Aug 05, 2020 Season 1

This episode is another installment in our skin story series, this time featuring the lovely guest Aubrey Seader. This episode is RAW and REAL about where we put our attention. Does putting negative attention on our skin help us? LOL no! It does not. We think on all the time spent on getting concealer perfect, or staring at our pimples in the mirror when instead we could’ve been just CHILLIN, or paying attention to something cool, like Pride and Prejudice (2005), a fantastic film with a fantastic soundtrack. Aubrey speaks candidly in this episode about her own struggles with shifting her attention from her looks to living life, and it's truly inspiring. Plus, she talks about the warm and fuzzy feeling of finding out that other people have flaws too. Basically, we all just want to know that other people are just as weird and gross and imperfect as we are. And that’s LOVE, baby! 👶 🍼 I think for both of us (Ellen and Hannah), we are still working on feeling comfortable with our acne, and we hope through our skin stories series, we can learn how other people are finding skin acceptance – and we hope that resonates with you 💜
