It's a bit warm, isn't it, today? Yeah. I don't know if anyone had this. I mean look at it behind you. Absolutely cracking the flags out here. I don't think we had this on the cards. Yeah, good race. I think it was all for me. It was all won and lost on the first corner. I really thought I would have a decent chance. I you know I was I felt we had a confident good car and we did. But track position into turn one was you know, I was I was put in a position I was putting fast starting BMW, got between me and Tom. I made a good start, but I couldn't I couldn't get right across the track. I can't get through him. He's managed to get himself in between us, and he's just held me up high, you know, up high. I can't go all the way around the outside, there's not enough grip, too many marbles, and you know, Ash manages to slip in between, and I did a good job actually getting back over to fourth, even so I was happy with that. It all bunched up then at Graham Hill. You know, it looks like De Leon kind of rattled down the side of Ingram a little bit, it looks a little bit of a funny move. I mean, I think uh often we see him BWW trying to outbreak a front wheel drive on the first lap. It's in it's very, very difficult for them with front tire temp. And Ash pipped his way through, which was a lovely opportunistic move. But um and once he hit the front, it was in a good position. We under a lot of pressure the whole race from Ricky, he's got a lot of boost, he's got a fast car in that hyundi, and um we're under a bit of pressure, but we brought it home, we hit his marks, and um we've got a little bit of work to do on the car, I think, to put ourselves in a prime position. But again, we're starting at the front, and we've got a chance to make get some points and trophies tomorrow.

Absolutely. I mean the qualifying race now means there's more points available, which you know at the end of the season could be quite critical. So good qualifying performance is even more important now.

It is it is ultimately, you know, there's you know, there's there's two real old guys in this, isn't there? There's Tom and Ash, and if you wanna if you want to win this, you're gonna have to beat them, and that's incredibly difficult. But you know, we're keeping ourselves my job is to keep myself in the mix ultimately and just see if I can nick a few when they slip up. Because other than that, it's very, very, very difficult under these circumstances. But I'm I'm in a good place, and I'm you know, I've got to make sure as well we score good points with the teams and manufacturers. We got off to a great start. You know, we don't want you know, that's also something that we're here for for Napa and for Alliance Racing. So that the you know, one eye on that as well. But um we're a long way out of the championship, but you know, we're clearly in contention, we're one of the top few cars, and we can um you know we can score some good points tomorrow.
