It's so look, we're on to the medium tire, see what we can do in in race two, but as a whole so far this weekend being pretty phenomenal.

I don't, but when you're the first car, it's a completely different story. You're the gauge, you're the reference. Obviously, I was probably over cautious at the start, didn't know what to expect. I'd uh again an awesome launch off the line, um could which gave me the breathing space for that opening lap, stayed out of trouble. They then soon appeared in the rearview mirror, but like I said, I think I was over cautious, but it was a right approach. We kept you on the black stuff.

And you've raced against Ricky for a long time, your good mates as well. He was monstering your rear view mirror, wasn't he?

Ah, he just did I I think it's the collard effect of the side. It's not even just Ricky, he's got a chip off the old block from his dad, and I've had some awesome battles with his old man on track, door to door and whatnot. They both race hard and fair, and I love racing Ricky, have done since we raced in Formula Ford 2014, all the way through into touring cars. So, yeah, it's phenomenal. I proper touring car racing. He leans on me, I lean on him. It's it's hard but fair, and that's what it needs to be.

How important now for this weekend is that to put more consistency and points in the bag? I mean, it's gonna be critical, isn't it?

Yeah, it is. I mean, we like I said yesterday to many people, we're not focusing on the temperature, it's way too early to be looking at that, but we're just bagging the points. So we're doing the best we can. Um, I think it's good enough at the minute, so we're we'll stick to what we're doing. Obviously, gonna run on to the medium tire now. But the good thing is everyone around us will come back down to our deployment level. So I think it's only Tom that's the anomaly because he's got that medium tyre out of the way, he's gonna be on the soft from third, so we'll see what he can do, but we won't make it easy. A good start to the day in his race win 51 coming this weekend. Haha. We'll see, we'll see. I'd like it to, but it's uh it's gonna be tough moving forward from here. But let's see what we can do.
