Power Positioning That Turns Leads Into Fans
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Stop pushing. Start positioning.
We share a quick but deep shift that changes how clients find you, trust you, and buy from you. The moment we stopped “selling” the way most people do and focused on power positioning, everything got easier and revenue moved in a surprising direction. Instead of cold outreach and awkward fit checks, the conversations started with, “I know what you do, I like your help, how do we work together?”
We unpack what positioning really means in a practical, no-fluff way: the frame you put around your offer changes the arena and the rules of the game. We contrast “trying to attract people” with becoming the attractor, where trust-based selling happens before the first call. We also use a simple brand example to show how an irresistible benefit can nudge behavior and make engagement feel like the obvious choice, which is exactly what you want for your own lead generation.
Then we get tactical about how to build that attraction using speaking and presentations as a personal brand engine. You don’t need to be perfect, you need to practice. We talk cadence, pacing, iteration, and how to craft content that educates and entertains without overexplaining, so people lean in, engage, and say yes faster.
If you want a cleaner sales strategy, stronger attraction marketing, and messaging that earns trust on autopilot, hit play. If this lands, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s stuck in sales, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

Power Positioning Changes The Game
Attract People Instead Of Chasing
Speaking As Trust Based Lead Generation
Make Your Offer An Irresistible Yes
Final Takeaways And Closing
SPEAKER_00When I stopped selling, it completely tripled my income. Now I'm going to tell you what ended up happening. I want you to learn about the power positioning. This is going to be five minutes only, and we are going to dive deep very quickly. I want you to realize the power positioning. When you position something, it completely changes the arena and how the game is played. What I mean by that is there's a way to attract people, and there's a way to be the attractor. So a way to attract people is maybe to present to them, maybe to speak to them, maybe to share their information, to share it organically so they have more trust with you. What ends up happening is by attracting people, they have a lot of trust with you. They know who you are and they've already spent those hours. So they're ready to work with you. The sale is significantly easier, right? So who do we trust? So let's think about really simple ones. Dunkin Donuts. A lot of people trust Dunkin' Donuts. Why? They've gone many times. They don't have to go after them as much, but it's more of an attraction. So what did they do to position themselves? With the American Express card, the gold card, they gave it as one of the bonuses. Hey, you get seven bucks a month at Duncan. I don't go to Duncan. I'm suddenly going to Duncan because of the attraction offer. Because they made it so irresistible that it's like, hey, I get it for free. Why don't I go? And I want you to start to think about your business that way, or even going and hanging out with people. How can you position something in such a powerful way that people are like, yes, I want to work with you? And that's what I started to do. Because when I did that, it changed everything. Because now I wasn't having cold leads that I was reaching out to, or cold leads reaching out to me. It was more people are like, I know what you do. I like some of your help. And let's see how we can work together. Which is a much more organic conversation than hey, like I just found you. Can we make this work? Can we make this a fit? Like, do you get what I'm doing? Because they don't have the trust. They don't fully understand what you do. So, first of all, you have to get a lot of clarity on what you're doing to make it really simple. But then you also have to attract them. And the way I did that was through my speaking. I would give presentations. And the truth is, my presentations talked about what I do, but not exactly. Because it allowed them to be entertained, but also educated. And that's the best. That's where the biggest difference is. And a lot of people would go, Well, I don't know how to speak. Well, you start practicing. I started this podcast six years ago. I'm still here doing the work today. Did I get better? Yes. Did my cadet and pacing improve? Yes. But am I iterating and getting better? Yes. All these have to be true. So I want you to start to think to yourself, when you're trying to attract people, how can you make it really captivating for them? One of the easiest things you can do, make it almost an irresistible yes. Make it almost irresistible so that they will at least engage with you and you can start diving a little bit deeper with them. So that's all I got for the Five Minute Friday. I hope this provides you some value on how I changed my perspective. Instead of going out there and hunting, I started attracting. And I hope that lands for you. Thank you.
