How The People Around You Shape Your Success (5 Min Friday)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Your goals don’t live or die on motivation alone, they live or die on influence. The people closest to you are either helping you compound confidence and action, or they’re quietly training you to second-guess yourself. We get real about the uncomfortable truth: your inner circle is not neutral, and the way they respond to your big ideas can expand your life or shrink it.
We walk through the simplest way to spot what’s happening, an “inner circle audit.” Who do you talk to the most? Who do you run to when you feel a new direction pulling at you? When you share a plan, do you hear “Let’s make it work,” thoughtful questions that sharpen the idea, and honest encouragement? Or do you get reflexive doubt that forces you to think smaller? If you care about personal growth, mindset, leadership, and building a better life, this is one of the highest-leverage checks you can do.
We also talk about the power of community: groups of high achievers, coaching spaces, and rooms where people actually want you to win. When you surround yourself with shared focus and higher standards, your beliefs expand, your habits improve, and taking action feels normal again. If you’re ready to make a change today, listen through and then tell us what your biggest insight is. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a circle upgrade, and leave a review so more people can find the message.

Five Minute Friday Kickoff
SPEAKER_00It's five minute Friday. Your inner circle is either compounding you or costing you. I want you to realize that the people closest to you aren't neutral. They're making you better or making you worse. So who are the people that you spend the most time with? Who are the ones that you go to when you have a new big idea? When you have a new direction that you want to go into? Or who are the ones when you share your idea? How do they respond to you? Oh, we can make this work. Or have you thought about this? Or this could happen? Or are you positive? Who are the people in your life and how do they respond to you? Are they helping you build? Are they pushing you to think bigger? Or are they forcing you to think smaller? The reason I ask this is because our inner circle starts the compound, right? These are the people that we spend time with, these are the books we read, the podcasts we listen to, all of it. But what it really is, it's the people that we're talking to. So I want you to think about who are the people, who are the five people in your

SPEAKER_00life that you speak with the most? And are they motivating you to be bigger or are they forcing you to play smaller? Because the truth is that we are a culmination of the five people we spend the most time with. Meaning, if the five people around us are forcing us to think small, or if they're super negative, or whatever it is, it's going to be a challenge for us. It's going to be something that we're going to have to overcome and something that we're going to have to build on. Now, after a few years of coaching, groups, mindset, all of that, I've realized the best thing you can do is get involved in communities. Get involved in people that have a shared focus and want you to succeed. Those people are very good people to be around. The more you get around them, the more you can expand who you are and who you believe yourself to be. I personally run a group each Monday that is filled with high achievers. I bring in high achievers to speak. I bring in motivational people to speak once a month. And the reason I say this is because that group has helped me out so much. When I've

SPEAKER_00been traveling, when we were gone for seven weeks, when we were traveling around everywhere, I always have the group meeting. I always try to make my best to do it. The reason being is because if we're able to do it, we're able to accomplish so much more. And it starts to expand our mindset. So this is five-minute Friday. And what I want to leave you with is I want you to do an audit. I want you to look around at the people around you and see who's helping me, who's not helping me, and who do I want to be around my community. And I want you to drop a comment. I want you to write a response. I want you to send me

I want to see what you learned and we can see what the biggest insight was, see how we can help you and see how we can get you to that next level and get you surrounded with the people you need to. So this five minute Friday, take action today and go make a change.
