Colin Gillis is Missing

Colin Gillis, an 18-year-old student at the State University of New York at Brockport, vanished mysteriously on the night of March 11, 2012. Last seen in Tupper Lake, New York, Colin, described as a 6'0" White male weighing 170 pounds, was wearing a distinctive American Eagle shirt, blue jeans, and red sneakers, with an orange L.L. Bean backpack possibly containing a reversible L.L. Bean coat. 

Despite his plans to reconnect with high school friends during spring break, Colin's night took an unexpected turn at a party on Paskungameh Road, where an argument erupted, leading to a physical altercation. While his friends left, Colin decided to stay behind. Witnesses recall seeing him walking alone toward Piercefield around 1:00 AM, contrary to his intended route home. 

Despite extensive search efforts and the recovery of some personal items, including his driver’s license and tobacco pipe, along NY-3, Colin's disappearance remains a mystery.
