Show Notes

Pete Mills is a man with many strings to his bow. He is a long-time technician for the one and only Elton John, plus a handful of other significant artists in the music industry. He is the founder and owner of Send Hill Studios and also one of the founders of Peex, an innovative system that lets the individual gig-goer to control mix elements of a live concert.

In this episode, Pete takes us through the history of Send Hill Studios, his incredible 35-year long career as a technician, and how Peex came to be and what it can offer to the live music industry.

Pete also talks us through what he has been up to during lockdown. The devastating effect COVID-19 has had on the live music industry for performers, artists, technicians and Peex. And what the live music industry can do to adapt once lockdown is eased and is performing to gig-goers in cars the new way forward?
