This show is inspired by and dedicated to the memory of my older sister, Rebecca who I lost tragically in 2019. I want to learn the back story, the story behind the story, the hidden secrets, and fun facts of all of the things that she was into. This show is my love letter to my big sister. My name is Amy Lewis and I have been the host and producer of the Pop Culture Retrospective Podcast since May of 2020 when I started the show. I lost my sister in the spring of 2019 and as a way of processing some of my grief and trying to focus on happy memories of my sister, I decided to start a podcast. What has followed has been an incredible journey of revisiting a plethora of pop culture from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. I have researched and created shows around the topics of music, movies, television shows, books and so much more!
