Malcolm Steenburgh, Co-Founder of Point Grey Research

Malcolm came out of University with a tech startup company and built it to one of the largest camera software companies in North America. Malcolm’s Company, which was founded with 4 of his buddies from the University of British Columbia was called Point Grey Research. They built cameras with new and innovative software that helped capture an image that made you feel like you were there. They supplied cameras for Google, Apple, and many more big tech companies. This company was founded in a closet-sized room with 5 people and no connections. In 2016, the company was bought from FLIR Systems for $253 million.
