The Rideout family was a rather large family living in upstate New York. Despite Craig and his wife Laura going through a contention divorce, the family of 9 stayed close. But after Craig goes missing and is found in a field several miles away, investigators start putting the pieces together and uncover multiple suspects – even within his own family. Then we cover the case of two hikers who met a stranger on the Appalachian Trail and discovered too late he was armed and dangerous. Wounded and bleeding, the hikers spent the night fighting to survive against a mad man, Randall Smith.
