14 - Side Hustle Culture

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

You might have discovered the concept of professional cuddling through "side hustle blogs". I overall don't like the culture surrounding "side jobs". In the United States, especially in California, gig workers are treated awfully.

Because of capitalism, it's becoming harder every year to be self-sustaining off of one source of income. One way I believe people have internalized capitalism is the 24/7 grind mindset. It's unhealthy. No one should be addicted to working.

My main gripe with rise and grind culture is that it portrays side hustles as easy ways to make tons of money quick. I don't believe there is such a thing.
