The Hidden Script Behind Drinking

SPEAKER_00

Alcohol. In the modern world, most people drink, and most people think that they choose to do so. But what if that's not true? What if the choice to drink isn't actually yours? What if it was installed by somebody else? Well, that's exactly what's been happening. Nobody chooses to put a poison in their body. For your entire life, you've been fed a script. A script that was designed by some of the smartest and most manipulative minds alive. And that script was to get you to believe one thing that drinking alcohol adds value to your life. And this is exactly why when you're stressed, when you're tired, when you're bored, when whatever it is, that's why your brain says drink. But today we're going to flip the script. Today I'm going to show you what's going on, and most importantly, how you can reverse this social engineering, this lie, and make a decision to not drink alcohol that's fully yours. Because you weren't born wanting alcohol. If we've not met yet, my name is Leon Sylvester. I struggled with alcohol for almost 10 years, and for the past almost eight years, I've not touched a drop. Not only have I not touched a drop, but I didn't go to AA or use willpower or beg God to help me or use therapy. I didn't do any of these traditional ways of stopping drinking. I did something totally different. I used first principles thinking, I reframed how I have you alcohol, and since then I've made a company, Soberclear, where I coach people through this process. So, in short, what I'm going to teach you in this video is something that I've lived through, it's something that I've done myself, and it's something I've taught hundreds, if not millions, of people on this YouTube channel how to do already. So I know that this video could be the video that just flicks a switch in your brain and makes you go, oh, I get it now. So let's get into it. So to understand the layers that are working here and how to fix them, let's just go back to the very beginning.

Beliefs We Absorb Without Question

SPEAKER_00

How many times have you sat there and wondered, why do I have the accent that I have? It's not something we ever think about. People say I have a funny accent. I'm from Lancashire, I'm from the north of England. In my mind, I don't have an accent, but the internet seems to think differently. But maybe you're Canadian, American, European, whatever, and you have an accent. But you never questioned it. Nobody does. You just fully accept it. You absorb the accent because of your environment, because of the people that you're around, you're copying people, and that's it. You just live your life. Many people never question religious beliefs. They're born into an Islamic community, a Christian community, a Buddhist community. They accept it because everybody else around them's doing it. They listen to the ideas, it makes sense to them, and that's it. Don't get me wrong, people do start to question those things later on in life. But there are many beliefs that you have in your life that you've never once questioned. But it gets a bit deeper because think about rulers of countries where they're literally dictators, right? They're the highest level of power, they control everything, they oversee everything, and they're basically a king with no, I don't know, no, no government, just it's just that's the person in charge. So there are certain people who know that if they can hijack people and program their brains, then they can literally control entire countries. So let's bring it back to alcohol. So do you not see how alcohol fits in here? Because an alcohol company and big alcohol as a whole can do the very same thing. Human is born, because when people are born, they don't wake up and think, I want to drink for the rest of my life. No, no, no, no, no. There's a process because when you taste alcohol for the first time, you want to spit it out. But then you get marketing message after marketing message, you get fake scientific reports, you get news, you get all of this stuff working against you, and then you gain the belief that alcohol adds value. Isn't that crazy? We have literally been twisted and manipulated to think that consuming a poison is good for us, that wine drinkers live longer and have better heart conditions, and all you need to do is consume this highly addictive poison and maybe you'll get the same result. It's madness. And if they can get you to believe it so deep into your subconscious mind that you never question it, they win because then you never stop drinking. And it's only when alcohol starts hurting you and you know you're feeling awful and you've put on weight or your wife wants to leave you, and all of that stuff. When that happens, that's when you start going, isn't that sad? Think how much money's been made, how much your health you had to sacrifice your health, and then you only question it when things go bad. So that is the first layer here is that they installed these beliefs so deep and so early on that you never question them. And this leads

Pavlov Conditioning And Alcohol Cravings

SPEAKER_00

me to the next layer: classical conditioning. A famous experiment in the 1890s by Ivan Pavlov. When Pavlov was studying canine digestion, he noticed that when the lab technicians would come into the laboratory to feed the dogs, the dog would actually start salivating the moment that it saw the technicians in the white coats. And then what Pavlov did is he ended up pairing this neutral stimulus, which was a bell, with food delivery. And then they could ring the bell and get the dog to salivate. And boy oh boy, do alcohol companies understand this. If they can create this feeling that alcohol is a good thing and adds value in your life, you drink it and then you have a good night, and then you start withdrawing, because that's what alcohol does is it creates withdrawal from the previous drink. If they can do that, and then the next day they can show you something where alcohol looks glamorous, looks like it's gonna give you something good, what do you think happens? You salivate. You're like the dog that's having a bell rang. You're like, ooh, give me that. See, humans can sometimes think of themselves as not an animal, right? We're not animalistic, we're human, we're above animals, and that's what a lot of people believe. And we don't think that we can be manipulated like a dog in an experiment. But the sad thing is, is it's kind of true. When you see an alcohol advert, don't see the advert. From now on, let's flip it. See the advert and just imagine somebody in a suit, they're stood behind the screen and they're watching you, and they're pressing a bell, and they're seeing the money come out of your pocket as you go and buy alcohol and drink it, and they're pressing the bell and they're going, ha ha, ding, ding, ding. That's what's happening. I'm sorry to make it graphic and sound weird, but you need to see that every time you see an alcohol advertisement, somebody's getting richer at the expense of your health. You didn't choose to drink alcohol. You were conditioned. You were conditioned by all of these inputs going into your brain. So if your brain is producing this output, and the output is that you like alcohol, you want to drink, you think you choose to drink, and you buy alcohol and you drink, and that's been based on decades of these inputs, then why are you trying to use willpower to not drink? It'd be like trying to use willpower to never use your accent ever again. From now on, let's say you've got to speak in a scouse accent from Liverpool. You've got to speak like a scouser. Oh, that's so bad. My friend always laughs when I do a scouse accent. But imagine you need to use a new accent for the rest of your life. And then you're at home, alone, no one's around, you're on the couch, you call your mum, and then your old accent comes back out. Willpower would never have worked there. Then why are you trying to fix an alcohol problem that's so deep and buried into your subconscious mind with willpower? To create

Why Willpower Fails Without New Inputs

SPEAKER_00

new outputs, you need new inputs. So let's break this down even further so you can just remove alcohol from your life and move on. And there's really three layers here, and there's three real world examples of people who use this principle of having better inputs to create better outputs. And in software, you have this thing called garbage in, garbage out. And with garbage in, garbage out, it basically means the quality of the code that you write. If you write garbage code, you're gonna get a garbage output. If you're creating some software and it's bloated and the code's all over the place, you're gonna get bugs, you're gonna get errors. So they can't write garbage code because they're going to generate garbage. It's the same in restaurants. The best restaurants in the world do not just have good chefs. Good chefs are not good enough for the highest level of food. The best chefs in the best restaurants spend most of their time sourcing ingredients, finding these exotic truffles and who knows what. But they actually have the best ingredients. That's what creates the best food. The chef just has to not mess it up. And it's the same with food. If you eat bad food continually, then you're gonna feel awful. You're gonna put on weight, you're gonna feel lethargic and tired. See, in every other area of our life, we know that the inputs are the most important thing to create better outputs. So what you can't do is just accept the output and say, I'm just gonna change my behavior. It never works. Not when there's this many layers that are working against you. So what do we do instead? You must change your inputs. Hopefully, by now that's obvious to you. You can see the game that's being played. Because if alcohol was trained into you, it can be trained out of you. But the inputs need to change now. So, what do we do

Practical Reframes And Better Content

SPEAKER_00

here? Well, there's many actionable things that you can do. If you've not got a pen and paper, grab one now. But one of the best things you can do is consume better things. So consume different content. Take some time to understand alcohol, to understand what it is. It does take time. This you read books, you can read my book, The 48-hour alcohol reset. We go very deep into this. You can invest in programs, in courses, you can watch YouTube channels like mine, podcasts, you can find other people like me on the internet that are really talking about this layer of truth that nobody really gets to because there's just so much chaos before it. But you can find people like this. Now, if you actually want help doing this, if you want help reframing the way that you view alcohol, really just consuming better inputs and you want to work with me directly, that's an option. You can go to soberclear.com and you can learn more about the program, soberclear system, how we help people, 96% client-rated success rate. You could look at that. If you're ready to apply, you can click the link below, fill in an application, and book a short call. So there's one option. But the most important thing here is you need to consume things until there's a switch. This is what happened to me. This is what's happened to thousands of people who leave comments on this YouTube channel, hundreds of my clients. We get to a place where there's this moment of revelation of like, I get it now. I see alcohol for what it is for the first time. And when this happens, it's the best feeling ever. It's like you feel this second chance on life. It's like I've been drinking all of this time, alcohol's causing pain, I can't stop. And then all of a sudden, it's like this endorphin rush. And you know that you see alcohol for what it is, and the desire to drink leaves you. And don't get me wrong, that can happen to you. And then if you don't reinforce this, then you'll go out back into the world where you see people drinking, the conditioning starts again, and you can have that endorphin rush and then still go back to drinking.

Reinforce Change With A Future Vision

SPEAKER_00

So, what's important is that you go towards a future. You have a vision for your life where you don't drink alcohol and you're a different person and you're going towards something better all of the time. You're improving your health, you're improving your family life, you're improving your relationship, you're improving your business, your career, you're always going towards something. What you don't want to do is go to the past and oh, this is this is gonna get into a long video if I go into this. But the the long story short is go towards a better quality of life. Change the way that you view alcohol, focus on the future. If you want to do that together, click the link down below or go to soberclear.com. I know you can do this.
