Care Coordination Makes Our Profession Highly Valued
We sit down and chat on the value of the Athletic Training and Therapy profession; how and where it fits and can be valued based on what we actually do! Anthony Breitbach has used over 20 years of clinical and sideline experience to inform his empowering and powerful current work in driving our profession forward.
Dr. Anthony Breitbach is a Professor and Director of Interprofessional Education at
Saint Louis University. He is a Distinguished Fellow and President of the National
Academies of Practice (NAP) representing NAP at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine Global Forum on Innovation in Health Professional Education. He is an Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) Fellow, chairing their Interprofessional Committee and represents them on Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC); also serving as Deputy Chair of the Interprofessional Global Board. Dr. Breitbach is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Interprofessional Care and the Journal of Interprofessional Education and Practice.
