Are We In The Middle Of A Sleep Crisis?
This week Nik is joined by Dr Ian Wood and Dr Dimitri Gavriloff. Ian is a GP in Windsor, clinical director at EMIS and UK clinical lead at Big Health. Dimitri is a senior clinical psychologist and sleep medicine specialist, he works at the Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute at the University of Oxford, and he runs a non-respiratory sleep disorders service at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
They discuss the recent BBC documentary 'How To Sleep Well With Michael Mosley' and consider if we're in the middle of a sleep crisis and what treatments are available for our patients.
There's also the usual look at the medical news headlines and the week in daytime TV.
