Outside of Sunday

Episode 124: From S*lf-Harm & Demons to a Life Surrendered to Christ - Lydia Healey, Part 1

Christa Season 1 Episode 124

In this episode of Outside of Sunday, I sit down with Lydia to hear her powerful testimony of how God rescued her out of deep brokenness. Before she even finished high school, Lydia was battling s*lf-harm, addiction, and drug-induced psychosis that left her tormented by darkness and overwhelmed by despair.

She shares about terrifying encounters with demons and the moment she felt ready to end her life. But in her lowest point, after an overdose, Lydia cried out to Jesus - and everything changed.

Lydia also opens up about her struggle to reconcile her LGBT lifestyle with her faith, the prayer that enabled her to walk away, and how complete surrender to Christ brought freedom and new life.
