Chantelle grew up in New Zealand, came to know and love Jesus from a young age, and genuinely wanted to honour Him with her life. When she started a relationship with someone who didn’t know Christ, it was complicated - but over time, things seemed to change. He was showing interest in faith, coming along to church, pursued Bible school and promised to love Chantelle as Christ loves the Church - it looked like he was pursuing God just like she was.

So she said yes.

But on their honeymoon… something didn’t feel right.

This is an honest account of Christian dating and marriage, navigating hope and discernment, and the reality that only God truly knows the heart.
