We are back on the axis of football and hey sharp, the double digit weeks have started. It's week 10 and that's how, you know things are kind of starting to wind down from the halfway point to the close of the regular season. We're not there yet, but it is double digit week, man. Cool. But a little bit again, it's just one of those, it goes by too fast. Yeah, I'm, I'm already getting sad. It's, it's like when, you know, when you're in school and Sunday comes rolling around and, and you can't even enjoy Sunday because you're dreading the fact that Monday's here, I'm already dreading the fact that the football season's gonna be over soon. Ugh. Actually funny, the first time in my life that I ever. Realized I actually liked what I did was when it was Sunday night and I wasn't dreading the next day. And I'm like, Oh, this is what it feels like to not hate Good feeling, huh? It's a great feeling. Yeah. It was my first my first manager gig when I was at Oracle many moons ago. But in any case, man Gug, the NFL is going to Germany this weekend. For the first time we'll be out in Munich, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and sure. Before this season started, I think we all thought this was gonna. A blood bath for for Tom Brady. I thought of it like, Oh, you know, Tom Brady's getting a great ovation. Part of me also thought how much of the, the fact that the NFL wanted Tampa Bay and Tom Brady going Germany had to do with the fact that Tom Brady's well then wife, Giselle was of German descent, obviously grew up in Brazil, but as of German heritage, I'm not sure if that went into it at all, or if he's gonna be received a certain way because of that. Very different now. He no longer has a German wife going into this game. And Seattle is surprisingly to me, still not favored, but you could say favored by not favored by a lot less than many people thought going into the season based on what they thought the sea would be, what the bucks would be. I'm actually surprised Tampa's favored by two and a half in this one last time I checked the line. Sure. What do you make of this game in Germany, in Munich? And you had a, you had a, a stop off in Germany, I believe in your younger. Yeah, I lived in Germany for three years prior to coming to to the US So sorry, I forgot to shut off my phone. Hey, not a crime. Yeah. Anyways, yeah, I lived in Germany for three years. It was great. Loved the people, loved the food, and Where about in Germany were you by the way? Well, I lived in in Hamburg and I played in the Germans soccer youth. I was actually, I made it all the way to their A league for youth soccer. Wow. And which is highly competitive to have a, B, c, and D leagues. I was in the Youth A leagues. Were you just like, were you just crushing people? Like, cuz like, you know, you don't usually see soccer players that are your size. No, I, I played center forward and I played goalie. So I was really, really good as a goalie. I just, my instincts to move side to side on, you know, I was a bigger kid, so, and, and the, and the, the, the, the long range. And the long range. Yeah. So I can, I can picture myself if I would've stayed there, you know, playing. Some kind of a professional, you know, soccer professional. Yeah. You still have been a football player. Just a different kind of football. Right? Exactly. Exactly. So no Germany school. I, I honestly don't think that the schedulers had anything to do with Giselle. I, I just think Tom Brady's. Fame goes far beyond the fact that his wife is of German descent. I think anywhere in world, Tom Brady goes, he's gonna be the greatest. So they thought, Okay, if, if we're launching this, this is the first ever NFL game, and who better to do it? With Tom Brady, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I mean, he, he's been, he's, he's been the face of the NFL for quarter of a century almost, which is crazy. Yeah. And so, I mean, let's, let's think about it. The, the NFL AFL merger, the Super Bowl era, 1967, right? That is basically for almost half of that timeline, Tom Brady's been in the league. That's wild. It's crazy, right? So I'm, I know he's the face of it all right. But look, man, Mr. Mr. Gino Smith might have something to say about that. He might say, Listen you know, he's been the poster child for, when I argue if a quarterback is talented, you tr you try to, you, you try to. If there's any hope in him left because I saw it happen with Rich Gannon. And you know, I was fighting for Sam Donald again. I always kept saying, not that I'm a true believer in Sam Arnold, if we can do it or not, but there's, there's a reason why he was a first round pick. Mitch Choki. There's a reason why he's a first round pick all these guys. If you can get'em for cheap, if you can get'em on the cheap, it's a low risk, high reward. Look at Seattle. I mean, Seattle's first place in NFC West with Juno. I mean, and, and, and, and he's the type of player, They're not gonna end up having to pay him a ton of money. He, he's gonna be a 20 million, 25 million player that that, that they're gonna be able to keep for a long, long time. But having said that, I think, I think I'm gonna, I mean, how can I pick against Tom Brady? I, I, I think the lights are gonna be shining just a tiny bit too. For for the Seahawks who're gonna make a huge trip. They're, they're basically making a, a long distance trip from West then to Germany. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna have to go with Tampa Bay and I'm, I'm give away the two and a points. I think Tom Brady's gonna, in this game. I disagree. I actually think Seattle's gonna take care of business, man. I, I, wow. I mean, I, I'm, and this is kind of, it's kind of funny, right? Because I'm usually the Tom Brady guy. You're usually kinda the skeptic on that topic. Oh, stop. Stop. Are you kidding me? I'm just to Tom Brady. Well, Anyway, I'm just Okay. I'm just, basically, I, I'm not, I haven't fallen in love with every birthday. I'm just Brady. Yeah. I'm just saying between you and me, who's more yes to Tom Brady. He's more gung ho on Tom Brady. It's me, right? Yes, you're, yes. So, but, but I just watched that game and I think we're maybe victims of recency bias because the last time we saw Tom Brady, he lived that final game winning drive against the Rams, and it was clutch and it was great. And yeah, they gave him one too many chances and all that, and he another comeback under his belt. But really, what did he do before that? And what, what's he, what has that offense been producing before that in the weeks prior? I just, I, I don't, I, I'm evaluating this game based on more than just that last draft. He mounted against the Rams who really, if the Rams could get a first down and, and score more than, you know, 13 points in a game, it'd be a moot. It'd be moot, right? So I just think Seattle's primed. Seattle's playing good football. Tampa Bay eked out a win against the, not even a mediocre mean The Rams are a shell themselves this year you know, we've seen what good teams like Dallas, San Francisco have done to the Rams and they played them. The bucks barely at home can eek out a win. I just really don't see Tampa as a force, and I think we've talked about it. They'll, they'll maybe by default, especially after last night, we saw a Carolina take care of business against Atlanta. And really if DG Mor to take, take his helmet off in Atlanta, That's likely a season sweep of Carolina over Atlanta. Carolina also got their first one of the season against the, these same buccaneers when they were supposedly tanking. Right. I just, I don't have a lot of belief in the Bucks. It's not a Tom Brady thing. It's a, it's a Buccaneers thing as guys are dropping balls. That line isn't what it was. The defense isn't what it was. And Seattle is on the opposite end of the spectrum. They're surging Gino's playing ball. Kenneth Walker, I mean, you wanna talk about offensive rookie of the year. How can it not be this kid? Right. Oh, he's phenomenal. They, they, they, they two rookie tackles sharp that are both getting the job done in Seattle. Have we heard a peep about Seattle zone line and the fact there's three, I mean, they're playing some incredible ball. I don't see, I am shocked that Tampa's a two and a half point favorite if I was a gambler and I'm not right. But I would be all over. Seattle on the points. And, and, and that's why you should remain a non gambler because, so you, so I mean, you just, you just displayed, you just gave me some, some ammunition for later on where we're gonna argue about certain things. Okay. You show that you're an emotional. Emotional better or emotional? How is it emotional? I'm going off say, Cause you're saying, you, you're pointing out to the opposite fact of it. To me, that's not even a factor of, of, of the win that they had over the over the rams. My, my thought is this. I'm just saying that I think people are propping up the buckers going into this game. More so than they should, because that was the recency bias we have with that final prep. Possibly. Possibly. But Vegas doesn't work like that. Oh no. I know. I'm not saying Vegas works that way. So here's but but they're the ones that set the, set the line. So here, here's, here's what I'm thinking. Seattle's strength is running the ball. Tampa is still excellent against, Against the run. Right. Seattle's weakness is, is, is under. Defense, is they do not, they do not put pressure out the middle to quarterbacks. If I'm Brady, should, should have some time in the pocket. Brady's gonna have time in the pocket. And he's gonna be able to pick and choose who, who he distributes the ball to. And that Seattle run game, I'm telling you, vea and, and those guys, that defense, the one thing that they're still doing phenomenally well is, is stopping the run and the fact that it's going to be basically a 20 hour trip. Almost for the or 16 hour trip, whatever it is. But they're gonna get there early. They've been there. I mean, I don't really factor that, cuz you're gonna get there, You're not gonna get there the day of the game or the day before the game. Right. You're getting there with enough time to account still still the, the, the time differential. Basically. Here's the thing, the game is six 30 Pacific standard time. Correct. That means, that means they're up at three in the morning, their time going to the stadium. Okay. Where, whereas with the bucks is as if they're up at six in the morning going to the stadium. So it's a, it is, I'm considering all these factors. I'm considering the fact that you have the greatest quarterback of all time, which playing in Germany is not gonna phase in one bit. I, I'm, I'm talking about a Tampa. Tampa offensive line who's been hampering Tom Brady to be able to step into their pocket now is gonna finally have a chance to do that against that suspect interior, defensive front of, of, of the Seahawks. Yeah. I'm talking about the strength of the Seahawks offense being the run game and Tampa is still solid against the run, and I'm talking about the time differential and, and the long term travel. I'm picking Tampa all the way, has zero to do with what they've been doing. What It's purely a foot football analysis, analysis type of a situ. Well, here's what I'll say. So Tampa is okay against the run. They're, they're 22nd, which is not great. No. But historically speaking, you know, they still got those players. Yeah, true. But, but they're, they're, but they're giving up 4.6 yards of carry this year, which isn't great. Now Seattle too, Seattle's actually not good against the run either. Seattle's 25th and they're giving up 4.8 yards of carry so that, that's not that right home about either. So neither of these teams are, are particularly, When it comes to playing the run I just think Seattle's one of those teams that they know their identity and they're, they're gonna run the ball on you. And I give Pete Carroll the coaching advantage here, of course over Todd Bowles. And I think unless something drastically changes for Tampa Bay on offense, and it might, I, I don't, I don't see how they are better than Seattle. I just, I think this is, and you're right, I think the travel does matter. Now, lemme ask you this. On a neutral field, they're getting two. And enough, like if this game, if this game was in Tampa, do you think Seattle's chances are better because it's at least they're not traveling all that much or Yes. Is it actually, is it to their benefit that it's a neutral field? No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm, I'm the thes are gonna be rooting for the, for Tom Brady. I mean, No, seriously. Think about it, right? What Seattle has, Seattle has a bunch. Non no name players and no offense to all those guys up there, but, but like, they haven't been around. I mean, like, you have DK Metcalf that, that might be recognizable worldwide, maybe. Maybe, Right. The rest of'em are, are really not well known. And Seattle is in the West coast. Seattle's not, not one of those teams that's really rooted for, and neither is Tampa. But guess what? Tom Brady is known all across the world. You're gonna see so many number 12 jerseys. I'm, I'm, I'm just gonna tell you that. So they're gonna have a home field advantage anyway. And partner Home Field Advantage is the fact that you're not getting your rest. Seattle I, And look, if this was on a neutral field, even if this was in Tampa, I would, I would probably not bet this game. I'm gonna bet this game. I'm betting this game. I'm betting, I'm betting a lot of money on Tampa. I'm heavy, heavy on Tampa. Not just because of the travel, just just because of the way teams match up, look styles, makes fight matchups, makes, you know, make games. So let me, well, lemme tell you something about Kenneth Walker. Okay. Oh, he's a stud. Incredible stats. Okay. He has, he's second in the league in rush yards over expected rush yards, right? So he's, he's 69 yard. Over the expected rush arts he was supposed to get. That's only second to Lamar Jackson, which is great, great company to be in. And then he's been the fastest ball carrier this year. He hit 22, just over 22 miles an hour. On a 74 hour touchdown earlier this year. Kenneth Walker is that dude. And I just, I I think, I think he's gonna be even more exploited. Right. Well, there you have it. We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll be talking a lot of smack. Come on. Come Tuesday. We, we, we shall see. But look. Hey, come on. If Tom Brady gets a w I'm not gonna cry either. That's Oh, stop hedging. Stop hedging. I'm, I'm hedging cuz I like Tom Brady. Okay. Skip Bays Jr. but listen, Sure. I've always. You know, American football is one of those sports, it's really hard to like, I feel like to launch it in other countries because we have a really unique and and interesting melting pot of people here in the States, and that's not always necessarily. The case in other parts of the world. And so like the diversity of positions and sizes and speeds you need to build an NFL team might be a little more difficult to just home grow in other countries because of the dyna, the dynamics and immigration and, and all of that. I've always thought Germany was somewhere where if you had to do it, like Germans would be a people who could definitely embrace that because they're just, the size, the physicality of the German people is is is it seems like they could potentially naturally transition into. Big football players, What, what do you think about that? Having lived No, you're right. You know, especially those Scandinavian countries and stuff and, and we had such a huge influx of, of American servicemen in Germany during the Cold War that actually football became the part of a small part of the culture because you actually had, you actually had high school football in Germany. For the, for the base kids, for the military kids. And, and look Rosh Shine base in near Frankfurt is the largest American base in the world. So it's so, so they've, they've, they've had the taste of American football, and then obviously with the explosion of espn. Football's been steadily going to the point where, you know, and then you had NFL Europe that had, you know, different types of success rates. Yeah. And you had a couple ger you, you, you had actually three of the teams were German. It was the Hamburg, Hamburg Sea Devils Frankfurt Galaxy Berlin Thunder. Right. So they, they, they also had a, Ryan, they had had a team in the Rhine at, at one point. So yeah. Ryan Fire. Yeah. So, I mean they, they, they've historically have had some football out there in Germany and and, and so they, they look, how could people not fall in love with the greatest game in the history of the world? So, come on. I, I, that's something you and I are not gonna disagree on cause there's no question about that, but should be interesting. I'm taking Seattle out, right? Charles's taking Tampa. We'll see what's what come Monday. Char let's talk about, you talk about Scandinavia and those guys. Well, good transition. Let's talk about the Minnesota Viking skull. Getting potentially very fortunate. Break here. They're going to Buffalo. And I said, I said, I, I've said it. Hey, let's wait till they go to play Buffalo. We'll find out if they're real. And I didn't even actually mean like if they win the game, but like, can they even hang with Buffalo? Even if it's a loss? Like I get it, it's in Buffalo, but like, can you hang? Right. Well, Josh Allen's status for this game very much in question. He suffered a injury to his throwing elbow. Last week against the Jets, and he has not practiced all week. Today's Friday we'll see if he, if he partakes in a limited practice, but looking more and more like he's probably not gonna go in this one char. So Minnesota, again will get to face most likely a backup quarterback has keen, interestingly, in Shar. Remember the Minnesota Miracle Taste? Keenum? Stefan Diggs, Well they kinda unite here. Taste Keenum. Stefan Diggs against the Vikings. How interesting would that be potentially if that were to go down? But. This is shaping up to be another game where the Vikings probably gonna get fortunate, not face Josh Allen and Win. If they're gonna win, they're gonna go eight and one. Oh the Vikings eight and one, let's put'em with the top three of our power rankings. Right? So, so that, this is kind of annoying to me cuz I really wanted to see could they hang with Buffalo. And actually, to be honest, if I was a Viking fan, I'd want Josh shallow in the places I wanna. Are, are we that team this year? So I don't think it's gonna happen, like kings are lucky. What do you say about this one? Are are, are you done? Are you done with your ridiculous. With the ridiculous. Okay. Just pure love this. This was the greatest thing that could have happened to you because it enabled you to say, if the Vikings do play great, Oh my God. You know, it's against case Keenum. But if they lose, you're like, Oh, they couldn't even beat the Josh. First of all, we don't know if Josh Allen's gonna play or not, Number one. Well, and if he does, is he gonna be, is he gonna be a hundred percent? If he does, okay, But, But no. Well, we're gonna be able to see, we're gonna win or lose. We are gonna be able to see the dynamic Minnesota offense versus the number one defense in the nfl. Yeah. But they don't have, they don't, they don't have a lot of pieces. They don't have a lot of pieces on their team. Okay. Skip Bay Jr. Are, are, are, are, are, are they still not gonna face the number one defense in the nfl? Number one, I mean, all over a last week. They know honestly, you should run for politics. You need to run for politics because it's just unbelievable. It, it's just unbelievable how you hedge yourself on how you don't answer questions. Dude, Tremaine Edmonds are starting middle linebacker in practice. Let's see. Kayer Elam starting corner. Didn't, didn't play. I have news for you. This is Matt Milano. Matt. Matt Milano. Oh no. Oh my God. The earth. The sky's gonna fall. I'm just saying they've got a lot of guys out. Jordan Poer hasn't, hasn't practiced, but they still, they poer Tramaine Edmonds, that's four starters. And they haven't even had Aous White back yet. And then Greg Rousseau, their other. Let me ask you something. If, if Minnesota blows out Buffalo, what are you gonna say? They didn't have Josh Allen, they didn't have a lot of their pieces. Correct. Wouldn't, wouldn't that be true though? Okay. So that's what you're gonna say. I mean, why, why would you not point that out? Okay. No, I'm just, I'm just asking a question, Mr. Politician. Are you incapable of answering a question? I think it would be inevitable. You'd have to cite that we're actually, that's a, You'd have to cite that. That's, that's, that's, so that's a yes. If they win a close game. If they win a close game, you're gonna come back and say, What? Oh, they couldn't even beat a hapless bills game that's been hampered by injuries. I don't know. I mean, I mean, if they lose, you're gonna be like, Oh my God, they, they lost to a team that's got half a strength. Correct. Why would you not say that though? Okay. So therefore, no matter what the Vikings do, you're gonna have something for them. So what else are we discussing, Right? Well, yeah, because sure, you're right. Because the, the problem is we can't properly evaluate the Vikings in this game anymore. We can't. We can. Okay, so if they do lose so many guys that are, that are potentially out, how, how, how can you So that getting what I want. If they lose, If they lose, I don't want hear a word from it, because this could be a track game for them. If they lose, they're like, Oh, they don't have this, they don't have that. They don't have this. And the other guys that play on that TV are gonna step up. And play well, and you're gonna be like, Oh my God, they're so terrible that they couldn't even be a hapless Bill team. So lemme ask this. What, what would it take for you to happen in this game for you to say that the Vikings really aren't, aren't what their record might indicate. If their offense doesn't score a lot of points, okay, fine, then let's let, then let's agree to that. But even then, sure. You don't think having. Tremaine two starting corners. Matt Milano, Greg Russo all out. You don't think that matters, Jordan? I mean, look at the guys, Jordan. Okay, listen. So, so look Jordan Poer hasn't practiced. Okay? They're already had their other, who's other safety there? I can't remember the kid who's used to be in Green Bay too. The, the other safety for the year anyways, so potentially both starting safety's out in this one. He hasn't been there the entire year and there's still the number one defense. Right, But Char, you saw it with that. They didn't have, They didn't have Matt Milano last week. Oh, that was huge. With their defense. I mean, I don't understand. We're talking about five starters out on defense. How did that My point, My point is this, that no, that you've basically pigeoned hold yourself into a situation. No matter what the Vikings do, they're down. It's just reality, Sean. Okay. All right, so then admit it. Admit it. No matter what, you're gonna talk crap on the Vikings this week no matter what. We're not gonna be able to really say necessarily, Okay then, then you know what? Let's not throw this. I'm not gonna talk crap. It just is. It just is what it is like. Like you can't, like if they go there and pigeon yourself into a situation where you can argue your point and you are just pissed off that since the beginning of the year you just said that it's gonna be eh, and I told you their dynamic offense and their defense is better than, than what people say they are. We're, This is Skip Bails Jr. What? Sure. There's so many guys out in this game. You can't properly evaluate them. I didn't figure, I swear to God, you're frustrating. Almost as bad as he frustrates me when I used to watch him 10 years ago. Okay. Did they skip bails? Did they go on clone, skip bail, and you came out because a Dallas Cowboy fan who sometimes goes on such emotional rant, that's kind of funny. A Tom Brady lover, a lover of Tom Brady, where, where? If Tom Brady takes the crap, you say, Oh my God, what a beautiful sculpture. It's like, and then you just argue your points just to argue your points. I'm just stating facts, man. I'm, I'm, Yeah, that's what he says. He says he's, he's a teller of truth. I'm reading for you and injured, isn't it? Like these guys are all actually, you're building, you're, you're building a narrative that's, that's, that's very that, that's not completely truthful. Fact, the fact is the fact. The players that, that back, those other players up have to be good because it can't just be on the shoulder of the starters. Okay. Right. Yeah. Let's, let's just all play backups against starters and No, that's not the same thing. One of the reasons why teams are championship caliber teams is cause their backups can step in and spell those starters. I agree with you. I agree with you, but, but at some point, Even that has a limit, right? Like at some point, like if it's, if it's a couple guys, But I'm, But what I'm telling you is that the bike only play who they're, who they're up against. Yeah. I know, but, and my point is, you're right. But who they've been up against has inhibited our ability to truly evaluate them. That's the only point I made to, to what? To, to say that there's a third or fourth best team in the nfc. Oh, congratulations. I'm talking about, but yeah. But they're not a top five nfl. They're what? They're not a top five NFL team. They're not, I never said they were, but I'm not, I'm not saying you said they were, but I'm just saying that's what, No, but why are you arguing this point? So why are you going on a tirade against the Minnesota Vikings? Because they're the same. They're should be happy that your boys is having success in Minnesota. My my argument aga about Minnesota. Is not that they're great or not that they're bad. My argument is that they're basically the same team. They've always been, No, they're better. They just happen to. Run into a very, for circumstances this year. They, they're, they're, they're better. That's my point. No, they're, they're better than they've been in the past. Ko No, they're not. The team team is better. The team dynamic is better. They're, they're, they're, they're coming from behind and winning and winning close games. They've look the, the, the, the narrative on Kirk Cousins was the fact that he couldn't win primetime games. He's been winning primetime games. So come on. He got, he got smacked in his first one against the Philly. Philly against the number one rank team in the nfl. Well, you know what I, I want the Vikings to win this game. I do. You know why? Cuz guess who they play? The Cowboys at home. I I thought you were off the bandwagon. What happened? Skip baby. Let's my, my, my personal You should be ashamed of yourself. My personal affinity for the cowboys has nothing to do with you should be ashamed. You should be ashamed of yourself. You so do, It's just, it's just, it's just shameful, boy. I mean, like, you have no shame. I have a question though. Would the Cowboys be a formidable opponent for the Vikings? Assuming they're healthy, would they. Of course they are. Any NFL team that's, that has a winning record. Would you don't have to be a Cowboy fan to say that. That's all I'm saying. No, but just a smile to smirk on that face of yours. It's like, Come on Mr. Salesman, give me a break regardless. Give a break. We'll see. So, So what, what do you think happens in this Machar, Let's get to the game itself. Okay. Josh? Let's say Josh Allen and these five defensive starters are all out cause they haven't practiced all week. What actually happens in this game in your. I, I, I, it's a very, it's a, a range of things. Minnesota could come out and lay an. And, and the backups could say, you know what? Everybody's counting us out on, on play great. Or Minnesota could come out and, and, and take care of business. I, I think if Josh Allen doesn't play, and I think if they're missing their two safeties, then yeah. Minnesota, I will say Minnesota's gonna win. But as things stands just, I just wanna, I just wanna let you know that ff Okay. The, the high and mighty fricking pf That's right. All the time. Yeah. You know, they they basically. They basically have, have have buffalo winning, but the people, everybody's betting Minnesota, just, just so you, the cash and the tickets, I mean, ff is sometimes way off way, way off in my opinion. Just, just so you know, BFF last week was like three and 11 or whatever with the over and under bets and, and all other bets. So I, the, as of as of 30, as of 40 minutes ago, Josh Allen not practicing. So you riddled me this bat, man. How is he not gonna practice the entire week in play? Probably not the case, right? No, it's Cause here's the thing, as a quarterback, you still, you still have to, you still have to like rotate that arm. They're just trying to, maybe deflation and stuff. They just want, they just wanna make sure that he doesn't, that he doesn't, you know, aggravate it some more. And by the way, the chess that he plays, it's official Jordan Poer and Greg Russo starting safety, starting the end both out. Oh my God. Not, This is just such a travesty for you. Oh my God. What, what are you gonna do? You understand? I, I, look, I sure I was looking forward to this because I'll be, if, if they went out there with a, with, with a healthy, not, it doesn't have to be everybody healthy, but like, come on, your quarterback, who's an arguably MVP candidate and five defensive starters. Oh, that's a lot to be missing. Oh, no. Minnesota's gonna, Minnesota's gonna be, Minnesota's gonna be nine and one. Oh, no, Kuru. What are you gonna do? Well, actually eight and one. But, but I'm is, I'd be the first one to admit that I was wrong about the Vikings. If they had played a healthy Buffalo team. If, if, by the way, even if they, even if they lost. Even if they, but if it was like, Okay. Yeah, they, they showed me their, they got some grip. They got some fight. Okay. All right. And the problem is we're not gonna be able to find out. Right. And you think I'm happy about that somehow? No. I wanna see what the deal is. Okay. I have my theory. My theory could be wrong, but Well, you're gonna, you're gonna have to wait a, you're gonna have to wait a week. I'll have to wait a week to look late. Now watch now with the way the Vikings, they're doing some bud. You know, maybe, God forbid, maybe something happens at the Dak Prescott in Green Bay and now they're gonna be facing you know, what's his name? Cooper Rush again. Who, by the way, There we go. This is where Kuru is trying to build a foundation of another excuse for next week. Cooper Rush actually beat the Vikings in Minnesota last year. Okay. Then there you have it. There you have. But in any case, I, Yeah, I mean, Buffalo as of right now is getting three and. I think, I think it's, it's if Josh Allen doesn't play, which he's not gonna play, they're missing all these guys in defense. It's, it's, it's gonna be tough. It's gonna be tough. So I've, I've got the Vikings, I got Vikings by at least three in this one. I think, I think them and Seattle are to me, probably slam dunk road dogs that I would take this week. Shark. Let's talk about another road dog, which we talked about extensively on Monday, and that will be the Indianapolis Cols going going to Vegas. The fight, the fighting. Jeff Saturdays call these days are going up to Vegas to play struggling Las Vegas Raiders and Raiders favored by four and a half as of right now. And there aren't a slide, man. Believe it or not, you'd think the, the the Raiders have better than the Cols. Colt's coming to this one. They're three, five and one Raiders are two and six. Okay. So so Colt have actually had a better record in the Raiders this year. And this is, this is to me is, is the Michael Lombardi calls it the, the general custard last stand game, right? Like you, you gotta have this one. If you're the Raiders, don't you? It's a big one for them. Jeff Saturday. Char has his, One of the, the big questions was you've got nobody on the coaching staff who's called plays, who's gonna do that? He's picked a guy named Parks Frazier. Okay. Which very soon could be nickname Parks and Rec. W R E C K. You just couldn't wait to, you just couldn't wait for that, for that dad joke. Could you if he res this game plan up? The guy's 30 years old never called a play. I think he's had like seven, eight years of coaching experience, but he is really just been kind of the passing game coordinator. So we'll see. Maybe he's one of these boy geniuses. But, but we'll see. Parks frazier com plays for for in Indianapolis. And Jeff Saturday. He, he, he's had a lot in fight this week. And Josh McDaniels on the Raiders side, You gotta think he's gotta be in the hot seat. We'll see what happens there. But what do you make of this one? Here's, here's the thing, you know how sometimes I sit because I really have nothing to do in life. I just sit around and I, and I and my mind meanders through. Yeah. You know, reality and not reality. Do you know what I would do if I, if I was Jeff Saturday? Jeff Saturday was one of the smartest centers around, Right? That, that's that. So how does this, by the way, how does this compare, whatever this is, how does it compare to your Kellen Moore Should have been a quarterback in college? Oh, you're going exactly down the path I was going. You play center? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Okay. When, What'd he say? I would start, I would start Matt Ryan. I think he might, That's the thing. He might, because Ryan's healthy. I would start Matt Ryan and I would have a direct link between the center, the former center, who's the head coach now and the quarterback, and I would have Matt Ryan call the place. Interesting why Matt Ryan has more experience than anybody calling plays on on that team. But was Matt Ryan ever calling plays himself? I mean, he has Cal, but when you're, when you're a quarterback with Matt Ryan over 10 years of playing experience, you don't think he can call plays? You probably could. You're right. But, but, but maybe it's like running the huddle is, is a challenge. I would go, I would go no huddle. I would go no huddle, and I would have Matt, Ryan and Jeff sat basically says, Hey, listen, I see this, I see that, you know, this is what we talked about. Let's, let's go. And, and he can still make the direction. Okay, let's, let's try to do. Because on each situation you have different, different options. Hey, we want to go, Let's try to hit him deep. Let's try to attack that corner. Let's try to attack that linebacker. Let's try to run it. I would go no huddle. I would go, I would come out and just surprise the shit outta the Raiders. Have mad Ryan just go bang, bang, bang with that running attack with, you know, and, and, and see if that takes'em off. Look. But when you have a dynamic runner, And if your offensive line has been struggling, one thing you do, One thing that I would do if I was a coach, I would run no huddle because defensive linemen, they have to rotate to stay fresh. If a defensive line stays one on one the entire game, but an offensive lineman, he's toast. You know that, right? He's, He's freaking toast. Of course, defensive linemen need to have a rotation of six players. If you have four starters, minimum, minimum, if you run, if you run no huddle, those guys are gonna be on their heels the entire time, and you can try to steal the game from the Raider. I think so. I just look it up. Char, as of 17 minutes ago, Matt Ryan practiced Thursday and you practiced today with the first team though. Practiced in full. I don't know if it's for the first team or not. I would. Why would you want to have a guy that's never called plays before? Combination of a guy that's never coached before. An offensive coordinator that's gone. He, he got fired before the you? Maybe, maybe not. Ryan will help Park Fraser with the play calling. You know who, who knows. That's interesting. I would, but, but you need some stability in, in, in that offense. You have a new head coach, you have a new offensive coordinator, you have a new play caller, you have a rookie quarterback, you have a struggling offense. Matt Ryan is is the stability that they, I think what, what they talked about Sure. Is if like they, they would owe Matt Ryan a bunch of guaranteed money if he gets injured. So the idea would be like they don't wanna play. Okay. To avoid that potential. Okay. Well, I'm, I'm talking about trying to win the game and trying to turn things around, but they're, they're playing NFL football, which actually makes sense if, if that's the case. The economics of the NFL is, is a, is a legitimate concern. And it also kind of looked bad to be like, well, we made, we made Frank Reich go with Sam Ellinger and then we can him when it didn't work out. They're not gonna say that. They're not gonna say that. And then as soon as Jeff Saturday's in the picture, Oh, let's get Matt Ryan back in there. No, no, no, no. They're not gonna say that because, because they, they can, they can, they can leave it on set and people are like, Oh, well, maybe it was Matt Wright that decided to go with the rookie. Yeah. I, Well, so, Well, yeah. I mean, I, I think Matt Ryan, I mean, this is not gonna happen. I'm just telling you this is what, this is what was going through my crazy. When when, you know, and I'm looking at it from coaches for a second, I'm like, if I was coaching, that's what I would do. I wanna get you Sorry, go ahead. No, I was gonna say, I would have Jeff Saturday and, and Matt Ryan, you know, watch film together and kind of come up with a game plan with, with, with, with all the other guys and let Matt Ryan call it. I wanna get your thoughts on this. Char A snippet of Jeff Saturday's first ever press conference is Kohl's head coach. Okay? Right. Think what you think here. Here's a snippet, and this is just a for context. He was asked about. The manner in which he was selected and his qualifications for the job. Here we. And I, and I'll address, I I know the question I'm sure is gonna get a bit asked, but, you know, the Rooney Rule, I'll be honest with you, it's an important rule. I I do not diminish it. One second. Right. I, you know, I, I believe and understand fully why it is as important as it is, right? I, I don't, I don't minimize, I don't, I mean, this is, this is important. My role here is for eight games. When this is over, they will do an exhaustive search and, and pick whoever their best candidate is to be the head coach of the Coles. If I'm considered, I'd be honored. I have no idea where this thing is gonna go. Not even a little bit, and I'm not, but I can assure you that's gonna be handled, that, that, that, that from the organization's perspective, from my perspective as a man, like, I'm, I'm, I'm good. And here's the. Everybody talks about my, I'm completely comfortable in who I am as a man, bro. I know I can lead men. I know, I know the game of football and I'm passionate about it. I have no fear about are you as qualified as somebody else, Bro, I spent 14 years in a locker room. I went to playoffs 12 times. I had, I got five dudes in the Hall of Fame that play with you. You don't think I've seen greatness? You don't think I've seen how people prepare, how they coach, how they gm, how they work. I at one Super Bowls been to two. Here's the deal, man. None of us are promised a good job. I may be terrible at this and after eight games I'll say, God bless you. I am no good. I may be really good at it. I got no idea, but I dang sure ain't gonna back down. I love it. What do you love about it? Love it, love it. I'm a fan. If you're gonna come into the job, you might as well go in guns blazing, right? Yeah, I, I, I love it. The only thing, I disagree with him, but I understand why he said it. I don't like the Rooney Rule. I think it's tus and I think it's a slap on face, which I know you agree with me on that too. I'm not, I'm not a fan of it either, cuz you, it almost like makes, it makes a joke out of the minority camp. You do evaluate and, and I also think that it's not needed anymore. I also think that with all these, you know, minority head coaches that we have a slot needed anymore. But, but I love it. What, what else is he supposed to say? And he literally, he, I mean, I love it. I agree with him and I, and I love me some Jeff Saturday. I'm a big fan. The only part I wasn't as big on that Jeff Saturday made a comment about was I've been around greatness. I've played with five guys who were in the Hall of fame. I've seen how people GM talking about bill polling and obviously like, yeah, I'm sure he's seen it, but I don't think that translates into being a head coach and I, not that it's not helpful in any. But at some point you gotta do it, man. And just because you've seen greatness and seen Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison, these. It doesn't mean that all makes you a great head coach, right? Like, Yeah, I mean, I I, I watched Troy command with Michael Erman, you know, does that mean I can go and coach offense now? Like, no, but K there's something to be said when he's sitting in those meetings and he sees how they talk and, and he prefaced it. He said, I might be the worst thing he did ever. So, and he said, My roles for, he said, my roles for a, for a games. Yeah. So like, look, I mean, I love how he said it and what he said. He's basically, he's answered all questions and he's put all that aside. He's literally saying, I'm just in here to bring some stability, and I'm just a stop gap and it's an honor, you know? And, and, and I've, I, it goes, I know what it takes to practice hard to win. And I, and I've been there. I know how, you know what it takes. At least he's seen it. He's been, he's been around it. He's, he didn't come out and say, I'm gonna be a great head coach. He said he loves a c. What else? Kus, What else is he supposed to say? Yeah, I'm actually, I mean, I think like, dude, I mean if I was called on to coach any NFL team, I I, I'd do it. I'd like, Yes. Yeah, I mean, why not, right? Cause first of all it's probably gonna be a pretty nice little paycheck, even if it's for half a season. And on top of that, it's gonna be a cool experience. And, and, you know, worst case scenario, I make a few extra. Best case scenario, maybe I'm good at this thing and I can build a career off of it. Like, you know, like, let's, who could not wanna take the chance? Right? And, and honestly, the more I think about this, the more I like it because it's a nolo situation for the Colts. It's a nolo situation for Jim, me. It's a nolo situation for Jeff Saturday. I, I, I like what you said in the, in the Mondays or Tuesdays episode, you said somebody to the effect. Jim Meese is rolling the dice and he's, he's hoping for snake eyes. Yeah, Right, Right. And it could happen. It could happen. It could. Well, look, let's talk about this char, because this, this game is hard for me to predict because like the whole Matt Ryan practicing thing, like this is a materially different game. And I, I've been very critical. Matt Ryan, I don't think it was a good signing. I'm not a fan, but, but with that, He is leaps and bounds better for this offense than Sam Mellinger is. Right? He's a veteran. He's been there. He's got pre, like he's an NFL quarterback at the end of the day. Okay. Yeah. This game is materially different. If Matt Ryan plays and starts, by the way, they're getting Jonathan Taylor back. Jonathan Taylor, fully healthy. Okay, Let's not diminish that. Although he hasn't been great, but still that's a big deal, okay? Right. It's hard for me to call what happens. I don't know how you're viewing it, but this is gonna be really, really troublesome I think for Josh McDaniels and I alluded to this earlier in the week. If the Raiders, if the Colts come to town and they beat you, and now you follow two and seven, that that's, that's gotta be damning, like damning in the sense of you're, you might be gone before the weekend's over. If that happens, what do you think if, if they lose to the examples cult. I wouldn't be shocked if he's fired like right after the game. Yeah. because let's, But here's the thing, if you're already planning on firing him, why wait till the end of the year? Yeah. I, I agree. I agree. And, and, and, you know, let's break there. There are two wins. Our home wins against the Broncos and the Texans. Maybe you could say, okay, the Broncos was not impressive, but it was like a decent win. Okay. Texans, they've been a punching bag for pretty much everyone they played. They've punched above their weight a little bit, but they really fallen apart in the second half of games. So not much to write about home there. They got shut out by the Saints recently, who just got, Molly walked at home by the Rav. They lost to the Jaguars at home after a 17 point lead. They lost to the chiefs after a 17 point lead. They, they, they lost to the Titans, which I guess no harm noal in how they've been playing. You know, they lost to the Cardinals in Arizona after having a 17 point lead. The Cardinals are a train record with team as well. Like this is not pretty in Vegas right now, and it's gonna get a lot uglier if Jeff Saturday comes into town and logs his first win and his first game as a head. Yeah, no, it's look, and I still believe that the Raiders are a good, well, not, not a good team, but a talented team. I, I, I still believe in that. By the way, they just placed Darren Waller and Hunter Renfe on Injured Reserve, so they're out at least four weeks. Wow. Right. So you got no Waller, no Renfro in this game, by the way. Not that they've really had them anyway, Like Renfro has been overwhelming all year. Waller's been hurt all year, unfortunately. Right? Well, they're gonna have to establish it, you know, get on the back of Jacob, you know, Jacobs. So, which, which he's been phenomenal for most of the year, especially early part of this year. And, and look, I honestly think that if Mad Ryan plays that they have a chance to play. And I don't blame what the Col said with playing Sam Eger because you had to see what what he's got. He clearly is not, he's clearly not made for the, and and, and not just because he failed, but just the way he was making a source. He's not ready, He is not ready to take over your team next year. Now you know that you're gonna use your draft choices for next year to get a quarterback. So I, but, but it's time. If, if you really. To put a good product out there for your, for your fan base, You need to start Mad Ryan. Mad Ryan is a borderline hall of fame quarterback. He, he's like, literally, it's, it's like for his entire life, it's, it's, he's almost been like a, I think he, I think he's in the hall. A really good, I don't know if he's in the hall. That's, that's why he said, yeah, borderline. I mean, you know, the guy's been an NFL mvp. He's, he should have had a Super Bowl if Tom Brady didn't get extremely lucky if Tom Brady didn't exist. Yeah, no. If Tom Brady didn't get extremely lucky and, and, and terrible, terrible play calling by his coaches, as you say about the Viking, all you can do, Hey, he capitalized on the decision making. Exactly. Just like the Vikings, all they can do is they capitalize on who they play. So anyways, but, but even I'll say about that, how do you know Tom Brady's comeback. Pressure, some of the decision making. I still put that on Tom Brady. I don't think, Of course you do. Of course you skip last but, so, But in any case, yeah, it's, So we, we agree Matt Ryan makes us very different. But regardless, the optics of the struggling Col team coming into Vegas and winning is really bad. Raiders gotta take care of business. I think I almost compare the Raiders to the Packers in a. Two teams, it seemed like they just lost confidence, you know? But if, if there was a bounce back game, a team you want to face to get on track, this would be it. Right? A cols team that just fired their head coach, you know, fired the offensive coordinator that has a guy who's never called, plays in his life, playing plays for the first time and you're at home. You gotta think this is, this is, it's, it's on paper set up for them to have a bounce back game. Is it? Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. In fact, I'm gonna bet them because let's talk about the Vegas minus four and a half. Do you like. I, I don't like the four and a half. I like the, I like the money line of straight up, you know, of of, of just laying, you know, just laying the, laying the money and, and just taking them heads up. Because I, I mean, would it be out of the realm of feasibility that Mad Ryan goes in there and, and puts the, you know, and, and they lose, you know, lose the game. I'm betting the minus two 20 that they're gonna, that they're. You know, minus two 20, meaning I, I would be risking$220 for them to for them to, for me to win$100 if the, if the Raiders went. So as amused as I would be if the col somehow went and pulled us off because man, that, that, that would be pretty, that would be insane. I, I actually, I'm taking the Raiders here. I think they take care of business. I think Garrett. Bounces back, they ride Josh Jacobs, even with Renfro and Wall are out, they're gonna feed the Rock to Devonte and do just enough on defense to stop would spend kind of anemic offense with Indy even when they've had Matt Ryan and Jonathan Taylor healthy. I think Raiders get back on track this week and they cover as well. So we'll see. Crazy, crazy things have happened. Maybe you had Jeff Saturday is gonna take char up on calling the play straight through Matt Ryan's headset and letting Matt Ryan take the Helms. We'll see. But remains to be seen how that goes. But yeah, man, if they somehow pull that wind, the colts do, it's gonna be doom and gloom there. If, if they're, Look, But here's the thing though, there's two directions that the Colts can head to. They can say, Okay, we're gonna, we're gonna sacrifice this season for the future. And so then, then, you know, then, then what they need to do is play Sam Mellinger and, and especially if, if the monetary compensation for mad writing in case he gets injured is that high. And that's a consideration, which it should be. I don't look, I don't blame Earth Safe for having that, that thought process. Yeah. If he's looking into the future, you know, there's a business that he's running. So if, if, if that's, if that's the case, then yeah, I understand. But if you really wanna do your fan base service and say that, look, we can still possib. Make some noise and, and, and put a good product out there. They have to start that brand. Indeed, indeed. Char, let's talk about another team that's served about four and a half, and that would be the Dallas Cowboys traveling at Green Bay Road, favorites for the first time against the Packers. And as far as I can remember the struggling Green Bay Packers loses a five straights, or after starting off three and one, they're now down to three and six. Their last loss coming at. Putting up single digit points against the league's. Worst scoring defense. Conversely, Char, are the Cowboys coming off a by they're six and two. Looks like Zeke's gonna be healthy to play on this one. Dak has had a couple games back now to you know, get, get his feet wet. What do you think of this game, Char? The Cowboys coming to town, Packers. Boys Ice Bowl rematch. Aaron Rogers in this one as well. Coming into it, he's been critical of his teammates, hasn't taken a ton of responsibility. Things don't seem to be beautiful in Green Bay, but at the same time, he's had the Cowboys number in his career. Does his supremacy over Dallas continue this? Conventional wisdom says no. And and the way he's been playing and, and, and I'm, I'm like, with every passing week I've become less and less of a Uber Aaron Rogers fan that I was. And, you know, part of being the greatest quarterback of all time is, is having an intangible out there that that plays with his team and makes others around him play better. And being a great leader and, and, and he's displaying all the, you know, all the opposite factors that, that I believe make good players Great. So, and, and, and look, I've, I've, I've been a huge, huge Aaron bro. Yeah. For majority bones about it. Yeah. And, and, and it's, and I've just been disappointed, but having said that, if there's ever a game to get right against a good team where people can say, that was a state win, this is it at home, it's cold, is it gonna be snowing? Possibly? No. Is that, I think it's actually gonna be, That's a good question. Regardless, doesn't, doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. They're gonna be an album cold. I actually like that better. For Dallas, it's gonna be, it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be 35 degrees, but mostly, mostly like, you know what? Perfect football weather, then perfect football weather because you're in those paths and you're running around and, and and stuff. So yeah, if, if there's ever a game to get right, this is it. I just went ahead and I bet money on Green Bay to win it outright and I bet money also on Green Bay plus four. I'm just something and, and I don't know why. Maybe I like burning money. Maybe that's why I did it, but I went, I went ahead and did, just to tell you where I stand. It's hard to argue that because it seems like no matter what, Aaron Rogers always seems to own the Cowboys, right? I mean, and, and the Bears. Yeah. and the Bears. Yeah. And he told'em last year, I thing own you He said that I agree with you in the sense char, that if, if there was going to be a bounce back game, this would have to be like, like if they lost this game, you can probably put, put up the you know, white flag put up the nail in the coffin for the season. Right. Like, that's it. The tombstones going up for them. Okay. Right. So it's hard for me to think about that now. I've, I've always. Preferred playing the Packers in Green Bay and the Cowboys have had more, like the last win they got against them, they're six and one. The Packers are in their last seven games against the Cowboys. That one loss was in Green Bay, Zeke and Daks Rookie year when they were kind of a ground and pound and run first team. And then it was actually around this same time of year, the last time the Cowboys got the victory in Green Bay that they were playing. So it's kinda like that, that gloomy winter approaching type weather up in Green Bay. So I, I like that better than Rogers being in a dome because he's the more talented pastor in the game than Dak Prescott. I think being in, in nice conditions in a dome actually favors Green Bay more than it does Dallas, even though Dallas would be at home technically. So I, I, I've already liked that this game was in green, is gonna be in Green Bay. They've been a little vulnerable against the run, and that's what Dallas is gonna lean on. Zeke's Zeke's Healthy Pollard is who he is, averaging 6.2 yards of carry This. So I think that that does bode well for the Cowboys in that sense. And I think, I just think it's gonna be tough for Green Bay to block Dallas, like the Dallas front has gotten that for everybody this year. I just like, what have we seen from Green Bay that's really gonna get them, give, give confidence that they're gonna come out and be dominant in this game. Nothing, all that, all that I've got in my, in my bag on that side. He's always owned Dallas. He's always, he's always dominated that, right? No, no. But, but your question was what have they done this year to, to lead us to this conclusion? And I told you absolutely nothing. And I, I honestly, I'm, I'm wondering, do I, do I just really like burning money? Is that, is that why I be him? But something's telling me him and Sure. I love your take here. This is Mike Holmgren's reunion in Green Bay. He's got a, he's got a street named after him himself in Green Bay. Okay. Right. This is the first time he is coaching in green. Since getting fired you meant Mike McCarthy, Not Mike Hun. I'm sorry. I don't know why I said Mike McCarthy because Mike Hun also has a street named after him. He does, he does. Mike McCarthy, the Dallas Cowboys head coach. Coming back to town. This is a big one. How, if you're in the Cowboys locker room, how much. Does winning one for coach in this situation play into the, the, the narrative for the week? It depends on how the coach is liked and, and from. I mean, and look, I know you don't like him. I'm not exactly a fan of his, but, but since I saw him in hard knocks, I, I said, I like what he's doing. Do you remember that two years ago? I do. I said, believe it or not, I actually like what he's doing and, and say what you will about Mike McCarthy, the cowboy was what had one. There's six and four, two losses. Okay. And the one loss was Tampa. The first there was Tampa Bay. Right. And D played like garbage. Dag played like garbage. Was Philly. It was at Philly with Cooper Rush. So I mean Right. And still played well. And still played. Yeah. So say what you will about Mike McCarthy. He is, he's gotta be, I mean, look, he's not a bad. Karoshi. He's, he's been doing a good job. He's been doing a good job. I think. I think this, this is a big game for him. By the way, check this out. I want, I want, I wanna get your take on this. They actually asked Mike McCarthy about going back to Green Bay. This is a short clip. Check this out. I mean, a lifestyle in Dallas, Texas is incredible. I mean, this has been an incredible, incredible opportunity for us as a family. But, you know Jessica was born there, Kids were born there. is he crying? The best of people. Yeah. Yeah. He, he started, he got emotional, he got choked up talking about my family was, was raised there, kids were born there, you know So it was, That was genuine. That was genuine. That wasn't some bs No, he was, he got, he got legit and he was, he was trying, You could, I mean, it, it was audio club, but he was trying to hold the back and he, he couldn't, he couldn't anymore. So how could you as a player, if you like, Even if you're so, so about him, how can you not go out there for your coach and just play balls out? Yeah. Yeah. You would think, you would think, right? I mean, it's, it means a lot. And you know, people say in these situations, Oh, it's another game. We know it's not another game. Right? It's not, Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's not. Didn't they lose a playoff game there recently? The Cowboys? Well, the playoff game lost to the Packers last time was the, was the Des the Des caught it game. That was the one and they lost to the Packers in 2016. At, in Dallas. When That was the year that Cal was, was the number one seed Daken Zeke's rookie year. They had beat the Packers earlier that same season in Lambo, but the Packers beat them up in Dallas, in the playoffs. Unfortunately, what it mattered most. Right. So, but yeah, I mean, I mean, look, this is, this has gotta be a big, a big one for him. Like I said, they got a street name after him there. He won a Super Bowl there. He's the last Super Bowl champion coach in Green Bay. We'll see how they, how they receive him out. But and, and look, one of the reasons why he was gone and sent, sent out was because of his feud with Aaron Rogers. And he was saying he was playing nice. He's saying, Aaron and I still root for him. Keep in touch. He, he even said, But you know, I mean, he even said, Aaron's still playing at a very high level. Okay. Okay. So, so, so, right. Okay. So watching man. So right there, right there, that's coach speech for everything else that I'm saying is also a lie. straight up. Straight up. So look, look, but doesn't seem like maybe Aaron Rogers is the asshole in that situation. That's hard to work with. I mean, especially with how this year's gone and the way he's kind of the under the bus, it, it's, it's hard to argue that point, man. You, I mean, you might be right, might be right about that. It, it seems like that Aarons is a ul. Freaking, you know, elitist asshole that thinks his, that, that loves the smell of his own farts, And, and it's the opposite of, Here's what I say, it is the opposite of McCarthy in the sense that I would say the redeemable quality, and I know I've been Craig. The redeemable little quad Mike McCarthy has, He's like a blue collar guy. Yes. He's like, I've always looked at, I mean, and it's not surprising to me, he's always reminded me of kinda like a factory worker type guy. He's from Pittsburgh. He, he grew up in like next to his steel mill. You know, like he's just kinda that blue collar and he seems like the kind of guy who would like, I always see him and like the way he talks, I'm like, I feel like he, he's gotta kinda like work, work a deli counter. Like if I go to a deli, he can tell me what meat with what cheese is gonna pair. Well, you know, he's just that kinda get roast with the sharp cheddar, you know, it's like Right. Kinda got that. He's an offensive line, you know. He's an offensive lineman. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Any, and again, this is not my bias towards offensive linemen, the, the most stable. Likable people in any football team, and again, I'm painting a very big brush, here are the offensive linemen because gen look, inherently speaking offensive linemen cannot be selfish. It goes against every grainier existence. You play with pain. I've played with broken ribs, I've played with, I've played with two stress fractured ankle. Because my quarterback's like, I need you out there. Right there, there, there isn't probably a prideful bone in his body. Right. You, you, you have pride, but you're not prideful. Absolutely. Right? Right. Like, like what I mean is pride in is I'm better than somebody, I'm better than you cause I'm my status. Right. So that's why, that's why you, that's why, you know, he, he's likable. It's, it's, it's just who he is. And again, I'm a, I'm a look as big of a Tom Brady fan. You are. Split that in half. I'm probably half as much an Aaron Rogers. That's very so substantial Right? It's very substantial. So, you know but, but looking back and look, looking at common denominator of things that's happening, it seems like Anne Rogers a asshole. It does, it does seem that way. And we'll see, We'll see what, how this game goes, goes. But we know it's big for McCarthy. I think he said he had like 70, 80 tickets he's bought for friends and family to be at that game. So if he's gonna coach his butt off one game, this has gotta be the one. Absolutely. And, and, and you know what? And now I feel bad for betting that money against him because I'm gonna root. I'm gonna work for Michael McCarthy. Yeah. Wow. Wow. So I, I just, I just, I just threw away cold day in hell today. Huh? What? I said col a cold day in hell. Well, you've always, actually, to be fair to you, you've always defended him McCarthy When I, when I've chastised him? No. At first I was big time against him because of being such a huge Aaron Rogers fan. But when I saw him in practice, Yeah. I mean, look, that was a turning point for me. If, if you remember when there were hard knocks, I'm like, Kuru, I liked what he did. I kinda like him. Yeah, yeah. All right, man. Yeah, I think for me, I'll we'll end this one by saying, it's just, I, I'm traumatized by Aaron Rogers, but I think all the, all of the, the data. Says you gotta go with Dallas in this one and they should dominate. Yeah, you have to. You have to. But, but I'm, I'm not gonna, I can't count out Aaron Rods cuz of the way he's traumatized me in the guy's freaking good man. Like he's always, he's had our number, unfortunately. Kro here, here's, here's, here's the thing. I wish I wouldn't have made that bet. I wish I wouldn't have made that bet, but, Cause now you're gonna be conflict. Yeah. But now having said that, I mean, I get it. He's, he's still TalentWise one of the greatest. Well, and sure, I mean, if, if the Cowboys can't beat this version of Aaron Rogers and the Packers, I, I, I put up my white towel. That's it. I mean, I'm not gonna, Again, again, you did that. No, no. I'm saying in, I'm saying in terms of. Beating Aaron Rogers. Like, if I can't beat this version, then, then it's, then, you know, we can, it is probably gonna be like, same with Tom. They've never beat Tom Brady. You know, like it's, it's one of those things and they beat Aaron Rogers, but Aaron Rogers has had their number vastly compared to the Cowboys winning against him. So we'll see how it goes. But I'm gonna be watching very intently. Got this game has moved to the, to the afternoon hour. It's gonna be one of, I think, one of the only game on Fox at that time. It'll be, it'll be national televised. We'll see how that goes. Char your La Chargers. Sunday Night Football. Prime time at San Francisco. Justin Herbert's gonna be without his top two targets. Again, Keen and Allen, Mike Williams, both. I think Keenan and Allen is technically questionable, but he had a setback with the Hammi. Looking unlikely he's gonna be able to go for this one. And San Francisco, they're, they're coming off a bye. Christian McCaffrey had a great game. A Deebo Samuels healthy for this one. Kittles in AUC is in and the Niners are favored by seven. What do you what? What do you say about your chargers? Niners are four and four chargers, five and three, so charges come into this one with a better record, but I think some notable personnel differences here between both these teams could affect the outcome of this one course. I've, look, I'm calling this 49ers the second best team in the nfc. Even though they had, even when they had a lose, even though, even though they're the second best theme on paper in their division, but it's hard, it's hard to argue with, with adding McCaffrey. And that defense starting now, they, they, they did lose Jason Barret, Jason Barre, They're starting corner tours, Achilles in practice this week. Mm. So that's, that's a big one for them in their secondary, unfortunately. But they've always been able to have a solid defense, even when they lost their two starting defense events a couple years back. You know, they, they always generate a pass rush. Yeah. So, so look it's gonna be interesting to see 49ers are a seven point favorite, which is enormous. Enormous for, you know I, it's, it. Honestly, even if the, even if the 49ers were playing the Eagles, I don't know which way I would go. This is how, this is how high I think of the 49ers. So I actually, I agree with you I agree with you. I, I, it is, I'm gonna really watch this game and I'm glad it's in primetime game because I want to see Christian McCaffrey versus Christian McCaffrey Jr being Austin Eclo. Yeah. I mean, you know, and Chargers run day has been garbage this year, so I expect him to be able to run the. Yeah. And, and so look what? Austin Eckler's just amazing. He's just an unsung hero year after year after year after Bull Bull. You know what he reminds me of? Do you remember that? That actually he used to be in the Chargers and he went to the Panthers after. Remember Mike Tober? The Oh yeah. Oh, he's way more dynamic than, Oh, I know, that's what I'm saying, but like, like, like a quicker, more dynamic like the bowling ball style, but like a, with a, kinda a slashing ability too. It's kinda same skill. And look, by the way, in case you're not following him on Instagram, he's a really great follow. He's interesting. He's funny, he's quirky. Yeah. He's just, it is just very likable. And look, you can't look the, the, you always went in doubt. You go with the quarterback and you know, obviously Justin Herbert being who he is. But again, I, I think the 49ers are too much of a match for him. I, I see 49ers just running away. I shockingly think the charters are gonna cover. I who? No, they might, they might. But who is the best player on, on, on either team? Christian, careful. I think it's Justin Herbert. I, I get what you're saying, but I think, I still think it's Justin Herbert. It's, it's close. Yeah. But can, can you guarantee me that, that that coach is not gonna No, I can't, sta is a joke. Okay. You're right. With that said, I still like this. Now look, unfortunately, looks like Joey Boa is gonna be out. Oh wow. Joon Kinlaw for the Niners is also gonna be out, but, but we're not gonna see Bo all because one of the bosa is gonna be, is gonna be missing. Right. Unfortunately. So that's certainly gonna have an effect. Keen and Allen, technically Shar is day to day. And look, Palmer's a pretty good piece of bread. Palmer's nice. Palmer's nice. Gerald d the tight end's come along. Let's be honest. I'm sure Justin Herbert would love to have his two targets. Mike Williams and Tina Allen out there, but, but I still say you've got the best player between other team at the most important position. He's gonna keep a minute and I think the charge will ultimately cover, but the Niners are gonna get the win is, is how I see this one shake out. Sure. A few more match of games here and there. Cleveland going to Mi Cleveland hosting Miami. Denver, traveling off to Tennessee interesting games, Washington, Philadelphia. Anything you wanna say about any of those games? Yeah, it's first of all, again, this, this, I could be completely wrong, but I, I think this is a game that Russell Wilson and that Denver starts clicking. I just, I just have a feeling it might be this week or next week. I, I, by the end of the year, I have a feeling that Russell Wilson's gonna be vindicated as, as, as the right choice for Broncos. And the other thing is, look, if Philly's not careful, if Philly is not careful, they're gonna trap game, trap game. Well look, yeah. Washington Washington's four and five. Okay. If they can hang on to a double digit lead in the fourth quarter against Minnesota, they would've rattled off four straight. After starting off one and four, they would've been five and four. If they, if they, And that coincides with Taylor Heineke. It does. And look, Taylor Heineke, he's, he's the closest thing that I've seen Tobo in terms of the effect that he has unexplainable right. You don't know how, because we can all see, he's not a better quarterback than Carson went or all these other guys, but for some reason he's gutsy. And, and that translates into an emotion that's, that's, that's infect infectious. I'm telling you, that translates into, you know, I, I play for guys like that where they come in the huddle and they just, something happens. The energy, the excitement, the belief, and, and if Philly's not careful, they're gonna lose. Look, we didn't talk about those Rams cardinals, which were supposed to be a big one for both these teams in terms to get their season back contract. Matthew Stafford entered into the concussion protocol a couple days ago, so his status very much in question for this one, which means what char we might see again. Mr. John Wilford, the Wolf of Ball Street. I remember you remember. I like him. I like him. That's what I dubbed him. But let's be honest, I mean, he's, he's not gonna be Matt Stad, but the Wolf of Ball Street has, has shown he's capable when he is been in there. And limited action. Look. And, and Tyler Murray was also, I think he had a hammi issue going on too. So this might be Colt McCoy versus John Wolffer in this one. And honestly, Kuro, I'm telling you, this might be a. Where both teams are better off with their backups than their starters. I'm, I'm not saying that the backups are better, but if you recall when golf got hurt three years ago and, and Wilford came in and the Rams all of a sudden started clicking, I think that facilitated the, the coach McVey McVey saying, I'm just a quarterback away from being really. Yeah, that, that facilitated mcbe saying quarterback. You realized, and, and look, McCoy was two one when Murray was hurt last year. Was it last year or two years ago? No, it was, it was last year. It was last year. So, so look, I honestly. The way, the way things are going. Look, Stafford isn't right. We knew Stafford was hurt. His shoulder was his throwing shoulder was bothering him preseason. Do you remember that? He, he was, he came into the season with a, with a, with a shoulder concern. So this might be a situation where running quarterback like Wilford could actually give them an edge. Yeah, you're right. He could. He very well could. We'll see how that one shakes out, Char. That's all we got this week, man. It'll be fun. We'll be interesting. We'll see, man. A lot of injuries, some stuff up in the. But it's gonna be a fun week of football, man. But it's always fun doing with you, buddy, and we'll be back to recap the action that was come next week. Looking forward to it, man. Yes sir. Good talking to you, man. Always.
