If you asked 10 random people in your church whether they could memorize a chapter of the Bible, chances are all 10 would say, "No way!" But ask those same 10 people if they could sing their favorite song, and they'd likely respond with an enthusiastic, "Of course!"
Somehow, the enemy has convinced us that memorizing Scripture is only for the gifted few. Yet for centuries, memorization was the primary way people accessed God's Word. It wasn’t until the 1500s that technology made printed Bibles widely available.
This lie — that memorization is impossible for most — is what we call the "Great Deceit". In this podcast series, we’ll pull back the curtain and show you that everyone can memorize Scripture — yes, even you!
