Peter “H” is a disruptive educator.
He has a business acumen built from multiple industries, 20 years teaching experience, and hosting a dope successful podcast. He has a mindset and insight that I was drawn to from our first time meeting. Today we discussed education, life, and business, yet barley scratched the surface. We dove into how students learn, the good and bad of traditional education, ed tech, pushing limits, and how we can all come together to achieve a better curriculum and outcome for students. We are about to embark on a project together and are excited to discuss that in a Part 2. We hope this leads to the next generation of student development.
As many of you know my "traditional education" journey was a struggle to say the least. I learned nearly everything the hard way. I couldn't relate to, nor get interested in school. No one helped me connect the dots or understand the why. I didn't have anyone help me find what I was good at. I had to do it later in life, on my own, and after wasting a lot of time and money. I wish I had a teacher like Peter when I was young. Let's collaborate with those change agents that make sure each student, at each school, regardless of interests, ability, or income, has the knowledge to succeed.
