[00:00:00] Hello and welcome back to the podcast for soulful Women in Business, and this week I am going solo ladies. With the absolute success of the past five months, I wanted to record a episode for you to break down a roadmap that is specifically designed to get you paid speaking in 2026 , if speaking isn't part of your strategy for 2026, then it absolutely needs to be because AI can pretty much do everything for you these days.

You know, it can create your content, it can create your copy. You know, the other day it actually. Created me a [00:01:00] document and I could just save it onto my laptop. I mean, AI is doing some absolutely incredible things, but what it has created is a lot of people claiming that they are experts. But obviously they are getting AI to do the work for them, and you've got these overnight pop-up experts.

But obviously if you are going to events, if you are using public speaking and you are getting out there and networking, which is some of the things that I'm gonna showcase to you in this roadmap and throughout this session. Because this is a bit of a session within the podcast for you to really dig into.

So I know that you are here because you are a conscious. Female founder, you wouldn't be listening to this podcast unless you were, and I know that you already [00:02:00] understand energetics and identity work. I know that you already believe in manifestation and spiritual alignment, although some of you, when I talk to you, you say that you've done money mindset work, but you are still massively.

Massively undercharging. Specifically when it comes to public speaking. You are traveling miles and miles to go to event, , speak for free, and you don't have enough a suite that is making you money yet. I know that you already. Facilitate transformation. You're not just pl out information. I know that you've got clients.

I know that you do the work and I know that sometimes you get told or you might believe yourself that you are just too wi woo or too weird for. Getting paid to speak. Well, I'm here to tell you in this short masterclass that that is absolute [00:03:00] BS and Soul Speaks is such a celebration of this, and I can honestly say with both hands on my heart that the world is waking up because of AI and because of.

Information overload. You can Google how to become a millionaire. You can find strategies left, right, and center. But when it comes to alignment, taking action, overcoming limiting beliefs with identity work, everybody's craving for the woo. Guys, it's our fricking time. So let's step up and let's get paid in the process.

So it is honestly a lie that has been fed to us for a very long time. That Woo is weird, but it, we have come such a long way. I have been talking about manifestation [00:04:00] about the phases of womanhood and all things, woo, for six years. When I used to go into a room at a business event and talk about. The A CIC records or past life regression, people would give me that side high, weird look.

And now people look genuinely excited that I'm talking about these things. So the world's. Is really shifting and the speaking industry has shifted. Audiences are really burned out from strategy and information. I mean, come on. We've all been there. We've been to events where it's just talking about facts and tactics and the fact is that.

We all know that dancing movements, mathematics, breath work, all things that I had at my event in October are things that are gonna help you to [00:05:00] reach peak performance that are actually going to, if somebody is hosting a event in 2026, they are 100% going to want people there to activate the room.

, After somebody has taught heavily strategy, because obviously we do need, both people are absolutely exhausted from surface level motivation. They are craving depth, soul, and transformation. So as an event organizer myself, obviously I am somebody that is a thought leader. I am the one who has paved the way for other event leaders and it's so exciting to see now even a friend that I met in Iha through her attending my event, and I'm going up to her award ceremonies in at the end of November.

She has got. [00:06:00] Lots of exciting somatics and entertainment at her event. So events organizers are seeking speakers who understand nervous system regulation.

They want leaders who facilitate identity level shifts. They want experts in energetic alignment and embodied leadership, and the woo inverted commas that creates lasting change. They want the magic in the room, guys. So finally. Our Woo is our competitive advantage. It makes us unique. It makes us stand out in the room ,

But most conscious leaders that I know because I've done the homework, so part of what I teach in my business Mastermind, which [00:07:00] is the Soul Speaks Academy. Before I created that, I did a lot of market research. Okay? And this is something that I teach my clients to do. You know, you never wanna make an offer for your audience if you don't do the part first, where you really research what do people actually want?

Before you sell them it, then unfortunately you are going to struggle to sell it. So before I create anything, I do my market research and this includes, I go to lots of business retreats.

I get invited to events. I do a lot of networking and I actually ask people the questions. So recently I've really doubled down on what is it that. Up and coming speakers or current speakers [00:08:00] really want the support with and the areas that they are stuck in. And what I have found is that a lot of speakers, especially women that are conscious leaders, heart led leaders, purpose driven leaders, people that are doing identity work with their clients, healing work with their clients, they are.

Service-based providers, and they are looking for stages so that they can sell their services off the back of that, or they believe that the visibility is somehow going to make themselves and they don't even know how to sell. That's a podcast for another day. But what I've found is that a lot of you are speaking for free.

Or you are paying to play. I don't have a problem with paying to play. That is part of my business model for the Soul Speaks Academy. But what I do have an [00:09:00] issue with is companies or event hosts that are doing pay to play, but they know that the speaker isn't right for the audience or they're just trying to fill a.

Speaking slot, that isn't what Soul Speaks is about,

so when you are researching stages to go onto whether there's a fee or whether it's free, the first thing you really wanna ask yourself is, is this audience right for me? Is my ideal client going to be in this audience? Okay.

So another thing, speaking to you gorgeous lot and asking you what you actually really need and areas that you are stuck, is that you want to seem professional. So you leave out your weirdness, ,

your unique edge because you wanna come across as professional. The other thing that I know that you need support with, undercharging [00:10:00] obviously you've got different fees that you would charge, and this is definitely something that I teach inside of my programs, like to find what is the correct fee for the audience you're going to speak with.

And obviously if you're going to a small networking event, that's going to be less. If you're speaking to a global corporate company, you should be commanding 5K as a minimum for your speaking fee.

The other thing that I have found through speaking to you is. You know, just hoping and praying by attending events without any strategy behind your story or any formula behind your strategy that you're going along and you're friend zoning yourself instead of actually having a strategy and standing out, you are ending up, [00:11:00] consuming and buying from the audience rather than going there with a strategy to actually stand out.

Get noticed by the event hosts or the speakers who probably run their own events. So let's actually get stuck into how I created over a hundred K in revenue in just the last five months so I'm gonna break it down for you. And we are also going to attach some. Social proof for you to view in the show notes of the episode, because obviously right now with AI, there is a little bit of a, um, what I'm, I'm hearing from a lot of you is there's a lot of distrust of like what is real and what isn't, and a hand on my heart, everything that I'm telling you right now.

Is genuine is what we've actually achieved. I'm really proud of this and it is actually the first time that I've broken it down in this way [00:12:00] because I've gotta be honest with you, I'm not really the greatest fan of looking at all the numbers. It doesn't get my juices flowing if you get me, but I know that it is so important for you to actually start to see, , the numbers and how it all works for you to actually start to make these type, these kind of numbers work for you, and if I can do it and I've built my business.

And I've beavered away for the last five years, and this is possible for you guys. This is how I've built my multi six figure business, and I wanna share it with you because I know that you can do this.

Okay. If I can do it, you can too. We have had over the past five months, first of all, I wanna share how we did it. And then I'm gonna share, share with you what we actually did. The seven major visibility pillars that we have [00:13:00] really focused on over the past six months. So from May until now, is number one.

And I know a lot of you that will be listening to this and, , that you probably came to my visibility challenge, , in September. So again, you would've actually seen about. I talk a lot there about positioning, how to position yourself, how to actually directly speak to your ideal client that is ready to pay.

So you stop getting on those calls where they're like, I can't afford it, or, yeah. Or that, or you have, or you have something else that's going on there. So how do we do that? Number one. I had people always say this to me, , Laura, your social media is just so consistent. Like you are always online that I'm just see you [00:14:00] everywhere.

And for me, a non-negotiable for me is six posts a week, and it is really positioning myself as the UK's leading brand for conscious leadership. It is really showcasing why I am the one in the UK for that. And then pillar number two is personal outreach. So this is through reaching out to other event organizers, people that are in the service space sector that are.

Great to have as collaborations. As partnerships and that host events that I can pitch to speak at their events. These are all things that we've been implementing and, and I'm gonna tell you there's that number of how many [00:15:00] collaborations that I've done actually. Over the last six months, so got attending events and collaborating with business owners within my niche and field, and some of them actually not even in my niche and field this year.

There's been a minimum of two of those per month.

And hosting my own summit, which had 14 speakers in March. So that was a collaboration with 14 other business owners. , Number three, we had, so I regularly attend events and offline networking, so I'm gonna bang this drum really, really hard for you. Get in the room, guys. Get in the room and have up your [00:16:00] sleeve.

Your, I don't like to call it elevator pitch 'cause it's very masculine and I just, ugh, gives me the ick. But have something that you have practiced that really helps you to stand out. And by the way, ,, if you didn't attend my.

Still the stage super connector session. There are gonna be other opportunities to join. Join us for that. And in that I share with you the golden circle method of how to introduce yourself to really stand out. And if you attended my event in October, you will already know that 'cause I shared that on day one.

Okay? Get in the room, get notice, get seen, get heard, get paid. No, that's number three. And me personally, I make sure I get to events and I travel. I mean, this year I've traveled to ibi a. [00:17:00] I was paid to go to YBA. To be fair, I have gone to Cheshire, which was an eight hour drive for me, and because of my A DHD, it was actually after a Hindu, which I wouldn't recommend.

Guys, obviously I didn't drink. I went straight from a Hendu and drove to Cheshire from Brighton, which,, that's probably a podcast in itself. I, I don't mind traveling. Like I would say that just get out of your own way. Get out there. If you want a really recognized national brand, get out of your town city.

Like it's not gonna happen there. Guys. Get out of the town. Start traveling around. Get get yourself out there. Number four, live talks that showcase your death. And this one's so easy. You can do this on Instagram, on Facebook, and if you are still scared of getting yourself on a live, [00:18:00] you really need to book a call with me.

We need to get you visible on your, on your socials. People need to know it's you. They need to see you speak. They need to feel your energy, right. And also collaborate with people. Ask them, do you need support? Find somebody that is a good strategic move. You know, if you are a female empowerment coach, find menopause coaches.

Find fitness instructors that you can go in and speak to their audience and share their audience, which actually kind of spews into a, into another pillar. Okay? So once you have a funnel. That works. So when I say funnel that it doesn't mean something really complicated. It can just be. Book a call with me.

That's a funnel, okay? Once you have something that's working for you, it's getting someone either on a call, on an email sequence and they are already paying [00:19:00] and you haven't, you haven't had to use any ads. Please, please, please, I really stress this. Do not put ads onto something that isn't working because you might as well just chuck your money in, in the bin or in the toilet, so paid.

Ads and I, yeah, do not put page ads on until you know that what you do works. 'cause I've done it. I've done this the hard way guys, and I'm just, yeah, I'm trying to, I'm trying to save you some money here. Pillar number six. And these, this is, and again, sorry, back jumping to number five for me, paid ads. So we have had.

Paid ads consistently running. I mean, people, people, I've just met that, oh, I just added you on Facebook. Oh my God. How many ads have you got? Yeah, they're springing up everywhere because they work. Right. So that's because I tested it. So we've had those switched on five months consistently and. [00:20:00] I will do another episode to talk more about paid ads, because right now you are, if you are not using ads, then your audience is only seeing only 3% of your audience is seeing your content.

If you are using social media, obviously that boost. If you've got an email list, email list, guys, email lists., We tested it, it worked. So we use it. Number six, I. Is audience sharing with other people that you know do similar, if not the same. You have to be careful with that one guys. , You have to make sure that their values align with yours and use your discernment. If somebody collaborates [00:21:00] with you and they recommend you, that is an absolute game changer for your business, especially if they've got a really engaged audience. So obviously for me right now, my audience are so engaged, like they're so, I, I love you guys. I fricking love you guys that I just wanna say this actually, thank you so much for.

Your support, your love, your comments, your attendance of my events. Like I fricking love you guys. I really do. And, and as you know, if I bring in somebody as an expert onto my. My summits or onto my stages or onto my whatever, then you trust them much, much faster because you, we've got this great relationship.

And that goes the same for you. You know that they get involved, you know that they're engaged, then [00:22:00] Yeah. Collaborate. The best form of marketing is referrals. What is a really great one for that is summits speak on summits.

Run your own summits. As you know, I do one and there's another one in March. So if you wanna apply to be a speaker at the summit, then we do have some spaces left. Okay. Number seven, this podcast thing. So you are listening to my podcast right now, either creating your own or reaching out and positioning yourself with you and you what? What is the one thing that you are the go-to expert within your field and then yeah, position yourself. Get the PR for either speaking on a podcast or why don't you start your own babes.

[00:23:00] I'm doing all of those seven things and I've been doing those things consistently for, well, two years, but over this, I'm just focusing on the last six months because we've made just over a hundred K in revenue in that time.

So broken down. The last month is where we got the bulk of that. We did a 47,000 pound launch in October. I'm just gonna say that it is the biggest launch that I've ever personally done 

Let's talk numbers. , Through paid ads, collaborations with highly successful influencers, celebrities, and business owners, we had 750,000 [00:24:00] people viewing through our social channels. That includes Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. As our main social media handles, we had 25,000 people click into the website. We had 78 paying event guests paying anywhere between 111 pounds and 999 pounds. We had 14 sponsors paying anywhere between 1,800 pounds and 3,500 pounds each.

We had six vendors paying 500 pounds each. We had five mastermind members, which , [00:25:00] paid 5,500 pounds each one. One to one client paying 12,000 pounds. We had

one mastermind client that came in for one year paying 8,000 pounds. , I had one speaking gig at 5,000 pounds. One speaking gig at 3,500 pounds and another speaking gig for 500 pounds. That was just in the last five months through using that strategy. So. You can really see how we've turned the visibility, which actually in the numbers game, 25,000 website visitors and converting those into just shy of a hundred clients.[00:26:00] 

It isn't actually that high of a conversion rate, which is something that we actively, as a company, are looking to improve. And we do this by improving our funnels, and I really like to be completely transparent with you because I think that's really important, but just. Through thinking about 25,000 people clicked into the website, and we still now have, we are still now working on the other side of that, how we can still convert those people into paying clients.

Okay. That is absolutely credible through public speaking . this isn't luck. This is through systems. So I wanna get you thinking about you and your business, which is why you are here. So why do I actually wanna get [00:27:00] visible and who is my ideal client that would want to book me? I want you to start to think about that.

. Go back and look at the seven pillar visibility system. Question number two is how do you create your own opportunities? Instead of waiting to be chosen like I did, I created my own stage so that then that rippled out, and then event organizers started to see me as somebody with a big platform. You know, 25,000 people have clicked to the website. They're like, this woman's got some power behind her.

Let's get her onto our stage so she can drive her audience over here. Events give you social proof, testimonials, photos, videos, relationships. [00:28:00] These are all things that I would love for you to think about, not through only attending events yourself, having the right words to say to stand out, but also start to think about creating your own small events. And then number question number three is how do I turn my visibility that I currently have?

Because there are people in your audience right now that want to pay you for your services. Or to get you onto their stage with what you have right now, i'm gonna finish on this, that when all of the seven pillars work together, you stop chasing an opportunity start to chase you. So I wanna give you the roadmap for 2026 to work with me and take this a step further. So as I said in my pillar one, like get you consistent on social media, but not posting your food or your dog, unless it's, unless it's something that is tying into why people need to book you or pay you for your services.

To create your personal outreach s system, so, so that you can start to [00:30:00] collaborate with people and to, and to design your own signature event. What we're gonna do in months two to three is your visibility and execution. So we're gonna launch your consistent social media presence. We're gonna. Begin to, like Karen in the testimonial videos, which I can send you, she began to outreach to partners and she, that's how she started to secure her paid speaking opportunities. I've actually got a little black book of people that I've. , That are in my network that are looking for collaborators and they host their own events and networking events. So I'm gonna give you access to that. And also if you want to learn how to host your own signature event, get you to be the go-to expert, the only [00:31:00] one in your field that people are like, yes, that's what that person does, and they start to recommend and refer you.

Months, three to four, we're gonna amplify you. We are gonna get you onto podcasts. We're gonna get you paid speaking gigs. We're gonna get you the free speaking gigs as well, because you're gonna have an office suite that is gonna pop and people are going to, it is gonna be streamlined. People are gonna wanna pay you.

We're also going to launch your audience sharing partnership. So we're going to create something that is going to be consistent throughout your content. So people are gonna know you for what you do, and they're gonna wanna come and share their audience with you. And the same vice versa. We're gonna create you a PR kit and a show, a show reel to really stand out.

And then months four to six is we're gonna scale and monetize. So we're gonna test your [00:32:00] funnels and we are going to make sure that they're working, create your webinar or your signature talk. And then once we know that that works organically, we can start to place ads on it so that we can get it more visible.

We're also going to. Get you to pitch to five to 10 speaking opportunities so we get you booked and paid. We're also gonna build a booking system that is so magnetic, and then once we do that, we are gonna rinse and repeat. Okay, and then we are going to generate between 15 and 30 K through these systems and speaking opportunities included. At the moment, I'm offering you a vendor's. Stand at my event next October.

There are only 10 spaces available. All of this combined is worth over 9,000 pounds, and currently [00:33:00] it's 1,500 pounds as the founder's rate until the 21st of September. So through our six months together, you are gonna have 25 plus authority post published. You're gonna have 10 to 15 strategic partnerships built.

You're gonna have your own successful event hosted. You're gonna have eight to 15 confirmed speaking engagement on and offline. You're gonna have 15 to 30 K in speaking revenue. Through your streamlined services and paid events, and you're going to also have a professional PR kit and show real. So to take the next step, all you need to do is make the choice.

Is it choice one, feel inspired and then go back to sporadic post and waiting for the opportunities to [00:34:00] knock?
