Jackson OKs $13.65M budget

JACKSON — Jackson’s City Council approved a .65 million budget for fiscal-year 2026 Monday. By state law, the new fiscal year for municipalities begins on Oct. 1. The city’s budget of ,656,850 is a slight increase over the 2025 fiscal year budget and includes the general fund and fire department.
