Clarke Prep mourns loss of student killed in ATV crash

Clarke Prep seventh grader Jase Tucker Smith died in an ATV accident on Sept. 20, according to the school. “We are all heartbroken by this news,” Clarke Prep Headmaster Bob Taylor said in a statement. “Jase’s absence on our campus and in our lives will be strongly felt.” Taylor said Smith’s death will deeply affect Clarke Prep’s students, staff and families. “We are committed to providing the support needed during this difficult time,” Taylor said. “Counselors and ministers will be on campus and are prepared to stay as long as needed.
