Nominate now for Slayton

Nominations are being accepted for the Eddie Slayton Memorial Award, which recognizes a lifetime of service to the children of Clarke, Washington and Choctaw counties. The award is named for the late Eddie Slayton, a longtime member of the Regional Child Advocacy Center’s Board of Directors and a dedicated advocate of children in the three-county area. The award will be presented on March 7 at the annual banquet at the H.G. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson. Last year’s winner was Rachael Copeland.
