Jack Leonard Howell Sr., 87, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Homewood, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 31, 1938, in Jackson and was a longtime resident of Vestavia Hills. Jack was a proud graduate of Jackson High School and The University of Alabama. He built along and successful career, beginning with Clarke-Washington EMC, then Square Dand later Schneider Electric, where he retired. Jack was a devoted husband to his wife, BarbaJack was a devoted husband to his wife, Barbara Chastain Howell. He was a loving father to his sons, Jack Leonard “Len” Howell Jr....
