JACKSON — Jackson city officials said on March 10 that police will begin monitoring an area where residents have complained that drivers are running through stop signs. Residents were also told they can submit a petition requesting a speed bump. One resident who lives near the intersection of Center Street and Linden Street told councilmembers drivers frequently run stop signs at the intersection, creating a dangerous situation for families living nearby.
