Authorities are continuing to investigate a crash in Jackson that claimed the life of a Coffeeville man last week. According to Jackson police, Tykwon Latrell Armstrong, 21, was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash March 24 on Center Street. Jackson Police Chief Jerry Taylor said officers responded to the scene at 11:02 a.m. and found Armstrong conscious and alert when first responders arrived. Armstrong was transported to Jackson Medical Center and later airlifted to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile, where he died from his injuries, Taylor said.
