Grove Hill hospital at risk of closure?

The administrator of the Grove Hill Rural Emergency Hospital said cutbacks on services that resulted in significant savings for the facility were not considered in a recent news story that reported it is one of the three in Alabama at risk of closing. Public Citizen, a progressive nonprofit group, released a report of hospitals in danger of closing due to cuts to Medicaid as a result of the Big Beautiful Bill.
