Child sex crime nets 10-year term

A Citronelle man who was found guilty in May of soliciting a person he believed to be a 12-year-old child has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison. Charleston Bernard White, 27, was convicted of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child and was sentenced by Washington County Circuit Judge J. Perry Newton on June 26 to two 10-year sentences to run concurrently. White must also register as a sex offender in Alabama.
