Dr. Chloe Roberson Wofford has been named the new director of the Washington County Public Library and she began on Monday. Wofford, 34, brings an extensive background in higher education, library services, research and community engagement along with a long-standing connection to Washington County. Wofford succeeds long-time director Dr. Jessica Ross, whose 22 years of leadership helped establish the library as one of the county's premier educational and community resources.
