With heavy hearts, the family of Kayrean Baggett announces her passing. Kayrean was a beloved mother, devoted friend and cherished member of the Jackson community. She was born Jan. 20, 1940, to Bernie McCorkel and Ettie Silcox McCorkel. Kayrean’s journey through life touched all who knew her, leaving footprints of love and warmth wherever she roamed. She peacefully departed this world on July 26, 2026, at age 86, to join her beloved husband, with whom she shared more than 62 joyful years of marriage.
