In this episode of USMLE Connection, produced by NBME Communications, Mike Barone, MD, MPH, Vice President, Licensure for NBME, and Dave Johnson, Senior Vice President for Assessment Services at Federation of State Medical Boards, discuss the United States Medical Licensing Exam® (USMLE®) program and their thoughts on the Invitational Conference on USMLE Scoring (InCUS).On March 11-12, 2019, representatives of medical regulation and medical education will come together for a discussion about numeric score reporting on the USMLE program. InCUS is designed to consider the exam’s primary purpose of medical licensure in the context of recent concerns raised by some in the community of medical education.
