Builder of All Things | Episode #023 | "Making a Stand!" w/ Richie Breaux
Welcome back friends! We've been busy lately, but we want to apologize and thank you for your patience. It's been a busy season, and we're just getting back from it. We have some exciting news to share with you today. We were approached by a big production company who saw some of our work and wanted to collaborate with us. It's been quite a journey, and we can't wait to tell you all about it.
In this episode, we dive into our experience working with the production company and the process of developing a TV show. We discuss the reasons behind our reservations, especially regarding privacy and the impact on our family. While one of us is more comfortable with being in front of the camera, the other has reservations and concerns about the attention that comes with it.
We share the excitement of getting the initial phone call and how it led to months of interviews, videos, and pitching ideas. The production company was impressed with our work and saw the potential for a show based on our processes in Hawaii. We go behind the scenes of the filming process, from meeting the crew to experiencing the energy drain that comes with being in front of the camera.
The discussion also touches on the challenges we faced, including managing our energy levels, balancing multiple projects, and navigating the ever-changing market. We talk about the internal struggles and the decision-making process that eventually led us to say yes to this opportunity.
Join us as we reflect on this incredible experience and share the lessons we've learned along the way. We discuss the importance of finding the right balance between pursuing opportunities and protecting our values and privacy. Tune in to this episode to hear the inside story of our journey with the production company and what it means for the future of ATN Boat.
This podcast ran longer than we anticipated so we split it into 2 parts!
