Everyone is working hard today. This is a great time to be saying thanks. Not just to your sales reps, but to the rest of your team. The people stocking the shelves and picking orders, those processing the paperwork and supporting your buyers on the phone. What are you doing to ensure all members of your team are happy and satisfied? Join me as I share ideas for thanking the rest of your team (not just your reps) for the critical contributions they are making to your team’s success. After all, it takes an entire team – sales reps and support – to sell even more!

Have you been thanking the rest of your sales team lately? Hi, I'm Jim Pancero, helping you become a stronger leader of your sales team. And I watch a lot of my clients, the managers, spend a lot of time thanking and putting in a lot of attention on the sales reps, but the support team doesn't get to get a lot of attention. What are you doing to make sure that all members on the support team, whether it's your delivery drivers, the people picking inventory out in your warehouse, the inside sales people taking orders or maintaining processing of orders. All of these people are critical to the support and the success of your entire sales team. But a lot of times they don't get a lot of attention.

This might be a great time of year just to reach out to those people and to make sure they understand how important they are to you and how much you appreciate all the efforts and hard work they put in to keep your customers satisfied and stocked with all the items that you sell.

We're in a very high change environment. They're calling this the era of the great resignation because so many people are unhappy and they're looking to change jobs when they aren't satisfied with what they're doing. This is a critical time to be reaching out to all of the support people that help your sales reps be successful to make sure they understand that they're appreciated, that they're valued, and that they're listened to, or otherwise you might be starting to interview a lot of new people.

Would love to know what you're doing to make sure you keep all of your people happy and satisfied and how you maintain morale within your team, especially the support side. Thanks for checking out my podcast. I'm posting two new podcasts each week, all aimed at helping you and your team increase your selling competitive advantage.
