Lagniappe means "a little something extra" in Louisiana and we go extra deep into the ideas and decisions that shape political news.Logo: Our logo is an old Catholic symbol of paternalism that Louisiana adopted on its flag where a mother bird, in our case a brown pelican that is colored white for... reasons, is tearing from her breast to feed her hungry children. We like it because it was adopted in a time when Louisiana was much more leftist in caring for its people.
