Liz Pocock grew up in Needles, California, where her entrepreneurial spirit was ignited by her parents, who owned a pharmacy and farm. After completing her education in human development and anthropology, she pivoted to law, focusing on international business. Her journey brought her to Tucson, where she has shaped Startup Tucson for nearly a decade.
The work being done at Startup Tucson is a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives in fostering innovation. As Liz Pocock leads the charge, the organization continues to shape the future of entrepreneurship in Southern Arizona, proving that with the right support, anyone can turn their ideas into reality.
