Luke 1:46-55

In Luke 1, Mary receives quite shocking news, that she’s about to be pregnant. It’s hard to imagine what she could have felt as she received this news. But Mary does not make it about her. She starts her song by singing, “My soul magnifies the Lord.”

In your life, how can your soul magnify the Lord?

You can’t read very far in Luke without seeing Jesus bless somebody. You won’t go more than a few verses without seeing Jesus bless someone with a kind word or help someone who society had overlooked. Jesus sees: the other, the overlooked, and the obvious.

The real joy of following Jesus is following Jesus, to follow in His footsteps, to see what He did, and to act just like Him.
