In this episode we meet Corinne Prevot the founder of Skida, and her mom Margie. Skida is a Vermont based gear and apparel company that is known for their colorful neck gaiters, headbands, and other outdoor accessories.
Corrine and Margie walk us through Skida’s origins story, starting when Corrine was a high school student and ski racer in Vermont. We hear about the very first Skida hats and how Corinne later balanced entrepreneurship, skiing, and studies at Middlebury College (with a lot of help from her mom).
Skida gives back to the outdoor community, both big and small with partnerships ranging from local ski programs to the US Ski Team.
We loved learning about the Skida +1 program where for every Alpine or Nordic Hat purchase that is placed with a Skida Plus One promotional code, Skida will donate one hat to the corresponding cancer center.
