Meet Jay Sefton
Survivor. Mental Health Counsellor. Actor. Playwright.

Jay was chosen to play “Jesus” in the Passion Play by a priest in the catholic church. He was 13 years old.

He was so thrilled to be selected, as he always wanted to be an actor. What was to follow were years of sexual abuse from this priest which took place not only within the vestibule but also on camping and ski trips.

Jay is now a renowned playwright and actor. If you’d like to connect with him or see his latest play called Unrecognised, visit his website at https://www.unreconciledtheplay.com/, or follow him on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/unreconciledtheplay/. Alternatively, you can email him at unreconciled@gmail.com.
