In a shocking turn of events at the United States Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were both disqualified from the race, sending shockwaves through the Formula 1 community, leaving fans and experts stunned.... and certain podcasters having to record twice!

The controversy began when race stewards found irregularities with the planks reviewed from both the Mercedes and Ferrari cars. This violation of the technical regulations led to the immediate disqualification of Hamilton and Leclerc, who had originally finished 2nd and 6th in the race, respectively.

Max Verstappen celebrated his 50th Formula 1 victory in front of the less than enthusiastic American fans.

Meanwhile, we discuss McLaren, who had been Verstappen's closest competitors in the early part of the race, and question whether they conceded without much of a fight?

Another notable aspect of the race weekend was the requirement around "keeping to the delta" in Qualifying. We look into if this requirement has solved anything, or only made things worse?

We also break down the lap one incident between Oscar Piastri and Esteban Ocon and Logan Sargeants first ever points in F1!
