Don't Judge the Cover

Today, my guest is someone I had the opportunity to meet at a bodybuilding show in Orlando, Florida. His name is Chris Spruell, and from the first time I met him, I knew there was something special about him. 

Chris is a 35-year-old servant of God, father, and fitness guru who is also on a mission to share his testimony to help others in their journeys. 

We chatted briefly, but he was competing that day, so we didn't have many conversations at first. However, when he returned, he did it with a prophecy that spoke to me. He didn't know me from Eve, but he said the Holy Spirit placed something on his heart that he needed to share. 

While I can't tell you exactly what he said right now, I can tell you it was RIGHT ON TIME. I needed to hear it. It was encouraging and uplifting. As someone who encourages and uplifts others regularly, I need encouragement, also. I was so grateful for the words that came out of his mouth. We prayed together in the middle of a hallway at a bodybuilding show. That goes to show the Holy Spirit is everywhere. 

Chris shares his story of all the barriers he's had to break to get where he is today. He also shares the event that sent him into the journey he is currently on with the Holy Spirit. 

This man has gone from being the "Golden Child" to being on the streets, to being in prison, to now being someone who gets to help others. 

I want to acknowledge Chris for his vulnerability.
