Speaker 1:

Hey WenwallsKentuck listeners. I know this is an unexpected interruption in the middle of your week. This week I don't normally drop episodes until Saturday, but I'm interrupting your regularly scheduled content to let you know that I have officially relaunched the Sister Show, cinematic secrets the dark side of the silver screen. You may remember, I did a feed drop a little while back when our first episode about the Wizard of Oz came out and then took an unexpected hiatus while I determined exactly how I wanted to handle that show and what I wanted to do with it. As part of my revitalized and rebranded kind of business strategy for myself for the next year, I've decided that cinematic secrets will officially be a regular occurring podcast, just as regular as this one is. So cinematic secrets is going to be updated every other Wednesday at 5 am Mountain Standard Time with a new incredible, cursed movie story whether that be a true crime, association with a film, dark mysteries, dark stories, just anything that has to do with the film not going quite as anticipated in order to provide you with a new context with which to watch some of these incredible and monumental films. But the reason I'm interrupting you today is letting you know that the first episode since our relaunch of sorts is actually up now and rather than share it on this feed again, I thought that maybe I'd just see if some of our listeners would want to jump on over to that podcast and check it out and follow or subscribe to it wherever you listen to your podcast, so you don't miss one in the future. I'm super excited about this one. It covers the controversy and curses behind a movie known as Rosemary's Baby you may have heard of it directed by the iconic Roman Polanski, who was also extraordinarily overshadowed by events and facets of his past. I would like you to listen to the story to make your decision on how you feel about him, but we will be back two weeks yet again, so just go check it out, listen to it, let me know if you're listening to any of my episodes ever on any of my shows. Screenshot your podcast player and post it to your Instagram story and tag me and I will share. You, shoot you a message, thank you personally and just have a conversation around your thoughts on the episode and what your takeaways are, because I would love to engage with you all a little bit more. But this is my invitation Please go join the show and listen. Let me know what you think.

Speaker 1:

Also, for any of you who are familiar with another sister show that we used to have called Ghost Besties the Whore Reaction Show, the reason that there hasn't been many new episodes there is actually because I'm taking that show to YouTube. I think it deserves a video element, and it's a great way to help build out my YouTube channel, which also features full length episodes that have been released in the past, as well as some additional vlog content and videos about podcasting in general and my journey with it. In November, I will promise you that I will be shifting to a fully videotaped filming session, meaning, if you want to watch me literally record it you can listen to these episodes or watch them on YouTube and get the visual element as well as the audio element. So that is my promise to you, but in the meantime, that's some of the stuff that you can look for on YouTube. What else? I don't think anything else today. I just wanted to let you know that that episode was out in case you missed it, and I will be back on Saturday.

Speaker 1:

For those of you who are my close friends and fans who are listening to this right now and have gotten all the way through this little rambling sales pitch of sorts, I'll give you a little hint on our Next when Walls Can Talk episode. It will be covering the Shanghai tunnels of Portland, oregon, and if you want to get yourself kind of teased and warmed up for that episode, go on to Discovery Plus or wherever you can watch paranormal investigation shows, and watch the episodes, particularly the one by Portals to Hell, just to kind of get an idea of what we're going to be talking about. But enjoy your Wednesday. Happy hump day everyone. I hope your week is going well. Thank you for being a listener of my show. Check out Cinematic Secrets. It'll keep you occupied until I'm back on Saturday with a new episode. Thanks, guys.
