A viral Shia LaBeouf clip looks like a random celebrity confrontation until the backstory lands and it turns into something darker: stalking, delusion, and the internet’s hunger for the most flattering narrative. We walk through what actually happened, why the first version felt “off,” and how fast a bad frame can spread when people want a scandal more than the truth.

Then we shift into something unexpectedly moving: Peter Kreeft’s marriage advice on Matt Fradd’s show, spoken in the shadow of his wife’s death. We react to his blunt test for marriage, talk about what love looks like when beauty fades, and get real about the early years of marriage, having kids, and learning that your day is no longer “your day.” If you care about Catholic marriage advice, family life, or what makes a marriage last, this part is worth a quiet listen.

From there the conversation goes where Catholic YouTube always goes eventually: the Church crisis and the mess of online factions. Our guest, Alexander Poe, shares what it’s like to be a recent convert who starts posting uncomfortable truths and immediately gets pushback, especially around John Paul II, Vatican II, and the trad vs mainstream Catholic media divide. We also dig into Fatima and the errors of Russia, “ops” accusations, and why you can’t replace the Pope with your favorite YouTube channel, even when trust feels shattered.

If you like thoughtful Catholic commentary with humor, marriage realism, and an honest look at the trad Catholic internet, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

Sunburns And A State On Fire

SPEAKER_15

That was amazing. Good job, Sabby. That was a good one. Okay.

SPEAKER_12

Not sure why he had you crying, but.

SPEAKER_15

So alright, so well, we have to. I mean, I am so red, but that's not even my lighting. I've been cooking in the sun on the boat and at work nonstop.

SPEAKER_12

I look like a You look like the lobsters we used to sell.

SPEAKER_15

Yes, it's bad. Uh, I got so sunburned today that when I got out of the shower today and I wiped my face with the towel, my like skin started um bleeding. Like I started bleeding on my like I'm just so cooked from uh from being in the sun so much, man. And I refuse to use sunscreen, of course. But um, yeah, uh, so we're not doing rare um because uh Rob and I have had two very intense weekends, and it's just we need to do this one just a little daunting. It's it is it's I'm I'm thinking maybe we should just uh uh do it on locals and just read through the encyclical with everybody. But um, all right, anyway, so Alexander Poe is joining us tonight because Rob was almost going to not make the show tonight because his state is on fire right now, right?

SPEAKER_12

At least the northern half.

SPEAKER_15

But it's close to where you work, right?

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, yeah. The uh about four miles right now from where I work, um, which and that's 20 miles north of where I live. So like my house isn't in danger or anything, but all the areas they've evacuated, those people are um um being sheltered at like our town city hall and stuff like that. So I was gonna see if uh I was gonna see if they needed volunteers or donations or stuff, and uh I checked in after work and they're fine. So I'm here.

SPEAKER_15

All right, that's good. Um, yeah, yeah, Rob was gonna run into the burning forest to go save people instead of talking to me tonight. But um, so Alexander Poe, uh, he I've been on your show, Alex, and I uh had a really good conversation with you, and I thought it'd be fun to get you on. So, what we're going to do is we have to play the shire stuff because it's just funny. Like it's actually hilarious. And when I saw the original Shia video, I didn't believe this woman at all. Somebody posted it saying Shaya like confronted some woman and everybody trying to make it like he's losing his mind. And I knew it was a woman that filmed it, and I was like, Yeah, I don't, I'm not believing it. I don't believe that he did anything wrong. So we're gonna go through that, and there's some backstory to it that's pretty amazing. Then um, we I want to discuss the Matt Frad Peter Creed clip. Uh, so maybe we'll get through that. And then Rob Rob brought in an interesting story of a uh a priest in Superchiz Diocese that should be fun to discuss.

SPEAKER_12

I mean, we've we've talked about this priest three or four times already.

SPEAKER_15

I don't even um my memory's so bad, but yeah, and then over on locals, uh Alex, you'd be the perfect person to get on to discuss like a bit of an update on the Maudsley uh attack that went out recently. Like uh there was uh there was a uh an article, a Substack written about Father Maudsley, and you and I both know the person that um wrote it. You have interviewed the guy, and uh yeah, I'd like to because you have some kind of inside baseball. So Alexander the Poe, why don't you give everybody a quick introduction of who you are, how you got into this uh sphere of podcasting, or what what whatever you're willing to share?

Meet A New Convert Podcaster

SPEAKER_07

Sure, yeah. I actually uh I started my I've got a YouTube channel. I started it because everybody in my life pretty much is Protestant, and so I was trying to sort of I was making like YouTube shorts that were kind of apologetic shorts about Mary, about um just the church in general, and trying to to to kind of um learn and then be able to share that sort of information with the people in my life. Um and then it just grew from there. I started reaching out to people to um to do interviews, a couple of them kind of um kind of kicked off, and um it just kind of ran from there. It's uh it's been a crazy last few months. Things have really grown, and um go ahead.

SPEAKER_15

I want I wanted to ask you because like you come in doing these small short apologetic videos, and what kind of puts you down the road of like, oh man, uh maybe maybe like the Catholic answers stuff isn't the exact way I'm my um that's not the route I'm going to take. Like, what what makes you go from more mainstream Catholicism to more like nutcase Catholicism like Robert are into? I mean, we pretty much we pretty much are like blackpilled. Like I don't want to call it that, but it's kind of weird.

SPEAKER_07

Well, Dr. Jones honestly is kind of uh was kind of probably the bridge for me there because he's you know, he still sort of um approaches things from like an academic angle. You know, I'm a student, I'm a master's student, um, philosophy, and so um he was kind of a bridge from I don't know, looking at things from a theological philosophical lens, but but not um sort of getting stuck in the the normy definitions and um and and understandings of things. So um he was probably my bridge, and then it uh you know, you kind of it's it's kind of crazy on the internet space, you never know where you're gonna end up. So you know you'll end up here and there, huh?

SPEAKER_15

How'd you find our show?

SPEAKER_07

I don't remember. I have no idea. It probably just showed up on my algorithm. I always wonder like what people are watching that like you can go in uh on the studio and and see like what other channels people watch that are uh that are like yours.

SPEAKER_15

It's really an interesting whenever I do that, it's always interesting to see because uh because it a lot of that has to do with the guests you have on and stuff. So like the the people that we've interviewed will always show up in there, but then it'll be like it'll it'll be um Joe Heshmeier and Trent Horner will be in there. You know, you'd be amazed at how much crossover there is between Tradistan and Normy Catholicism because people are still trying to learn stuff, and there's still some good apologetic stuff over there, but they're kind of like red-pilled, and they're like, eh, I don't know, I don't like the gay stuff in Rome, so maybe I'll check this out too. And it's uh it's yeah, it's kind of interesting.

SPEAKER_07

But um by the way, my my set is not AI. Somebody said it's AI. My wife and I spent about a week putting this together a couple months ago, and uh, so just gotta take the credit for it, you know.

SPEAKER_15

What year did you uh what year did you come into the church?

SPEAKER_07

Um last year.

SPEAKER_15

Wow. So you're a you're a you're a fresh Catholic.

SPEAKER_07

Is that gonna get me canceled?

SPEAKER_15

No, I don't know. You're a fresh Catholic.

SPEAKER_07

I'm only um so yeah, and I gotta be a little bit um careful with the details because uh we'll maybe talk about my content on locals, but um, I've started to get some uh pushback, so I don't want to um give away too much information. But but yeah, I came into the church last year. Um I've been researching this stuff for a while, um, but I came from Protestantism.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, there's gonna be some interesting details over on locals. I think locals are gonna be a bunch of yeah, like um yeah, just just that quick transition to coming into the church and then kind of getting into the the traditional realm. But you uh you you caught a little bit of flack for some recent videos you put out, I know on like John Paul II, right?

SPEAKER_07

Yep, absolutely. Yeah, I feel like I I I feel like I told the truth as as far as I know it, and um I got a lot of pushback privately and publicly. Man, people people love their idols.

SPEAKER_15

People don't people don't like I still look like Rob and I have discussed it. What when you especially as a cradle Catholic, like we grew up being told he was a living saint during his lifetime, you know, like like I heard that phrase so many times. The man's a living saint, the man's a living saint. So it it is kind of interesting to look back on it in hindsight and see a lot of the the flaws in the man, but well, and I can sort of understand some of the pushback I get too, because like I said, I just came into the church last year.

SPEAKER_07

Someone's like, Who's this new guy talking about the the saint that I've loved my whole life? Like I get it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I get it.

SPEAKER_07

But I mean, I feel like also converts can maybe see things from a different angle. I don't know.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah. Yeah, it is funny, man. It's like you you become Catholic and you want to share that with somebody, and you you're growing up in this Protestant milieu, right? So you you can't really talk to anybody that you're surrounded about it. So you're like, oh, I guess I'll just I'll start talking about it publicly. And uh yeah, it's it's it's I mean that's it's what happened with Rob and I too, right? Like we were, we had like like in my real life, I do have siblings that are Catholic, but like I go to work and nobody's Catholic. So you want to get on and talk to other Catholics about the Catholic faith or what's going on in the church, and there's nobody to talk to. So you we start these internet corners and they, you know, sometimes they work out.

SPEAKER_07

Yep.

SPEAKER_15

So um, all right. So we do have so we have some good stuff to get into over on locals. We'll try to we'll save

The Shia LaBeouf Stalker Backstory

SPEAKER_15

it for over there. But you want to do the shy stuff, Rob start with the um start with the first video I sent you by uh who is that guy, De Luca or whatever that he posted? Luke Lucra, Lucre, whatever the heck his name is.

SPEAKER_12

The actual video of Shire Shire.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, just with the video of Shire is just in that tweet by that guy.

SPEAKER_12

Give me a second.

SPEAKER_15

Everybody say it. A new convert with a podcast. It's like it is kind of like I understand it. I do think it is you're going to catch criticism from from all sorts of different people when you jump, especially when you're jumping into controversial topics. I think it's different if you're jumping in and just discussing, you know, apologetics or what led you to the church, but if you're jumping in again, and that's what I started with. Yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_15

What was like some of the first stuff you started checking out, though?

SPEAKER_07

Like when it got controversial, or no, no, no.

SPEAKER_15

Like what was the first like what brought you into the church? Like what what what personalities were you watching when you started?

SPEAKER_07

Oh, Matt Frad, for sure. Yeah, Matt Pines with Aquinas, 100%. Yeah, I mean that that's before before I actually converted. Yeah, it was it was Matt Fred is what that was the first bridge from Protestantism to the church.

SPEAKER_15

That's interesting. Yeah, a lot of people have that story. A lot of people love Fred. He's uh so we'll get we'll get to him tonight, too. All right, you got the clip ready, Rob? Yep. All right.

SPEAKER_05

Leave me alone. Hi, how are you? Hey, you're scaring my dad. You're scaring my people. Hear me? Hear what I'm saying? Bob flesh, leave me alone.

SPEAKER_15

That was a clip originally posted, and somebody said uh developing this woman claims Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf randomly walked up to her car and accused her of stalking him and coming to his house. He demanded for her to stop. So, but I immediately was like, There's something off about this, like, there's no way. And then the then the true story started coming out. So, Rob, there's a there's a a little screen under that. Yeah. So let's find out about this insane woman.

SPEAKER_01

Oh boy.

SPEAKER_05

Hi, how are you? Hey, you're scaring my dad. You're scaring my people.

SPEAKER_08

It's 7 06 a.m. July 13th, 2026. I'm gonna say the Muslim call to prayer. Because there's a lot of interference. The Muslim call to prayer, Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the one in God, Allah is the one in God, Allah is the one named only God, Allah is the one in only God. I've tried to give you contact accept Allah.

SPEAKER_15

And then shy is four or five p.m.

SPEAKER_09

High shy is eight forty. High shy, I'm letting my skull. How shy is ten twenty two shy? I'm gonna start driving again.

SPEAKER_14

I'm gonna every one of her videos.

SPEAKER_09

In this video, this video suggests my husband shy, hi shy. In this video, this video suggests my husband shy, hi shy. It's nine thirty p.m. June 16th, 2026.

SPEAKER_15

So, um So go to the go to the go to the last thing I sent down there though, Rob. Like this whole video is just all her Instagram and stuff, and then there's one more video. It doesn't have like uh it's like below, it's below that. Uh it's below the first one you played.

SPEAKER_12

Uh with the cop?

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, with the cop. This lady's a total mental patient.

SPEAKER_11

Oh god. And they're concerned that you might hurt yourself or someone said that you're posting that you're married to Shia LaBeouf.

SPEAKER_10

I'm not married to the clone Shia LaBeouf. There's someone that's had their identity stolen, named Shia LaBeouf. I'm not posting, and I repeatedly say on the internet that I'm not posting to people in regards to Shia LaBeouf, the clone or the celebrity. I'm not.

SPEAKER_11

They said there was something about you. They're trying to illegally frame you with him or something.

SPEAKER_10

No, I never said that. It is they're trying to illegally frame me and get me in trouble because they're trying to criminally frame me and saying that I'm harassing the celebrity. I'm not harassing the celebrity. I'm not, there's something very strange going on where my DNA was stolen. My mother Deanna sold my DNA to in Los Angeles, and something happened with my DNA, something happened with my husband's DNA, and we're in a very dangerous Can you imagine being a cop to get that call?

SPEAKER_12

But I like I can't wait until Anthony gets his first person like this.

SPEAKER_15

I want my I want my first mentally ill stalker. Like, all right, so Shaya puts himself out there though. Like he's walking the streets of downtown uh where was he? Down where they have uh Mardi Gras down there.

SPEAKER_12

New Orleans.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, he's there, he's in downtown New Orleans walking around drinking with uh the Hoy Poloi, and he's getting into it. And now he's got this mental patient who's claiming her DNA was stolen, her husband's DNA was stolen, and she's just tracking this poor man down.

SPEAKER_12

And I'm just like you know, I would say I hope Shyla carries a firearm, but uh that's not gonna help him if she straps the suicide vest to her.

SPEAKER_15

Well, not even that, he's probably got a few felonies at this point. Shy that's a good point, too. Shy's got a few felonies.

SPEAKER_12

I forgot you do kind of have one.

SPEAKER_15

That's right. He never showed up at my house, though. I will give him that. My wife was afraid of that, though.

SPEAKER_12

I won't. Well, I mean, you do have a tendency to give out your address online.

SPEAKER_15

My wife was definitely afraid of that. So, all right. So, well, you know, there's not much to say on it other than this complete loon of a lady is stalking Shia LaBeouf and thinks her DNA and her husband's DNA was stolen that Shia LaBeouf is a clone.

SPEAKER_12

So, you know. Aren't you uh so happy you came on our show, Alex, to give written Catholic commentary on these things?

SPEAKER_07

Um that one's pretty sad.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah,

Peter Kreeft On Marriage And Death

SPEAKER_15

all right. Well, let's get into the Matt Frad clip because um Matt Frad had um uh Peter Dr. Peter Krieft on. Now, uh Dr. Creeft's wife passed a few weeks ago, like five or six weeks ago. Yeah, in in May. And he came on, and I didn't watch the whole episode. I did watch segments of it, and uh there were some very touching parts to it. Uh one one in particular that Joshua Charles posted that I thought was uh it was really good. And I want to talk to you guys, I want to see what your guys' thoughts are on if this is a good read on, you know, if you should get married. That that was kind of his advice.

SPEAKER_12

I'll be honest, I almost pulled the thread watching his clean. The tearing up thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's see. Let's see.

SPEAKER_00

What advice? I know I've asked this, but I want to take another swing at it, give you another opportunity. What advice do you have someone watching this who's newly married or who is about to be?

SPEAKER_01

Do you think that when you are very old and your wife is very old and ugly and wrinkled, uh, and fat and uh not very bright or even nasty, that uh you will still find her beautiful. If so, get if so marry her. The last uh view I had of my wife uh in the nursing home uh about an hour after she died, uh I fell in love with her again. Here is a a wasted, emaciated, uh wrinkled, suffering body. It's as beautiful as a crucifix. So if you don't love her soul, but just love her body, uh don't get married.

SPEAKER_15

Especially for a guy who uh like Peter Creet is 89 years old, right?

What Early Marriage Really Teaches

SPEAKER_15

So his wife, I would imagine, was just as up there in age. And it's a it's a very deep point to make because when you get married and you're young, uh like Alex, you're in your 20s, right? Young, beautiful.

SPEAKER_07

I've been married just over two years.

SPEAKER_15

Two years, yeah. I'm married 21. My my 21st wedding anniversary was this past weekend, and I told my I showed my wife that clip and I told her she's never allowed to get old and ugly, wrinkly, and she agreed, so we have an understanding, so everything's going to be fine on my end. But no, it's uh you you have to, you know, I'm 21 years married, he was 63 years married. Yeah. And you think I was thinking about that, like I'm a third of the way through where he is. And like we're uh Matt's asking um Matt's asking Peter Krief that question, but Matt is married 20 years old. So like we're like I'm at a stage where I'm able to give marriage advice, right? Like it's hard, it's hard for you at two years to give marriage advice, right? But um what have you what have you learned in your first two years of marriage? Have you had any surprise uh surprises come up or difficulties come up?

SPEAKER_07

Well, can I just say first of all, I was trying to explain to people in my life what this show is, and I think if they're watching and they just see that clip and then you start cracking up, I think they're just gonna be so confused as to what's going on here.

SPEAKER_15

But uh okay, look, the joke is probably a rather accurate the joke, the joke is see the problem is it was a touching clip, but the joke I'm trying to make my Protestant friends Catholic, Anthony.

SPEAKER_07

I'm not trying to push them away.

SPEAKER_15

All right, but Matt Brad cries every episode.

SPEAKER_12

Okay, but that one was different. I know, I know, especially considering the issues his wife has. Like, I'm sure he's foreseeing what he's going to live through. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_15

Like right. I was trying to go for a joke. I know it was insensitive, but he's always crying. Stop crying, Matt Brad. No, I my thought was honestly that if he didn't cry all the time over everyone. You cried over coi. That's true. I did cry. No, I did not cry over coy. Um all right, it was an inappropriate joke. I do that from time to time. But all right, so two years in, have there been any any um any unexpected, or or is or is marriage going pretty much the way you thought it would?

SPEAKER_07

I I I I don't know. I mean, you uh we also just had our first daughter. Um, she was born in March. She just turned four months old two days ago. That's funny. You s you sort of start to um learn this in marriage, but really, especially once you have kids, you realize just how little life is about yourself. Um, like you you get confronted with that a little bit in marriage, but you can kind of sort of still get away with being selfish. I mean, you really can't when you have a kid. Um, you really have to give of yourself and you really just um just learn what it means to to to give. Um, I don't know how else to say it. I mean, you have to give your time, you have to give your whole self. No day is your own. Um, and we've actually we've had a ton of help. Her uh, her parents have been staying with us, my parents have been helping out. We've got a lot of family help, but still, I mean, you you you wake up every day and it's not like this today's my day, it's it's my kids' day, you know?

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, I I think the I think the hardest thing for guys, um, so it depends how long you're married for before you have that first kid, but when you go from even from like dating to marriage and then having your first kid, the hardest thing for guys is that you go from being the most important person in the world to your wife to almost you don't matter, it's just about the kid, right? And it's like and and women have to keep that in mind also and not forget about their husbands and only worry about their kid. It's like so like finding that that balancing act as newlyweds was probably the hardest thing my wife and I went through when we were first married. You know, you we had you know, you're having a few kids, and now it's like you still you still want to maintain that connection, but your wife is overburdened with caring for children while you're you're at work and stuff. That's probably the hardest thing that I remember early on in marriage. How about you, Rob?

SPEAKER_12

Everything everything perfect your whole marriage, or it um in a weird way it gets easier with each kid, with each additional kid. Um I don't know if it's funny because I don't the kids seem like they like Bash has been the easiest baby we've had yet. I don't know if just because we've got some better ad or because he's actually just a better baby, but um, I don't know.

SPEAKER_15

Well, I think well, first off, but the difference between your first kid and then the subsequent children is drastic, right? Your first kid, you have that baby, and I remember like when my son came home, I would go and wake up in the middle of the night and go make sure his heart was still beating because I would thought he was gonna be broken.

SPEAKER_12

It's like you're so paranoid, or like you've driven the car for 20 minutes, and you're like, Oh, has he somehow suffocated in his child seat? Yeah, that was designed to make sure he doesn't do that.

SPEAKER_07

Like every little thing, and just picking up a newborn baby, like it feels so fragile, it's like it's terrifying.

SPEAKER_12

And it it at least for me, every time we have a new newborn baby, it's like I've completely forgotten how small, like it it all could like all that anxiety almost comes back a little. The first for a little while.

SPEAKER_15

The first baby, you're getting them like these really nice clothes because you want them to look really cute for every little thing. By baby number three, they're just getting hammy downs, you don't really care that much about though.

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, well, that that is nice because you you just realize how superf uh just how unnecessary so much of the stuff is, you know, like all the fancy rockers and and bassinets and nah, you don't you really don't need most of that, but uh I don't know. I with each, I mean, now you know now now that we've had four and like we've made the transition from hope working to you know staying at home, you know, that happened with Tiggy number two. Um you know, our our whole life from when from when we got married, you know, and then come came back to the church, hope converted, having kids like our life is so drastically, incredibly 180 degree different than what it was. Um but uh I don't know, I can't imagine life getting the other way now.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, and once you start a little army, it's almost like you you're like you're just like your whole focus is your family at that point. Like you I don't know, you almost like you you fight less with your spouse at that point because you're both just so focused on the kids and everything, like family time and putting the kids to bed as a big event and stuff.

SPEAKER_12

This last weekend we had a couple of of my cousins up with their kids, and uh we were walking uh down down Main Street doing some they wanted to do some shopping at all the the cute little shops and stuff like that. And uh my cousin's two kids, his twins, were they about the same age as Maddie, and they were you know getting stuff in the shops. And we had one of our strollers that we had, and we had a couple of the kids in there, and they were setting stuff on the strollers and uh then asking their mom where their stuff was, and I'm like, it's right here on the stroller. And and their mom's like, Why are the why why is the couple with the most with the most kids watching all of our stuff?

SPEAKER_15

And I'm like, Well, what's another we have four, what's another two or two kind of just additions at that point, right?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, uh we're better to get to the point where the kids are uh helping take care of the other kids. That's what uh that's the goal. Have enough where they just start taking care of each other.

SPEAKER_15

That was my upbringing, right? So like I was in the older four of the nine, so it got to a point where like the older four would just care for the younger one. So we would go to church, and all the older four would have a baby in their arms when we'd be at church. And my my parents actually didn't even have to hold a baby at at certain points, you know. It was just the the older, like I I had been caring for infants throughout my entire teenage years, so like being a father really did come pretty naturally to me because I'd been around baby.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I was I'm one of two, and my my brother and I are eight years apart. I'm the older one, so I didn't. I mean, I I did, you know, he was I got to experience kind of when he was young. Um, but I mean it's been so long by the time my daughter came, I I didn't remember what it was like to hold a baby or any of that stuff.

SPEAKER_15

But yeah, I my me and my youngest brother are my I'm sorry, my my youngest brother and my son are closer in age than me and my youngest brother. Oh wow, that's it's it's really interesting. So, like my my youngest brother is more like an older brother to my son, even than I I'm more like an uncle to my youngest brother, you know. We're me and my brother are like 16 years apart, and him and my son are only five years apart. They're both gens, you know. It's like but yeah, I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, my my my brother's uh just graduated high school, he's about to go to college. It's weird. I got I still remember the day he was born.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, me too. I remember I remember when my brother Joey was brought home from the hospital. I was I think 10, and I remember like because it'd been so like it was the first infant in the house, and it was like as a 10-year-old, this new infant comes in the house, and it's like I I remember kissing him and being like remembering how soft he was, like he was just so fragile and soft, you know. But um, how old is your how old is your baby now? Four months, he said. Four months, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

Two days ago was four months.

SPEAKER_15

You're in you're in like baby baby stage. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_07

It's awesome though. I mean, she's like playing around now, she's she's you know, interacting, laughing, and uh making all sorts of funny no it's it's great.

SPEAKER_12

You'll become her favorite in about eight months.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, I was just gonna say, so for for okay, a dad, I don't want to say you don't connect with your kid yet, but right now it's all about mom. Like it just is, it's it's just all about mom. And at a certain point, it's probably around the eight-month mark where the baby recognizes your voice when you come home, and the excitement when the baby starts freaking out at hearing your voice. That's when dad really connects with the baby, and then especially if you have another one, like those toddler years and those like those young toddler years. It's the second you come in, the kids are just so excited that you're walking in the door. It's a it's a really fun time to be a dad when the kids are little like that.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, you're getting me excited.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah.

Jumping To Locals And Sponsor Reads

SPEAKER_15

So um, Rob, do you want to do that pre-story? I kind of want to just go over to locals and I want to talk about three minutes in. Well, there's a ton of stuff that I want to ask Alex about that I don't want to ask him about on YouTube, especially some of the uh stuff he was mentioning before. But I want to discuss the Father Walsley thing. I want to discuss uh E. Michael Jones reaching out to him privately. I want to discuss uh a bunch of stuff that I want to see hear about some of the pushback that he got from the JP2 interview. I want to, I want to, I want to get into some of the some of the mayhem he's dealt with since coming in. So like I said, Rob wasn't even um Rob wasn't even sure if he would make it tonight. So Rob and I had planned on talking about these couple of things we were, you know, which would be a typical avoiding Babylon show because Alex is here. I want to talk to Alex, so it kind of doesn't make sense to just cover these these stories with Alex here. So we're gonna jump over to the other side. Early uh locals episode tonight. We'll give you guys a little extra time on locals tonight. YouTube, you guys are getting shorted. Rob put the link in the chat before we go. Uh do Nicknacks. Nicknacks.com. Uh I still need a really good Nick Knack story. And I did have one. I have I'm working on it. All right, anyway.

SPEAKER_12

We should see if Nick Knacks will sponsor Bobby's bachelor party.

SPEAKER_15

That would be fun. I I am still I still want to do the do the speech at the wedding and make the speech at the wedding at Knickknac's end. And Nicole is so mad at me for even considering it. She's like, There's going to be two people that get the joke. It is not going to land.

SPEAKER_12

I'm like, I'm going to laugh my butt off. It's going to be awesome.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, I make bombing funny. Like, if I bomb at the wedding, it'll be funny. I have uh, yeah, we also I also have some crazy stories about what happened to me this weekend. The boat broke down. But uh, all right, so we're gonna do that over there. All right, so go to nicknacks.com. Use code AB25 for 25% off your first purchase, use code AB10 for 10% off subsequent purchases. Nicknacks is a nicotine product, they're nicotine lozenges. I have been uh I'm going to have to get a uh a re-upload from them, Rob, because I have actually been going through them quite quickly. Um nicotine is is an addictive substance. I did that already, or I don't know. It's an addictive substance, but you guys know that. That's why you're buying it. It is not a smoking cessation device, but I'm going to be seceding from my smoking habits again. But yeah, nicotine really good. Also, go to Black Monk Rosary, use code AvoidingBabylona at checkout to get your Black Monk Rosary. I pray my Black Monk Rosary. I play my rosary on my Black Monk Rosary every morning on my truck on my way in. If you don't have a Black Monk Rosary, you are not on the team. We are going to go over to locals now.

SPEAKER_12

And uh, if you guys Alex, where can people go to find your channel?

SPEAKER_07

Oh, it's just my name, Alexander Poe. You could up look it up on YouTube and you'll you'll find it.

SPEAKER_15

Poe P-O-E. Um, all right. And then uh, yeah, we're gonna go to the other side. So find something to take us out, Rob. I want to I want to get into the good stuff. We got some good stuff on locals tonight. And you guys, if you're not locals members, you're kind of nuts because that's where the show always happens. The best part of the show is always on locals. If you like any of this part of the show, you'll like locals better.

Pushback After Critiquing John Paul II

SPEAKER_15

Um, all right, so you were telling me you did the John Paul the second episode, and EMJ reached out to you behind behind the scenes, uh, because you've done so. For anybody that doesn't know, Alex has done several interviews with EMJ. And E. Michael Jones is a very interesting character. Like there are some things I just think he's bat crap off the off the rocker on. But then he's I mean, all the books he's written are phenomenal. He does really have have uh he's a really good writer, and he really brings and connects all the themes together, and he starts one book and it turns into another book, and it just, you know, and he's got some really good theories on like the destruction of cities and usury, and I mean, he's got such good topics, and you've had some really good interviews with him, even on money, right? Like, I think I saw one you did with him on usury and on money.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, yeah, yeah. We've done five like hour-long interviews. Um, I've talked to him offline. I I uh went to Europe with him earlier this summer. Um, like I've had a close relationship with the guy. Um, but uh yeah, I I made the video about John Paul II. People can go watch it. I I said a lot of things, um, obviously things that I believe to be true, otherwise I wouldn't have said them. Um, but yeah, Dr. Jones reached out and said um that I'm picking up trad themes at the very moment the movement has collapsed, is what he said. I'm assuming he's referring to the SSPX situation. He says this is a bad idea in and of itself, but it is certainly not something a 20-something convert should be doing. So no reference to anything I said in the video, just an attack on my credibility, unfortunately.

SPEAKER_15

I think uh man, it's going to come with the territory, right? Like you are a convert, you've only been in the church for a year. It's interesting that he thinks the trad movement is on its last leg or it's or it's dying or something, which look to be honest.

SPEAKER_12

I don't know if I necessarily disagree with that.

SPEAKER_15

I was just gonna say, like, the trad movement is not it's not what it was even three, four years ago. Like Francis did galvanize people to a degree where there was a uniting of the clans, people were just so outraged by what was happening under the Francis pontificate. And I don't even think things are different under Leo. I think the only difference is he's not saying like outlandish things that are coming out of Rome on the daily, and I don't think he's putting out um like uh you know, whatever the encyclicals or what were those at the end of every um at the end of every Sonod, Synodal meeting. What did he put a public an exhortation? Like he, you know, so I don't think Leo's been doing that, not yet, at least. So like he's better in that respect, but like his personnel people, the people he's putting into positions of of power are just as bad, if not worse. The whole thing happening over in Germany is insanely bad. So I don't know what Trads can do to you night. So I don't disagree with him on that, but it is interesting. Like you're doing that episode. What made you even decide to do that topic?

SPEAKER_07

I I don't even remember exactly what what it was. I um I had seen something about the Assisi meetings. Um, obviously I'd I'd known about them for a while, but I think I saw something in particular. Um, but anytime I try to make these videos, I always try to give uh not just like this one little piece of information and then try to extrapolate something from it. Like I always try to give context of like how the uh the popes themselves, or um the you know, if I'm talking about like the council or something, how the the writers of the council documents themselves how they're interpreting these things. Um, you don't want to just go find uh like I even saw a clip of Dr. Jones saying, you know, people will find like one instance of a clown mass and then draw this like massive conclusion from the from the one clown mass and say that all masses are clown masses with the one point, you know, whatever billion Catholics there are. Um, but that's not what like serious critics of the post-conciliar um hierarchy are do are doing, in my opinion. I mean, the the really serious ones, people like uh American Reform who you guys have had on the show. Um, I mean, this is this is serious work that they're doing, and and they're showing how the post-conciliar authorities have interpreted things in in a in stark contradiction to before the council. Um I just shared an article from American Reform today on on a document on religious liberty. Um he gives all the receipts for for how um how the post-conciliar popes have have interpreted these things. So but as far as the the trad movement, though, like I I think I piss everybody off because uh you know, some so I I get comments like over you a say to vacist. I go to an FSSP parish. So like I I think people sort of misunderstand what I'm doing. My whole thing is truth is the truth. I'm giving the truth of the situation as far as I can see it. And um I try to be very clear that I I don't have the authority to declare that there's nobody in the ch in the chair of Peter. I I don't have that author. I mean, I I frankly to Dr. Jones' point as a 20-something convert, you know, but um, but I'm just pointing out what I what I see to be the case. I don't know.

Father Maudsley Claims And Russia Theories

SPEAKER_15

Um the other the other link to why I want to talk about Dr. Jones is because uh we had I had went, I didn't really go through the article, but um someone you had been interviewing on your show, uh you you had interviewed recently on your show, um Augustus Virgil, who when he was on your show, I I I really enjoyed the episode. Like I thought it was really well done. He had some really good insights. He's talking about all of these different personalities that are you know that are kind of um being uh ashoturfed right now, and that they all kind of give you a bit of information and a bit of truth, so you always feel like you're getting to the truth, but they don't actually give you the full Catholic truth. So he he his thing seems like he was saying they were all Russian side or Russian ops or something like that. But he even thinks Dr. Jones is a Russian op, right?

SPEAKER_07

Like, yes. Um, and let me just say, first of all, um, I really I've I have a good relationship with this guy. I've I've uh I mean I when the article came out, I didn't know it was coming out. Um it sort of caught me off guard. I I uh happened to somebody else reached out to me about it, uh said, Hey, have you seen this? Um I didn't I had seen that it had come through, like it came in in my inbox, and I I saw the title. I didn't know that it was about Father Mosley. Um very, very long, lots of um, lots of footnotes. Um uh and what I told him, uh you know, I talked to him about it. Again, I I really I respect this guy a lot. And in fact, um a previous article that he wrote was so moving for my wife that she started doing the first Saturday devotion. So um just because I I don't find this one article convincing, and I think maybe he I don't know, might have might have crossed a line into potentially um scand uh you know defamation or something.

SPEAKER_15

Um that's why I was like like I like I like him too, and I and I think he has some really good insights. I just I just thought he was drawing some really big inferences in this in this thing. Um Rob had pointed out he's like like the way he made it sound was that Father Maudsley was uh a British spy and now he's a Russian spy, and it's like well if that's the case, wouldn't the British not like wouldn't they want to disappear him like for for being a double agent like that? Like there's just some major inconsistencies in it, but I also don't understand if from my point of view, like some like guys like Fuentes and Candace and Tucker, like I don't see them as being Russian ops, I see them more as maybe being American CIA ops or even Massad ops, things like that. But I don't see where the Russia angle comes in. But he seems to be caught up on um the fact that our lady warned about the errors of Russia and that nobody's really talking about Russia right now. And um part of my concern is that kind of anybody from the UK uh they have this idea of Russia like they are the greatest villain in the history of the world because they're in the UK, and Russia invaded the UK during World War II. So it's kind of like in their what did you think you know what I mean. That um I don't know what I just said, actually. What did you just say? No, I don't even know what I just said. That that because of World War II, they've always thought Russia would invade the UK. Because of the Soviets did invade Poland, they did invade Poland, right? Yeah. I mean, it's just it's in their lore, like it's in their it's in their mythology, like for the past part of the World War II narrative that they think Russia is going to be the enemy that they have to face.

SPEAKER_07

Well, to some extent, I I kind of I kind of respect that he's he kind of has like this first principle of like Fatima said the errors of Russia. Like Our Lady of Fatima said this, I have faith in what she said, and I'm drawing conclusions based on that. But I just don't I for me, I don't see where the dots connect. And uh in the article, I don't see anything that is concretely proving anything. It's just a lot of things that the the way I described it to somebody else was like it's uh all these events could otherwise be explained by simply changing your mind or or um just different different I don't know, you you go you you change in your life, you know?

SPEAKER_12

of the Russian Empire from 1917 with the Russian Federation in 2026 is kind of crazy.

SPEAKER_15

I'm not even against the idea in principle, right? Like I'm not, I'm not even again. I just I just didn't like the way this whole thing was um just it just it seemed like one of those things where um you get something in your head and it seems so clear to you, but you don't realize all the pieces you had to kind of stretch to get to where you were and then to just put out an article that in depth and and drawing on drawing on Maudsley's past and saying well this is what he's done and this is what he's done. And I just think that Father Maudsley is a very idealistic person, right? Like he he he aims for the ideal and when he believes something like he puts his all into it right so when he goes to prison in Burma it's because he truly believes what he's going to prison for. Same thing happens when he becomes a priest he goes all in and he goes for tradition and then when COVID happens it's like he sees this thing happening he's like absolutely not I cannot go there. So he like he he sees these things and his conscience draws the line and he's willing to put everything on what he sees. And the way Augustus Virgil is putting it was he's always been there everywhere he goes he goes as uh uh like a like a disruptor or something like that and it's like no I I just think like he was willing to go to prison for what he believed in he was willing to give up his faculties for what he believed in he's willing to lose all of his social media because he starts chasing down like learning about the JQ and his and his study of these books and like they were just all things that could very easily be explained by I learned something it moved my heart and my principles not the whole thing's a rush.

SPEAKER_12

And looking at his um I don't I hate using the word evolution now for anything but looking at the evolution kind of of of what he's believed or his worldview right like it's not that much different than what my own has been yeah and even the same time frames like um like when he was arrested in in Burma like I was all about you know a democracy and and American liberalism not leftism but American liberalism and and stuff like that just like he was it's just that he was way more brave about it than I was he was willing to actually do something.

SPEAKER_07

Well in the errors of Russia you know errors of she will spread her errors throughout the world too I've I've sort of and look I'm far from an expert on Fatima but I've sort of always understood that to mean not that not that now until you know whenever Russia is consecrated that it those errors will always emanate from Russia but rather that they've they have already been emanating throughout the world things like communism the these these ideas uh have have already been now rooted in America in Europe and errors of Russia have spread throughout the world into the church communism feminism abortion right uh the destruction of marriage you know all these things were liberty like all the things that the church is doing right now these are all errors of Russia yes absolutely yeah so we we have in many ways become an instrument of those errors yeah 100% yeah it's uh I I think I think I I had said I think he should retract the article and issue an apology I think he should have reached out to a couple of us before before putting it out publicly and asked our opinion on it because I'm sure he's getting a ton of pushback I mean you think the JP2 video got you push back but I'm sure he has gonna push I'm sure he got a ton of pushback. What was it with the uh so it was EMJ that made you start questioning the Jewish question right uh yeah but even before I came into the church like I was pretty uh into the political situation in Israel so that wasn't a huge leap for me that actually just clarified things for me yeah you know like like seeing it from the Catholic perspective um like like hearing what what Pius X said to Theodore Hertzl for example um that big wake up call from like wait Catholic popes talked like this and you were Protestant when you started discovering that stuff no no but I'm saying like coming into the church then going back into the tradition to see what they have to say about the JQ everything just crystallized. What was it that actually uh like what what what was it that actually made you start seriously questioning Catholicism so my wife's parents um who I have a great deal of respect for they sat us down and um told us that they were joining the church um this was a couple years ago and I mean it I mean I I had it completely out of left field. And so I had I had started to already kind of be like there there were some people that I'd like been watching online or whatever that had joined the church. I was like, you know that's weird I wouldn't expect that person to become Catholic or whatever. When you're a Protestant you have this very depending on where you're Protestant you have this particular view of what Catholicism is and you have these like really um like you you think all Catholics are kind of the same um that they all kind of just go to mass go do whatever they want in their personal lives you know do their Sunday obligation and and go on and live however they want um but when they told us they were becoming Catholic I it was something I had to take seriously because I really respected them as people. I knew they weren't kooks. And so I was like I knew that they sort of reasoned their way to this and so then I just I went back and started looking through um I started reading the church fathers I was like what did the early church look like um what did it mean as an early Christian to worship and I mean it just all what it crumbled my understanding of what Christianity was.

SPEAKER_15

What do they think of your conversion? They have to be thrilled right their daughter absolutely they're they're extremely thrilled yes and they they're they love being grandparents I'm sure what um now what what influences are they listening to like are they disappointed in cut becoming Catholic and seeing all the craziness in Rome too or are they kind of just not paying attention to it and just living out their faith they're not paying attention to it and living out their faith. That's probably the best fricking thing anybody can do.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah they're um you know they kind of the normy stuff Catholic answers pines with a qu which I mean you know it serves its purpose. Yeah it has its point 100% you know and you know I sort of have to have to walk this line especially like with my content being public again I my whole goal with this with this platform that I have I just want to try and say whatever I believe to be the truth. And um it's tough because I don't want to shake their faith at all. You don't want to push too hard and then they're like well you know what is all this and that's a difficult thing with this platform in general I was talking to my wife about this last night. Actually there's this there's this guy uh I don't I'd never heard of him until yesterday um he's got a YouTube channel called like Pope Defenders or something and he posted yesterday he's like I've seen some concerning content from Alex Poe 134 um I'm gonna make a response video to it and so I was talking to my wife about this and she's like you know she's like all nervous about it and she's like the drama and and so you know I I I the last thing I want is like my in-laws to be like I I just want them to be able to live out their faith you know so I don't know it's a it's a really it's really a tough thing. The the drama in the church cause makes for a really difficult personal life as a Catholic yeah it really does.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah yeah dude my whole my mom will watch our shows sometimes but my my mom is um she's very aware of the crisis in the church herself you know like my mom my mom's very aware of it she's very upset about it too so it's like it's not that shocking for her to see this stuff it is difficult with like like I don't you know I have in-laws that are Lutheran that I'm trying to always share the faith with and stuff like I don't want to share this craziness with them I just want to show them like how beautiful the Catholic faith has shaped my family in my life you know and it is a good witness like my in-laws are like blown away by how I raise my family and how even even difficult situations in our family how I handle them like the the drama between this one and this one and I'm and I'm like always always urging caution and letting things get too you know no gossip trying not to let anybody gossip and tell like always talking about the importance of keeping the family together whereas I think if I wasn't taking my faith seriously I'd be adding to the mayhem and you know it it would get significantly

Gates Of Hell And A Counterfeit Church

SPEAKER_15

worse.

SPEAKER_07

Well and part of why I'm talking about the stuff with like JP2 or or the council or whatever it is too is because I I want people to understand like none of this like the the whole the I don't know if you've seen the most recent video I did but it was particularly controversial about the gates of hell and the whole point I'm trying to make is that none of this is a reason not to be Catholic. I'm trying to give as much of a foundation for nothing that you see like we have 1900 years at least of consistent Catholic teaching and a consistent church that like there are so many motives of credibilities miracles like there's so much there to believe in the truth of the Catholic faith try trying to figure out what has happened since the council none of it should be a reason to leave yeah and so I'm trying I'm trying to sort of like with these last few videos I've made yes be like yes things are bad and in fact look how really bad they are but I'm still going to hold to the Catholic faith you know yeah and there are still people need people need to like have those those problems acknowledged because I think like some of the platforms that we've talked about like they when they don't acknowledge those things and then people find all the scandals in the cr in the crisis then they think okay there's no way to reconcile it. Yeah so I don't know.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah I I well first off there are still miracles in the Catholic church there are still eucharistic miracles there are still incorruptible saints coming so there are still miracles it's just not as um the church isn't shining like it once did but I don't know I I I've I'm not gonna go through it again with everybody because I've said it a million times but like it's like I just think the church is in her passion right now. So it's it's going to not look like it's in in her glory at the moment. It's going to look like it's a battered a battered corpse you know and it's like it but yeah it's this is kind of my issue with the sedes where it's like yeah I know what it looks like but there are still valid sacraments there's still and and there are still good priests that you could go to and it's still you know we're just being overwhelmed by evil at the moment in the church and we have to try to avoid it at all costs and yeah I mean his sheep know his voice you know when you're hearing something true and something false especially because we have that 1900 years of history to look back in.

SPEAKER_07

So like like you said they these other shows sometimes it seems like they're gaslighting right like you're crazy if you see this stuff but no this stuff is happening before our eyes but it doesn't mean the gates of hell have prevailed right well I think part of the part of the punishment the chastisement the the strong delusion if you will if that's uh what we're experiencing is that uh I mean you're not going to just find that one YouTube channel that has the truth. Yeah you know you're just not I mean there's like if the Setivacantist theory is correct it's not like you can replace the Pope with with your favorite with your favorite YouTube channel. I don't know.

SPEAKER_15

I don't know if that made sense but yeah no if the if side of this is true there would be miracles there would be because you're making a great claim and with a great claim would come great signs. Like there would be there would be stigmatist side of contest priests and stuff. There just would be because God would want you to recognize that something is is true somewhere.

SPEAKER_07

It's like well maybe so but but in in 2 Thessalonians 2 I mean you know he does talk about the the the strong delusion and that that many will be deceived and um because they refuse to love the truth I mean it's sort of like we're we're we're reaping the consequences of of civilizational sins um that that that we've committed. I really see St. Paul when he says that like warning about something extreme. Yeah and and so I I don't know what the extent of that is but but a but a str I mean a the operation of error is how it's also translated. I mean that's um and and if you if you you know if you mix that with with Fulton Sheen talking about a counterchurch with Reverend E. Sylvester Berry talking about a counterchurch that has all the notes and characteristics of the church um these things are those are scary things to those are those are eschatological concepts and and the only way to make sense of those would be St. Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians I've that's been a recurring theme on my channel for many months now.

SPEAKER_15

I'm sort of obsessed with that that one chapter um I want to pull up um I want to pull up a tweet by uh let me see if I can find it father Nick said a good tweet uh blessed and Catherine Tammerick let me see if I can find this he has a tweet very often so I might be able to find it um okay uh blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich uh had this vision on May 13 1820 I saw the fatal consequences of this counterfeit church I saw it increase I saw heretics of all kinds flocking to the city of Rome I saw the ever increasing tepidity of the clergy the circle of darkness ever widening and now the vision became more extended I saw in all places Catholics oppressed annoyed restricted and deprived of liberty churches were closed and great misery prevailed everywhere with war and bloodshed I saw rude ignorant people offering violent resistance but this state of things lasted not long again I saw in a vision Saint Peter undermined according to a plan devised by the secret sect while at the same time it was damaged by storms but it was delivered at the moment of greatest distress again I saw the Blessed Virgin extending her mantle over it. Like there's all of these prophecies that we have um even when we went through the Ticonius stuff um like there's all of these prophecies just talking about the end times of the church Joshua Charles posts stuff all the time about um uh that St.

SPEAKER_07

Gregory talked about in his vision let me see if I can find that one um I'm working on a video right now that has quite a bit from the Morale on Job yeah that that's where that's where he pulled a bunch of it hang on the Moralion Job is uh Josh speaks a lot lately um I want to pull that up I don't know when he wrote it though um yeah it might have been too long ago for me to just uh well here's here's one that may be relevant this is uh this is Gregory the Great and Morellian Job this is in the sixth century says um this is uh a commentary on a verse in Job that says he hath destroyed me on every side and I am gone and he hath removed mine hope like as with a tree torn away uh St. Gregory says the church is as it were destroyed on every side and undone in her weak members when those very ones that seemed strong are brought to ruin when the crown is taken away from the head in other words when the rewards of eternity are neglected even by those set at the head in other words really the hierarchy apostatizing in some sense is how I have that is that is what's that is what's happening before our eyes right now.

SPEAKER_15

So um Saint Pope Gregory the Great's Moralia on Job is a truly astounding work completed near the end of the 500s it was so penetrating in its mystical and spiritual analysis of Job that even Saint Thomas Aquinas in his commentary completely skipped the spiritual reading of Job saying Gregory had done it so well. So in the Moralia Saint Pope Gregory the Great reads the story of Job partly eschatologically and speaks multiple times about how the church will be profoundly weakened before the arrival of Antichrist but that this is ultimately to benefit the elect and permitted by God to bring the reprobate into condemnation it's very humbling and eye-opening observation to read for Gregory constantly sees in such things God opening highways of mercy and reward for the truly righteous if only they refuse to be scandalized which turns Catholics into heretics, schismatics and apostates so this is St. Gregory says while holy church appears more commonplace in this way deprived of the powers of signs it happens both that the rewards of good people grow greater because they venerate the church in the hope of heaven and not because of the signs that she presents and the minds of bad people are quickly shown to be against the church they neglect the following of the invisible reality that she promises because they are not impressed by the visible signs. Accordingly since the humble faithful are deprived as it were of the multitude of manifest signs the hidden plan holds terrible holds a terrible trial more generous in mercy for those who are good but heavier in righteous anger for those who are bad so before antichrist becomes manifest and conspicuous in large part the signs of power signs of power in holy church cease and we are told poverty goes before this before his face. So it's like in the end things are going to look bleak they're going to get so bad and it's going to it's only going to get worse as as this thing goes on. That's why like I had said um recently and the set is got the flipped out about it because I said like I'm not scandalized by what Leo's doing I'm not scandalized by any of this stuff anymore. I expect it to get much worse. So in some ways because there has to be a death before there could be a resurrection I kind of like I'm I'm looking at it with anticipation like good let let the this thing needs to it's not going to be fixed through human elements at this point. It needs to just allow God to do what he has to do now.

SPEAKER_07

Well um you know I mentioned that Reverend E Sylvester Berry quote um this is from a work called The Church of Christ an apologetic and dogmatic treatise this is from 1927 this quote is terrifying he says the prophecies of the apocalypse the book of Revelation show that Satan will imitate the church of Christ to deceive mankind he will set up a church of Satan in opposition to the church of Christ Antichrist will assume the role of Messiah and his prophet will act the part of Pope and there will be imitations of the sacraments of the church there will also be lying wonders and imitation of the miracles wrought in the church who's uh who's been your favorite person you've had on so far oh that's a good question um oh man I I gotta say Father Modley's probably up there that was pretty surreal getting him on he uh he uh his his interview was pulled down over your YouTube channel right yeah it was and actually it was like uh a day or two after um uh that the article we were talking about um yeah it got pulled I have no idea what it got pulled for um they gave me a timestamp uh I even tried to cut out the little part they timestamped and I sent it back and they still didn't put it back up so um when I initially posted about it I said I got a strike they didn't actually give me a strike they gave me a warning um the first one's a warning and you did actually get rid of that right Rob yeah for 90 days after 90 days yeah yeah October 1st it goes away yeah so we don't have any strikes on our channel either we had we had one warning because I called um well we did get one strike remember we were off for a week what was that for uh medical misinformation yeah it was for the covet stuff it was covet stuff yeah we got we got one a one week suspension for that but um I also had uh Theo Howard on he's he's great he's he's got one of my favorite platforms on the internet yeah I want I wonder what I wonder what's going to happen with the content space man because it seems like people aren't really working together anymore people are dividing into factions you see kind of that you see one group going over to you know they won't say they're set of a contest but they say I'm

SPEAKER_15

Everything the set of acantists say. Then the set of acuntists are another group. Then you have the SSPX thing has been very divisive, man. It's kind of wild to me. I'm watching everybody freaking go to war with each other over the society thing. I'm so tired of the society conversation. I don't even know. I don't even know what to say about it anymore. It's like, okay, they they put in a a request to what today to to have it reviewed, basically, to appeal it. But it's like it's not like what are we gonna do? We're gonna talk about the SSPX again. I don't know. It's just it's I don't know what to make of it. I don't go to an SSPX chapel, so I don't really feel like I have a a dog in the fight, so I don't really care that much.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, I don't have one close to me at all.

SPEAKER_15

Um what uh what made you go to the to an FSSP parish?

Finding The Latin Mass After Scandal

SPEAKER_15

Uh like what'd you start in? What did you start in a novice ordo and then find your way to tradition? Like what was that?

SPEAKER_07

Yes, I did. And what really what first really scandalized me, and I'd already kind of had some seeds planted about uh how bad things were, but I was um at just a daily mass one time in a small little chapel. It's the the at the church where where my wife and I got baptized, and um a guy went up to to read the scripture during mass, came back, sat right behind me. I'd seen him read the scripture many times, and go to do the sign of peace. I turn around, look at this guy, and he kisses his husband, and they have a child with him. So I was like, I'm I'm probably not gonna come back here. Because I'm like, you guys are clearly this guy's habitually like reading the scripture and living publicly this sinful life. Um it it really like so the gaze made you trad. I'll be honest with you, it kinda kind of broke my heart when it happened, honestly. Like I was really upset because you know I was fairly new, and I was like, you know, here here I am. I'm trying to like change my life and and and conform my life to what Christ wants for me. And like here's this person. It pissed me off.

SPEAKER_15

It would have it would have upset me too, yeah. So um so so what is what like what where do you discover tradition? Like, where do you even discover that?

SPEAKER_07

What do you mean?

SPEAKER_15

Like, where do you even find out about the Latin mass and all that stuff happening?

SPEAKER_07

Um I don't like what platform did I did I find all that.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, like where do you even hear about it? Because like you, I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

I mean, it might have been you guys, like might have been that that bridge for me. Um but I went from you guys to to like the two cities pop. I found out about Theo from you guys. Um his platform is just fantastic. That's good. Will Will Tucker as well, who I uh have a lot of respect for. We we keep in touch. Um, he's great. Um yeah, I don't there's not any other like big names, I don't think.

SPEAKER_15

For me, I remember my first like real disappointment was um I it was after like one of my uh earlier, it was like right after I got married, and I was like, um I want to start taking my faith more seriously. It's like when I that was when I like when I discovered Scott Hahn, Scott Hahn's conversion story, and I start doing my deep dive into like Catholic, like I'm nowhere near traditional or anything like that yet. Very much in like the lighthouse Catholic media world, listening to Catholic answers, stuff like that. And I remember going to a priest for confession and like being excited to tell him that I was taking my faith seriously, and he just sat there with this dumbfounded look on him, like he was like annoyed that I was like on fire for the faith. Like he like it was like like he was disappointed that I was going to be one of those annoying on fire Catholics who actually cares about doctrine and stuff. And I just remember being so disappointed, and it was the it was at the parish I got married at, and he was like a newly installed priest because before him there was a really good younger priest who did like a men's group for us, and I was going to that and stuff. And then I remember when this new priest came in, I was going in to like introduce myself to him and like you know be a part of the parish, and he just looked so disgusted that I was going to be one of those annoying Catholics who actually believes Catholic doctrine. And then he started, then he started putting in the bulletin like stuff from Father Richard Rohr and like Eckhart Toll. Like he was putting Eastern spirituality inside the freaking the weekly bulletin. And I just got so disgusted, and that was when like the church hopping started, and I started looking for a good parish. And I it was it's been it was it was a couple of rough years there until like 2016 when I s when I found the traditional mass.

SPEAKER_07

Well, the biggest thing that I I mean the biggest thing is the confessional because the priest gives you actual penance at an FSSP parish. Yeah. I don't

Confession Penance And Not Drinking

SPEAKER_07

think I've ever gotten anything other than Five Hill Marys at a Nova Sordo parish.

SPEAKER_15

I actually got a really annoying penance a few weeks ago. Oh man. But I told Rob about it. I called Rob about it. It was infuriating. It was so good, and I needed it so bad, and I couldn't do it. And it was at a Novis Ordo parish. I was like, man, I walked out, I go, Rob, I went to a Novasoto priest. Why didn't I get my three hail married? I was so mad. The priest told me not to drink for a week. Like, dude, it was so weird. I didn't even confess anything bad with drinking.

SPEAKER_07

Like, it was like he was he just knew he just knew you were an alcoholic.

SPEAKER_15

I just it no, it was he recognized the voice, and look, yeah, it was just such bad timing because I was going to all right, so all right, so the name the the day before I was at a family party and I didn't drink, and everybody was like, Why don't you drink? I was like, No, I'm you know, I'm trying not to drink too much. I got work tomorrow, I'm gonna take it easy. But we had another family party the next night, and I was like, I promise you guys I'll hang out and I'll drink with you guys. Like, I just like everybody gets disappointed when I don't drink because like party's not fun. They like they really want me and my wife to drink at the party, you know. So I like I didn't drink the night before, and I'm like, I told everybody, I'm like, just tomorrow night we'll hang out, we'll have fun. Like, you know, just not tonight. So we went home that night, and the next day, I'm like, I'm going to go to confession before the party because I want to make sure that I like temper my drinking. So like I talked to the priest about like wanting to temper my drinking, and and he's like, Well, I think uh as a penance, I'm gonna tell you not to have a drink for a week. I'm going to like I'm going to a party right after this. And like everybody's like gonna be mad if I don't drink. It was just a very annoying penance.

SPEAKER_07

Um you didn't drink, right?

SPEAKER_15

I wound up having a drink just because I didn't want anybody to say anything, and then I wound up being sick to my stomach because I didn't do the penance. Oh, and uh it's just such a oh man off ever since I have to uh been off ever since brutal. Yeah, it was the I should have just got three stupid Hail Marys. Like I that's done with these Novos Wardo priests.

SPEAKER_07

No, the FSSP parish, it's five decades of the rosary at least.

SPEAKER_15

I would have gladly taken five decades of the rosary. That would have been no big deal to me. Oh man, I was so mad about that. I called Rob and I was just like, dude, what is going on here? Why is this the one he's giving me now?

SPEAKER_12

Uh you know, and if you you know, a lot of people do double the penance for the priest. So really you you owe two weeks of no drinking. Which look, if it if not, now that you didn't do it, you owe a month. Yeah, at least I have to go back to I know we're against uh usury, but interest builds, man.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, so so now if you don't do the penance, is your absolution still valid?

SPEAKER_12

No, yes, yes, it's still valid.

SPEAKER_15

It is, right? Yes, but your target is gonna suck, right?

SPEAKER_12

Yeah, pretty much.

SPEAKER_07

Well, and then you gotta go confess that, right? That you didn't do the penance.

SPEAKER_15

I'm going to, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I just confessed it to all of you, but I have to go get absolution for it. Listen, I don't know.

SPEAKER_07

I just converted last year, don't ask me. I'm a I'm a 20-something convert. I don't have I can't say anything.

SPEAKER_15

I uh yeah, that was a rough one, man. It was a rough one because I like I uh I I wasn't even gonna tell this one on air. I don't know why I did.

SPEAKER_12

Everyone they're taking bets in the chat whether you're gonna die of lung cancer, um, skin cancer, or liver damage.

SPEAKER_15

Uh yeah, I have to go back to the same priest, and I have to tell him.

SPEAKER_12

You don't have to go to the same priest.

SPEAKER_15

I but it would be good to, like I don't have to, but it would be good to and tell him, Father, I need a different penance. I need a penance that's much harder, but not hard. I don't know, it was a rough one. Wow. What a Paul say.

SPEAKER_12

No.

SPEAKER_14

What a false say.

SPEAKER_07

I can't even see the chat. It's probably good that I won't be like Josh.

SPEAKER_14

That was that really was the worst penance I had ever gotten. I'm so mad about that.

SPEAKER_12

Um That's just because you haven't had a penance where a priest tells you to go uh home and immediately hang up all the pictures your wife has waiting for you that you put off for at least 30 days.

SPEAKER_15

That would be an annoying penance, but it's still something I would do.

Boat Breakdown And A Flooded Car

SPEAKER_15

Um then uh this past weekend, I uh everybody was asking for like uh videos of the boat. So this past weekend I showed you that whole trip I was taking, right? Like remember we brought the map up last week, Rob. Yeah, and like going down into the ocean and going all the way out to Greenwork. Uh got out there, no problem. I filmed like a ton of it because there's no videos on YouTube of that journey on Long Island. So I was planning on like doing like a little, a small like a vlog of the journey, going out out the um out the uh inlets and coming back in the inlet, going through the locks and doing all that. Uh got out there, had a really nice time Friday night. My in-laws came out to meet us Saturday, hung out with them on Saturday, took them out on the boat, went around uh uh uh Greenport on fro on Saturday. Sunday, we get up and we were gonna take my in-laws around Shelter Island on Sunday for a few hours and then head home. And I pull in to get gas with them, and I put the boat in reverse to back into the dock, and when I go to put it back in drive, the boat won't come out of reverse. And I'm two and a half hours away from my car on the boat, like a two and a half hours.

SPEAKER_12

On the boat going forward at full speed.

SPEAKER_15

I'm going forward at full speed, two and a half hours from my car. I'm like, what am I going to do? I'm on a totally different body of water than my car. Like, I'm in between the forks of Long Island. My car is on the south shore of Long Island. Seato will not bring me to my car, it is way too long of a ride. So the closest I could get them to bring me is Matituck, which is about 45 minutes from where I am in Greenport, and an hour and a half away from my car on a drive. Like, so once they bring me to a public dock in Mattituck, I had to have my son come pick me up in Mattituck, drive me to my car an hour and a half away, get my car with the trailer, drive it back an hour and a half to go get the boat, and then another hour and a half back home. That was my Sunday.

SPEAKER_12

You know what else YouTube doesn't have?

SPEAKER_15

Someone going in reverse uh 20 hours to get back to if I was not with my wife, I would have reversed all the way home. No way. I'm not kidding. I would have tried it.

unknown

You would have tried it.

SPEAKER_15

I would have tried, I would have seen at least like how far I could get in reverse. You're going five miles an hour.

SPEAKER_12

It's one of those things where as a guy you're like, this is so stupid, I have to see if I can do it.

SPEAKER_15

It's more like I'd rather spend five hours on the boat or six hours on the boat than five hours in a car.

SPEAKER_12

Okay, but there's no way in reverse you go half the speed you go forward.

SPEAKER_15

You're right. It would have been like it would have been like 15 hours, man. It would have been tedious, man.

SPEAKER_07

It would have been a great story for the show, though.

SPEAKER_15

So that's what I was thinking, though. Like, no matter what, even this, like when this happened, like my wife was devastated, my in-laws were devastated, and I'm like, the where the where we pulled in to get gas, there was a beautiful restaurant.

SPEAKER_12

Anthony's wallet was devastated.

SPEAKER_15

It certainly was. We pull in to the gas station to get gas, and the dye's right there. There's a beautiful restaurant there, and I'm like, guys, I'm not letting it ruin my day. Like, let's go. It took two hours for Sito to even get there. So I'm like, let's go up to the restaurant. We went up, we had lunch, hanging out, and then Sito came and they picked me up and said goodbye to them. And then my wife fell asleep on the boat on the way back. And I sat there with my head in my hands, like this, just like, are you kidding me? I can't believe this happened. So now I don't even know what went wrong with the boat. Like, I still have to drop it off and find out. It could be simple, as simple as the the shifter cable snapped, which is like no problem at all. That'll be covered under warranty of the motor that I just put in. Or it could be the lower unit, which is not covered under warranty, and it could be who knows.

SPEAKER_12

I don't even want to think like that.

SPEAKER_07

I actually I have a similar story. So uh on Saturday, um, I was out driving. I I drive a Hyundai Elantra, okay? Like the the worst car on earth, and um it was pouring down rain. I didn't know it was gonna get so bad. I'm going out to uh to to get my wife some dinner, and I get stuck in water. There's water just flowing on the street, and so I called my father-in-law, he comes out, he's got a big Dodge Ram. Um, these really nice people. Um, their house was actually getting like oh man, my battery died. Hey, hold on, I'll be back, guys.

SPEAKER_12

The suspense, his car got flooded. I had a great time on the four-wheeler this week, and everything worked perfect.

SPEAKER_15

Oh, it's new.

SPEAKER_12

Don't worry, it's taken it's a used four-wheeler, but uh it's new.

SPEAKER_15

My boat was used, it took a few years before I had any issues with it. It just well, everybody was saying, like, uh, the best day for a boater is the day you buy and the day you sell. And it's like, I hate people that say that. Like, you yes, the boat has cost a lot of money over the years. You could not put a price tag on the memories I've had and made with that boat, though. Like my children grew up water skiing and tubing, and like you can't put a price tag on that. It was just all right. So, what happens with the car? It's flooded.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, so so there's these people, their house is literally like about to flood, like there's water up to their porch. It was a crazy storm, and they come out, they walk out in knee-deep water, put help me push my car um out of the way. We get it onto this side road. Um, but I'm pretty sure the dang thing's total. So um the guy that came and uh and towed it the next day told me that never buy a Hyundai Elantra or any Kia, any Kia sedan. He said that those two things alone, um it says they it pays their company, it's like insurance. They do it, they do it so much. Um they he said they've he's towed an unbelievable amount of uh Hyundai's and Kias. So I will never again buy a Hyundai or a Kia.

SPEAKER_12

My new truck's been in the shop for a week.

SPEAKER_07

Well, my wife drives my wife drives a King Ranch F-150. She's like more of a man than I am.

SPEAKER_15

So I'm honestly it's kind of the duty of the husband to put the wife in the nicer vehicle and you suck it up and you drive the crap box. It's just what we do. Like you you you drive the crap mobile and you let your wife drive the nicer vehicle. So the sacrifices men make for their wives.

SPEAKER_12

It's true. I I was watching videos of uh then they go and sideswipe something with the three-year-old band, three-day band.

SPEAKER_15

I was I was watching a video uh today. Some guy was showing uh all these women complaining about being single and how expensive it is to be single, and they they were mad that they're watching videos of other women who have boyfriends, and how when you have a boyfriend, they're there to split the bill, and it and life is so much cheaper. And it's like, no, it's not when you have a boyfriend, you split the bill. It's like when you have a boyfriend, your boyfriend pays all of the bill, and your money is your own to spend as you like. Like it's not, it's cheaper for a man to be single, it's more expensive for a woman to be single. Like, if you're a man, you don't need anything. Like, men are content with nothing. So we won't spend our money on nonsense. Like, but if you have a girl, now all of a sudden you're going apple picking, and now all of a sudden you're going to this nonsense thing, and now you gotta go on a picnic here, and now you gotta go to this restaurant, and they want to go to this thing, and they want to women just want to do things that cost money, so it's as soon as you're with a girl, it's just a siphon of your wallet, just sucking everything out of you. But if you're a single guy, you're not spending any money.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, I just had a uh one of my buddies just bought his wife a car, and literally the next day she ran into something with it. It happened one day later. Why do you he was so pissed off?

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, he should well. It's kind of like I look at it like the boat. You buy a boat and you just expect things to go wrong. You buy a woman a car and you expect things to go wrong. It's just it's just how things go. Oh man. Um, let me see. Do we have anything else we wanted to cover?

SPEAKER_01

Um, not really.

SPEAKER_15

After after the after the weekend I had, I was just, you know, uh I'm just sh fried. I feel bad, Alex, like having you on for this episode. Like we should have had something prepared. It's just no, it's alright.

SPEAKER_06

I'm good.

Who We Want To Interview Next

SPEAKER_15

What in what interviews you got coming up?

SPEAKER_07

Oh, I have nothing on the books right now. Um, actually, uh we don't technically have it scheduled, but we'll tuck it all be on at some point. We've been talking for many months. Um, I think we're gonna have a pretty cool conversation. Um other than that, I don't I don't think I have anything lined up. Oh, um Christian Bergsma. John Bergsma's son.

SPEAKER_14

John Bergsma's.

SPEAKER_07

We we've we've been in touch. He may be on at some point. Um and uh um I don't think anybody else, but I've got a I've got a couple of we're actually we're my wife and I are moving um here in we're either moving on the 23rd or the 30th. And uh so I'm I'm got like one more video in me before before I gotta get off for a while and get the family moved.

SPEAKER_15

I got a DM from Scott Hanson the other day.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's cool.

SPEAKER_15

He was in England and he said, I just met some guys over here in England who follow your show.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, nice.

SPEAKER_15

He just have you so you've have you been in touch with him uh before David Hans sent me a few DMs. Uh and I just responded to him and said, Oh, that's uh I said, give him my best. I said, I'm going to see your father in September. He's coming to Long Island with Bergsma. So I'm going to see Scott Hahn and John Bergsma in September. I'm gonna see if I can maybe swindle an interview. We'll see. I don't know. It depends if they know me or not. If they know me, I got no shot. If they don't know me, I got no shot. It's like if they've never heard of me, we might get the interview.

SPEAKER_07

You're just gonna start right off with the JQ with them immediately.

SPEAKER_12

Man on the street with Scott Hahn about the Jews.

SPEAKER_15

If I got Hahn on, I would want to discuss Romans 9 through 11. Like a deep dive into Romans.

SPEAKER_07

No, but I mean in your private conversation with them.

SPEAKER_15

I'm I'm going to have to think about that. Um because there's a few things I've wanted to talk to Scott Hahn about. One was the Danielic mystery in the book of Ephesians, um, and the other is Romans 9 through 11.

SPEAKER_12

But I'm so glad we're gonna have new content.

SPEAKER_15

I don't know if it's like if that's the kind of thing you just walk up and like you're getting a book sign, you say, hey, let's discuss Romans 9 through 11. You know, I don't know.

SPEAKER_13

Sure.

SPEAKER_15

It's all going to be about if he recognizes me and knows who I am. Which I don't think he would recognize my face. I'm sure he's heard the name Avoiding Babylon, though.

SPEAKER_07

Just because we have to. Although that means I'm I can't imagine how busy he is.

SPEAKER_15

Yeah. Bergsma probably knows us better than you know what made me think he might know us is that Heshmeier's wife knew who we were. Like Joe Joe Heshmeier. When we did the video talking about Joe Heshmeyer's uh kid, yeah, Joe played it at his house, and his wife goes, Is that Anthony? She heard my voice and she recognized my voice, and he was like, How do you know who Anthony is? It's like I love all these guys, their wives are secret A V. fans man it's actually amazing funny well bergs my son definitely knows who you guys are really yeah yeah he was just on uh he was just on Steven's show recently he's he's he's a really he's a sharp guy Steven Stephen Cox really wait a minute no way oh yeah that's i hope I hope I'm not like no because I saw he had Christian Bergsman I didn't think it was John Bergsmuth's son yes because it's such a common last name I sure hope I'm not like saying that and I'm not supposed to I mean he it it his name's public on there so I would assume it's not too much of a I saw Steven had Christian Bergsman on I I just I was like that can't be like I it's literally what I thought I thought the same thing too by the way I really hope that that's that that that's uh public information and I didn't just blow a spot now I have to watch that episode I didn't watch that episode with Cox that's actually yeah it's on biblical modernism um yeah it's good good episode so wait so what's what's Christian Bergsma's position on some of this stuff like what's this I've I've not talked to him that much i'm not I'm not 100% sure how'd you get in touch with him uh American reform no I mean so yeah if you if you on YouTube search Christian bergsma biblical modernism even's interview with him is the first uh okay yeah so it's public I just hope I didn't blow the spot that like I don't know I mean if he's going by his name it's not he's going by his name I'm so in oh my gosh I need to know the dynamic his name on X is like Catholicism and Creation he he does like he posts like young earth stuff um yeah he's he's a we've talked to him very little but he seems like a good guy then what's his name on on uh on X Catholicism and Creation I think it's like at YE Catholic or something uh something like that okay yep I see him yeah so he posts um a lot of stuff about you blocked him why do I have him blocked you blocked him I had him blocked oh no my gosh why did I have him block oh no he must have been really annoying he says he's good friends with American Reform yeah the interview I did with American Reform is also one of my favorites yeah we need to have him on again dude he has a we need a name for this type of histrionic and try hard defense of women who try to teach and correct men in the tradosphere is the BLM TLM phenomenon but with feminism yo this this is Bergman's son is based why do I have him blocked oh no why would I have him blocked he might have been an annoying sede like this the only people I block I really don't know uh know his his full position on things why e cast I am so interested to put this is too funny all right I'm gonna follow him see and see what happens um hold on can I blow someone else's spot while we're on local yeah for sure dude have you guys seen have you guys called him crazy in a tweet what happened so you you tweeted uh name some things cradle trads need to endure before they can claim Catholic street street cred he replies having a oh you didn't call him crazy you said this was crazy he replies having a priest give you absolution and dismiss you before you even mentioned any sins because he knew the confession line was long I had this happen to me you said that's crazy those are the why did you have him block that's the only interaction I had with him on your timeline that's all he can see yeah um let me see on his sorry guys for the slow episode but this is juicy goss we need to know what's going on here let's see if I can find something on his timeline Rob I'm gonna DM you uh okay something or someone's account that I I'm curious if you guys are I not only unblocked him I followed him like I just followed him too he's gonna be like wait a minute both avoiding battle is following me wait why is nothing coming up Rob you search his timeline maybe it's coming I did it there's nothing besides that on his either so okay yeah I I just got it Alex are you familiar with this guy uh he follows me but I don't follow him okay so I'm convinced this guy either is like not real and that's just that picture of him is just straight up AI yeah but I I know for a fact he uses AI for all of his content.

AI Content подозрions And Internet “Ops”

SPEAKER_07

He's got no no Eric Eric Moyer I don't know if he's carnivore but he'll post stuff so he's if you look at his sub stacks he'll post like very very long articles like two or three days apart and I mean they're super long and then when he posts about him you can tell the post that he's making about the article is also itself written by AI. So I actually DM'd him earlier today because he's been I've seen him around for a while and I told him I was like man you need to stop using AI like I've reached out to him privately because I'm like you know for your own sake you need to stop doing this because it's obvious um and he's got like a pretty significant following and in fact he's written articles for culture wars for for Dr. Jones magazine and I'm convinced he's writing everything with AI and so he sends me a message back and the message is written with AI. I was like dude this is so obvious.

SPEAKER_12

How do people do that? It could be an AI it could be an AI agent like not even a real person.

SPEAKER_15

It could be like this picture of him doesn't even look real I don't know I just I reached out to him privately and he was unwilling to uh admit that he was using it so I figured I'd interesting blow spot I'm trying to think if there's any other any other tea we could give out for Molly Molly loves when we spill tea on this side I can't see the chat is anyone familiar with Christian Bergman yeah I'm curious everybody in the chat should go follow him right now he's gonna be like what happened everybody in the chat should go follow him at YE Catholic gosh I really hope I didn't blow his spot with who his dad is that's gonna be well I mean he if he like you said he put his name up publicly but it's just it I'm really wondering why I blocked him it might I'm really wondering why I would have blocked the there's only two things I block for and like one is like insulting my wife and uh the other set is yeah but I don't even block SETI's anymore I like I'll mute them but like he might have made like a he might have been like kidding and made a joke about my wife and I took and I just like that's my like nobody gets to say anything like I don't know I just block it immediately.
