Abundant + Aligned

Crafting a premium brand that manifests high-paying clients

Jess Martin

Fallen into the trap of believing more is the answer? More posts, more content, more noise.

In this episode, I’m unpacking why volume will never replace mastery, and how the most magnetic entrepreneurs create presence that speaks for them, without chasing trends or flooding their feeds.

Inside, you’ll discover:

  • Why premium clients are magnetised by clarity, certainty, and intentionality, not by volume.
  • How your inner confidence and energetic state translate directly into client attraction.
  • The role of a premium brand in creating an elevated presence online where every detail is intentional.
  • Tangible shifts you can make to step away from “proving” and step fully into your magnetic identity.

As Nikola Tesla famously said: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” The same applies here: when your frequency aligns with the women you want to work with, clients appear, not because you post more, but because your presence is undeniable.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Abundant and Aligned podcast, a place where you will come to realize anything you desire is possible. I'm Jess mindset and business coach, and I'm on a mission to lead women to a life far from average. In this show, you can expect conversations around manifestation, subconscious reprogramming, entrepreneurship and the daily habits of a woman living a life that is both successful and fun. Imagine a TED talk, but over wine. My wish for you is that you experience an unlimited flow of money, a business that attracts your dream clients and the freedom to spend your time how you choose, and if you stick with me, that will soon be your reality. I'm honored to be on the journey with you, so let's get into it, which somewhat brings us to today's episode. I wanted to share some changes I've made in my business and, in particular, when it comes to my online presence and the huge shift I've seen in the caliber of clients dropping into my orbit, as well as the caliber of opportunities that I have seen land within my business. So we are talking to, I guess, premium client attraction in a brief way for the podcast today. A brief way for the podcast today and, yeah, as usual, I am sharing some takeaways that you can implement the moment you get off this episode.

Speaker 1:

But first for an update, and I guess the like the main reason for the big shifts that I've noticed in my business recently. I shared, a couple of months ago now, three episodes that were quite vulnerable and I was just opening up about how I was feeling in my business at that time and, in particular, how I was feeling when it came to showing up online. At that time I was really questioning how I wanted to show up online and the type of content I wanted to post, because I was really I was getting pissed off with social media. It was feeling so noisy, I was finding everyone's content and I mean I still do find this, but this was kind of my reflection back then. Everyone's content was looking the same, sounding the same and I didn't want to be a part of that noise. Obviously, I love being online. It's one of my main marketing avenues into all of my programs and offers. So it's not that I wanted to go anywhere, but I just wanted my content to be intentional and on purpose and not just there for the sake of it. So I really pulled back and questioned who I wanted to be online, the content that I was putting out into the world and, most importantly, the experience that all of my followers had when they came across a piece of my content and I wanted them to feel the intention behind it and not just scroll past it because it was so part of all of the other noise online. So I don't know if you guys have noticed the shift on social media, but every piece of content is so carefully curated. Everything I say on social media is on purpose and if I don't have something intentional to say, I'm not online at all.

Speaker 1:

And I have seen an incredible shift, as I've mentioned, in terms of the opportunities and the clients that are landing in my business, and I believe it is a reflection to the shifts that I've made and that I will be sharing with you today. Yeah, in particular, some incredible speaking opportunities have landed in the DMs and what's been really exciting about that Not only have they asked me to come and be a speaker at their event, but they've also identified the topic that I could speak on at their event, which I think is really cool, because not only have I created a presence that they want at their event, but I have also showcased my mastery and my expertise, so they also know what I could speak on, and I think that is absolute gold, especially in a world where everyone is doing so much of the same. To really stand out and for you to be able to tell people clearly what it is that you do is a skill that is worth learning. So, yeah, feeling incredible about social media and it is landing in the way that I wanted it to, and yeah, again, these tips are going to help. But premium client attraction is definitely where you want to be if you want to master everything that I've done.

Speaker 1:

But for today's episode, following on from that little update, I really wanted to dive into a myth that so many entrepreneurs get trapped in, and that is posting more is the way to attract more clients. So I'm going to assume, as we move through, you want to attract either more clients or you want to attract clients who pay you more. So it may not necessarily be quantity, but you may just want the clients that are coming into your world to pay you more per client. So, yeah, essentially this episode is for you. If you do often think maybe I just need to be more consistent, pump out some more content, post daily, do more reels in order to attract more clients or more higher paying clients, and, yeah, essentially this episode is going to be your wake up call, because what I'm going to make clear is more posts don't equal more premium clients.

Speaker 1:

So what I've mastered and what I have done is I've created a magnetic presence online, and that didn't come from flooding the feed, as I've mentioned. I've pulled back on my how much I'm posting and, in particular, what I'm posting, and it's yeah, it really came down to building deep confidence in my expertise, which is an inside job, and then, of course, creating a premium brand where every detail truly matters. So that's ultimately what I'm taking you through today how I've created that magnetic presence online and the inside job that's required in order to do that, as well as what the front facing work has looked like, but what I really want you to remember, as we move through today's episode and as you move through your business, premium clients and what we mean by a premium client is those are the clients that pay without hesitation. They don't need convincing, they don't need you to prove why your work matters. They are already out there looking for your service, looking for your product, they have the money and they want to spend their money with you. They are a premium client. That's what I mean when I say a premium client.

Speaker 1:

But the thing with those premium clients is they aren't scrolling for volume. They are magnetized by precision, certainty and mastery. And so, knowing that, it immediately debunks this belief that you need to be posting more in order to attract more clients. It may work if you are talking to the masses and you just want a lot of clients for the sake of it, but I'm pretty confident that's not who you are. You want to really speak to those premium clients who purchase effortlessly. Again, they are self-led, they are ambitious, they will get themselves in the rooms, they will buy the product, they will seek out the service and they don't need you to drag them along in order to do that, and they're more than happy to pay your higher rate.

Speaker 1:

So, knowing this. We really want to position your online presence towards them. And again, they are looking for precision, they are looking for certainty and they are looking for that mastery. And not only are they looking for this, they can feel it. So just before I mentioned your confidence is number one and I mentioned that is an inside job and a lot of women I know are showing up online just posting for the sake of it, but really lacking confidence in what they actually do bring to the table, and they're also doubting if people care about what they're posting. They are assuming that those in their audience can't afford their product or their service and that's why they're seeing the outcomes that they are.

Speaker 1:

And it's the simple truth that if you doubt the sale, those premium clients will feel that doubt. If you are desperate for the sale, they'll feel that and be repelled by it. And if you're really proving why they should purchase the product or want the service, they'll feel that and again be repelled by it. So before you look at any content strategy, before you worry about your content pillars or how and when to post and whatever, you must have confidence in yourself and trust that there are people out there looking for whatever it is that you do so. Your confidence is number one. And if you are jumping into premium client attraction, I help you flex your confidence, muscle and reprogram your mind to feel worthy to work with these clients who are willing to pay you more for the work that you already do. So your confidence is number one.

Speaker 1:

The next thing I really want you to know is your energy sells before your words do, and one of my favorite quotes by Nikola Tesla is sorry, nikola Tesla, if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy frequency and vibration. And when you really do understand that, those dream clients start to drop into your world, because they are just an energetic potential. And, as I've mentioned before, clients don't come. Premium clients don't come because you're flooding the feed. They come because of the energy and the frequency behind what you share. And this is why, if you are just posting for the sake of it, just to be on the feed and just to please the algorithm, but you aren't getting clients, it's because the energy behind that piece of content sucks. So there's no point you posting more and more and more and more if, when you are posting, you feel the doubt within your business. You are questioning if anyone cares, because that is what's being felt by the premium clients, no matter how good that reel is, no matter how trending that audio is. So this is why it's so important to anchor a state of certainty and confidence before you do, or before you do, anything in your business.

Speaker 1:

But, given we are talking about your online presence, before you show up online, you must change your state, and Tony Robbins often talks about what's called a power pose or the Wonder Woman pose, and studies have found that by holding this power pose for just two minutes has the potential to decrease cortisol by 18%, increase the chance of taking a risk which is obviously paramount for a leader by 33% and changes your biochemistry by 20%, just by holding a state for two minutes. And if you aren't familiar with the power pose that Tony Robbins talks about, imagine that you are standing up right now. Your head is held high, your shoulders are back and low and your chest is puffed out, your arms are down by your side and you are in this stance of power, of success, of I am the goddamn queen, the Wonder Woman pose. If you can do that, it automatically shifts your state, which shifts your energy, which will shift your broadcast, which will shift the outcomes that that piece of content is going to create in your business. So this is particularly important for those who are just posting for the sake of it. They're feeling shit when they post. They hate the piece of content, but they're just doing it anyway because they saw some social media post that told them more is more.

Speaker 1:

In the Instagram landscape or the social media landscape, you're getting so wrapped up with the algorithm so you just think more and more and more will equal more, and you're not actually saying that, and it's because of the energy that you're sending this content out with. So that power pose is something that you could do, and I mean you could make this even more powerful by not just standing in this Wonder Woman position, but actually using your voice. So, whether you want to just repeat some affirmations or scream or sing, maybe you want to put some music on and, while you're in that power pose, actually start to move your body around, move that stagnant doubt energy out of your body until you feel confident, until you're like actually you know what. I am so goddamn good at what I do. The world needs to know what this piece of content is teaching them and I'm sending this real out. I'm posting this story, I'm sending this carousel out with this energy of expectation that it's going to land in front of a premium client who will see it, they'll feel it and they'll buy from me instantly. So put that one in your toolbox.

Speaker 1:

The power pose, the wonder woman pose, and if you want to learn more about that, just YouTube Tony Robbins, the power pose, the wonder woman pose. And if you want to learn more about that, just YouTube Tony Robbins, the power pose, and he'll talk about that. But it's just a change in your posture which changes your chemistry, your energy and then, ultimately, your life, because your energy is creating everything in your life. Again, going back to that Tesla quote, if you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy frequency and vibration. So that's the energetic game behind a good piece of content. And I guess mastering your frequency will be the difference between sending out a piece of content that doesn't convert into clients and sending out a piece of content that has people in your DMs wanting you to speak at their event, new clients asking for the link to buy, people enrolling in your program, without you even knowing they were in your orbit. So we've spoken about confidence and energy. And, yeah, again, just remember that clients don't come because you're flooding the feed. They come because of the energy and frequency behind what you share. Put that on your forehead, then moving through to, then moving through to mastery over quantity.

Speaker 1:

And I mentioned before that, after this little hissy fit that I had with social media, where I was just so done with the noise and everyone's content looking the same and I didn't want to be online, let alone market myself online I really did pull back on what I was doing and made sure that when I was online, I was super intentional and I was there to. I was super intentional and I was there to say something important. Otherwise I didn't worry about being there. And this is because I really understood that premium clients are looking for mastery and not volume. So this is an invitation to remind yourself what is your area of expertise, what is it that you want the world to know you by? And figuring out that and talking about it over and over and over again. A quote by Bruce Lee said I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Speaker 1:

Again, it's not about quantity for these premium clients, it's about mastery. So really showcasing that thing that you are good at, that piece of value that you know will change your client's life or business or whatever it is that you do, standing in that mastery and making it known and remembering that premium clients aren't swayed by how much you post. They're magnetized, they respond to the depth and the clarity of your message. So I guess it is an invitation to pull back on your content and only be there when you've got something valuable to share and that mastery is very obvious within that piece of content. Again, we talk about this in the new offer, by the way.

Speaker 1:

And then the final shift that I made and this has been an ongoing thing, but I've really dialed this up in the last couple of months, particularly with this new offer premium client attraction and it is being so, so intentional with my brand visuals and the messaging AKA who I'm speaking to within my content. So again, this has been something I've been quite consistent with, but being really intentional with what people see when they look at your brand. So, given we are here talking about social media, we'll just focus on that. But obviously your brand is showcased on your website, on your invoices, quotes that you send out, tiktok, youtube, the podcast, however else. You market and share your brand with the world. But when it comes to social media, I am so intentional with what is being shown online and every piece of content is so curated. Every piece of content is so curated.

Speaker 1:

I am meticulous about those visuals. So, what I'm wearing, I have a color palette within my brand that is the beige and the browns. So I am very, yeah, very meticulous about wearing outfits that are within that color palette when I am sharing content. And if it happens to be that I'm not wearing that color palette, I very rarely will post the content. For example, you guys may see my morning routine content quite often online and I'm in my white pajamas, my white satin pajamas, reading my book or having my coffee. If I happen to be wearing pink pajamas that morning, I won't create content for my morning routine because pink isn't a part of my color palette and it just doesn't make sense for my brand visuals.

Speaker 1:

I am really meticulous about where I am and what I'm doing when I create content. So, for example, a big part of my brand is that luxurious, elegant look, so I'm usually pretty dressed up when I am in my content my hair's done, my makeup's done. Again, I'm wearing an outfit that is within that color palette a nice blazer, a nice outfit and that's when I'll create content. But obviously I'm not like that all the time. When I get home from the gym I am a red tomato with that much sweat through my hair. You could cook chips in the oil. I am in my sweaty gym clothes and, yeah, like that's what I look like sometimes. But I am not creating content when I am in that outfit and looking that way, because that isn't in alignment with my brand. So I'm not saying you can't create content like that.

Speaker 1:

If you are a fitness brand or a big message is going to the gym and working out, then showing up online would make sense. Showing up online like that would make sense for you, but that doesn't make sense for my brand. So I don't create content when I am all sweaty after the gym or if I am creating content. I'm also really intentional with where I am creating content. So whether I am in my office, because that makes sense, or I am in my car, or I am on holidays, a big value within my brand is freedom, so that makes sense. Again, I wouldn't create a piece of content. Very rarely would I create a piece of content all sweaty in my gym clothes while I'm in the kitchen making a smoothie, because, again, that's just not in alignment with my brand, the experience, the visuals that I have created.

Speaker 1:

I'm also quite intentional with what I'm doing in my content or what I'm holding. So wine is a piece of my brand. Of course it's completely separate to my business, but having a glass of red wine while I'm in this really nice outfit ties in with that brand experience that you can see from me online so often. I'll be intentional, create a piece of content, like talking to camera in, say, an outfit that's in alignment with that color palette, while having a glass of wine. What you're seeing there is so intentional outfit, holding the wine, which is like a mastery, a marker within my business, that you can start to associate me with Um yeah, outfit, the color palette, holding a glass of wine, and then, obviously, talking about my area of expertise, which is the subconscious mind, the energetics behind premium client attraction and making more money in your business, whatever. So, again, like that is also on purpose and so intentional. So really just thinking about what your brand is and what that brand experience is going to be and then make it, give it that premium touch.

Speaker 1:

And yeah, like I mentioned with the wine and I love the idea of having a like a brand marker or a few brand markers that people start to associate your brand with so with the red wine, for example, start to associate your brand with so with the red wine, for example I will often share content of me working while I'm having a wine or at a hotel lobby bar with a glass of wine and my laptop. People are now starting to associate that experience and that vibe with me and my brand to the point where I'll have people working at a hotel lobby bar or having a glass of wine while they're working and they'll actually tag me and say things like I'm channeling Jess Martin today. That's because I've meticulously put that in my content, or I've created these scenes over and over and over again whereby when people are in those scenes within their own life, or utilizing these markers within their own life, or utilizing these markers within their own life, they think of me and that is really really, really clever branding, so creating a premium brand. And it doesn't always when we say premium it doesn't mean you have to be dolled up to the nines and working from a hotel lobby bar, but the term premium is just intentional, in alignment with mastery and being well known for something doing it well. Again, it could be the messy, sweaty look while you make your smoothie in the kitchen, if that's your thing, but still make it look premium. Give it this premium touch, this elevation, so it's an experience when people are seeing it. So that's kind of the visuals and then, of course, the messaging. So in all of my content I know who I'm speaking to. I'm speaking to premium clients who don't need convincing. They have the money and they want to spend their money on services that I provide, and so I'm speaking to them. We talk about how to speak to premium clients more in premium client attraction. That's another thing that's really intentional.

Speaker 1:

And again, if I am putting up a caption and I am having a day where I you know those days where you're just trying to write a caption and you put something together, but it's just put together for the sake of it, just to get it out, and it's a little bit fluffy, it's not. It doesn't sound that great, it's not speaking to the right person, but you just kind of just get it up anyway. I used to just post content like that. I would create the content and then just write a random caption to get it out. But now, if my caption doesn't speak directly to the premium client that I'm speaking to, it doesn't have a beautiful flow, then I will not post at all that day until I have not perfected the caption but dialed my messaging in a way where it does hit all of the points we want it to hit in order to speak to these premium clients.

Speaker 1:

So your messaging and that's not just your written messaging in your captions, it's the way that you talk to your audience online. Are you talking to people who need convincing and who are in victim and who want the cheapest price possible and who will negotiate and who will have objections? Or are you speaking to those premium clients who have the money, they want to spend their money on a service or product that you sell and they're ready to go? They just need the link to purchase, they just need the link to apply, they just need the website page. They're much further along on that buyer journey, which is something we also talk about in premium client attraction. So, yeah, being intentional with who you're speaking to in every piece of messaging and giving that a premium feel, a premium touch to it as well. So we have covered your energy is number one.

Speaker 1:

So confidence in what it is that you sell, confidence in yourself, the woman behind the brand, and then, of course, your frequency when you are showing up online and then mastering the visuals, the experience of your brand, so that it is premium and people actually want to be in your world. They notice your content, they feel your content and when you can create that, they want to buy from you. So that is the myth that posting more is the way to attract clients Busted. The myth has been busted and instead I've given you a much more magnetic approach to showing up online. That isn't about flooding the feed, but instead about showing up with precision, certainty and mastery so that you get the attention of those premium clients who aren't there for the volume. They are there for your expertise and for an experience that screams premium. I hope that has helped plenty in there for you to implement in your business.

Speaker 1:

And when it comes to showing up online, of course would love to see you or am so excited to see you in premium client attraction, linked in the show notes below.
