SPEAKER_00:

Welcome back to the Abundant and Align podcast. Today I am joined by a female entrepreneur who is also a client inside my business mastermind, her empire. Naomi is a seven-figure interior stylist working in some of the most prestigious areas around Sydney. She's also the founder of a coaching brand for interior designers and stylists, helping them in her program, The Stylist Club, and also her mastermind Empire House. I'm really excited for today's conversation. Not only will you get a behind-the-scenes look into what it's like being inside her empire and hear about the transformations that are taking place in that mastermind, but Naomi will also be sharing with you all the gifts that positioned her as the go-to brand in her industry and how she grew that brand to seven figures. The tweets that she made to her coaching brand this year that transformed her offers from a$96 per month membership into offers that are premium and priced at$4,000,$6,000. She also shares the energetic and strategic move that helped her sell out her first live event this year. And you'll also learn some of the branding sessions that have really made her stand out in her industry, not by being louder, but by cultivating a very magnetic presence. So again, I'm really excited for you to learn from Naomi today, hear her story, and see how her empire can also help you and your business. So let's get into it. Welcome to the Abundant and Aligned podcast, a place where you will come to realise anything you desire is possible. I'm Jess, mindset and business coach, and I'm on a mission to lead women to a life far from outreach. In this show, you can expect conversations around manifestation, subconscious reprogramming, entrepreneurship, and the daily habits of a woman living a life that is both successful and fun. Imagine a TED talk but over wine. My wish for you is that you experience an unlimited flow of money, a business that attracts your dream clients, and the freedom to spend your time how you choose. And if you stick with me, that will soon be your reality. I'm honoured to be on the journey with you, so let's get into it. Hello everyone and welcome back to the Abundant and Align podcast. I'm really excited for our episode today. I have one of my incredible clients, Naomi, here with us, who is a seven-figure interior stylist working in some of the most prestigious areas in Sydney. And then more recently, she has launched an incredible coaching brand whereby she essentially helps other women do what she has done in the interior styling, interior design space. And she is currently in her empire and absolutely smashing it, doing all of the things from webinars to in-person events. She's also doing her styling jobs off to the side. She's got the cutest little baby, and she is just the perfect example of what a her empire woman is. So I had to bring her on to the podcast today because as you guys know, we are in the middle of a launch. We're filling 2026 spots. And I thought, who better to hear hear it from than someone who's actually in the thick of it? So, Naomi, welcome to the podcast. Thank you, Jess.

SPEAKER_01:

What a wonderful introduction. I was like, yeah, yeah, that's true. I feel really good today.

SPEAKER_00:

I love it. Well, thank you so much for coming on to the show and grateful for you. So grateful for you. And I'm just so excited to highlight your businesses here today and for you just to talk about what this year has entailed. Because when we think about it, it's been a massive, massive year for you.

SPEAKER_01:

It's been huge. And I feel like, and first of all, thank you. I'm so excited to be here, Jess. Like so many good things. I would be here way too long speaking about all the amazing things. But um, I feel like I was having this conversation yesterday. I feel like everyone's had a massive year this year. Like it is like we are ready to clock off and have that holiday because it's like a year in a good way. Like when I say busy, I feel like everyone's had a really growth type of year where we're just hitting goals, we're like really in the thick of it and seeing it happen in real time. So I feel like, yeah, everyone's just ready to clock off, but like cheers into that amazing 2025.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, there's no better feeling than clocking off at the end of the year, knowing you gave the year your absolute all and you're actually celebrating so much. Like it's the best kind of clock-off champagne you'll ever have.

SPEAKER_01:

The champagne just tastes that little bit better. It does. We know we love our champagne.

SPEAKER_00:

So another reason why she's the perfect thing.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um well, as I've mentioned, I've given you a bit of an intro, but tell us, as someone who had built a seven-figure interior styling business, where were you at prior to jumping into her empire? Because the kind of women who do look at this mastermind aren't necessarily struggling in their business. They aren't newbies to their business. They are making money, they are working with clients, but they're ready for that next level of support. So I'd love for you to rewind the clock and take us back to in the middle of this year when you did decide to jump into my world. Where were you at in your business? What had you already created and what was still missing for you?

SPEAKER_01:

Great question. And I love when we reflect back and it's just like, wow, how much has changed in the last six months? Literally. So when I first I've had my interior design and styling company for nearly 15 years. That makes me feel really old, but nearly 15 years. And as you know, Jess and everyone that joins, you know, my club is that I went through, I built it from nothing. I started with nothing, and I literally built a multi-figure business up from the from the ground up. And it was incredible. I learned all of the mistakes, I learned what not to do, what to do, and it just evolved year after year. And to a point where I live, you know, a life of luxury without that sounding ego-based, I do. And when I say that, luxury to me is having time with my son, having, you know, not glued to the computer, not having to be on site, you know, nine to five or what have you. And I've built that, and there is a method to what I built. Um, and I love my design jobs, you know, I'm at a point where all of my design jobs come in authentically. I wake up and I've got bookings in my calendar ready to go, and I position myself in that premium way. And I mean, so there's so much that goes into that, but I had done this to a point where I'm like, I want to teach people how to do this. This is incredible. And a lot of my friends, they still laugh at me, but like they actually thought, I think sometimes that I was lying about my about my workload or my lifestyle. Because I'm they're like, how doing this? You just bought a property, you're driving your dream car, like you have all I feel like you're never working, Naomi. Like, even my parents would say that to me. They're like, when do you actually work? And I'm like, I literally just finished a project over there, like my dream project in Palm Beach or Double Bay, like we work in beautiful areas. Again, I'm attracting my dream clients and I put a lot of work into that. But yeah, it got to this point where I saw a lot of struggling people and stylists in this situation where I was like, I can help them. And I love helping people and stylists create a world of wealth and know that it doesn't have to be that hard. They don't have to be in burnout. So I'm like, let's start a community, let's make this happen. Started, I launched an online course in 2000 uh in yeah, 2023. I was pregnant at the time, and it was how to build a property staging company, styling company, and it went really, really well. And I loved it. I remember I was out here when I was launching it, and I was like, this is amazing. And the feedback that I got was we love it, but we would love to continue this. We don't just want a course, we want to be in a community with you, Naomi. We want to do live coaching, and I couldn't do it at the time. I was a new mum, it just wasn't the right timing for me. Um, and plus, I was still working with projects and designers. So then I in 2025, Bobby was two, and I'm like, now I've got the time. I've seen a few things in the industry that I didn't like happening with coaching interior styles and designers. Um, and I thought, why don't I just see how it goes? Like take a leap of faith. And that's what I did in brand collective when I started. I didn't believe I would fail, and you know, here I am almost 15 years later. So in April, I started the Stylist Club. My god, I looked back at my logo the other day. I was like, what was I thinking? Oh my god. We've all been there, we've all been there. Yeah, yeah. Um, so I started, I sat down with my brother, who you know, Jess, and you know, marketing guru, and we're like, let's put together some classes, all those sorts of things. And we launched it. Um, and you were our very first guest speaker. I was that was amazing. You were, you were. I remember back then, I was living in Narramain at the time in the northern beaches, so very different background. Um, but yeah, so that's where I was. Anyway, we had you came on, Jess, and you were just amazing. I'm like, who is this woman? You were recommended by Alicia, and I just I loved your energy. There's something about you. I'm like, this girl, I need to learn more about this woman. Um, but that's so that's where I was when I met you, Jess. Literally, I was at the point I started in April, I think I was a couple of months in, and it looked the stylus colour looked very different to what it does now, obviously working with you, which we'll get into. But yes, I I was at a point where I was I had a lot of people coming. I think we had about 20, 25 straight off the bat. And then you came in, and I'm like, I think I can go up a few levels here. I need to talk to this woman.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and that's crazy to think that the stylist club only launched in April this year compared to what you've done in that time. I always thought that you'd had it longer than that. So that's yeah, solidify. Everyone does. You've had even more. Um okay, so you you had the idea for what the stylist club would look like, but just wanting the support in terms of how to create it, or do you think it was more the support to hold you up to show you that this can be something massive and let's throw absolutely everything into it and get it on the main stage? Combination of everything.

SPEAKER_01:

So everyone listening, I I I was probably still a little bit about, oh, coach, like mental, like okay. Watched, I researched you a lot, Jess. I was stalking you behind the scenes, and I'm like, this girl's got it on, but she's she's very smart, she's organized, she's professional, like that. You ticked all the boxes, and I was like, I I think I can take this to another level. You know me now, obviously. Um I am very ambitious, and I'm like, I want it, I want it all, and I want to do it the right way, and I want to be the best. I want it to be the best. I want to be the best, so I'm the best for my students. Um, so yeah, I was thinking all of the questions, pricing. I didn't really have much of an idea about an offer suite for coaching. Interior design stuff like totally different kettle of fish. That was done. But coaching was a whole new world for me. Um, I didn't know how to position the classes. Like you and I went through so much, even in our first call, Jess. Um, you know, how did I want to break up the platform? How what sort of pivotal, like you know, breaking it up into modules, like all those sorts of things that came into it. And then overall, as we know, mindset was the biggest thing, and especially launching something new, remembering that I'm worth the money, because I know we had this conversation in the beginning so often, Jess, when I was like, Oh, should I charge that much? I know that what I'm offering is worth it, but am I worth it? Like, I haven't been a coach for very long, and you just like whipped me into gear real fast, and it completely like so many mindset conversations we had led to the success that we are in right now. So that was such an important part, and that's something that led me to you as well, reflecting back, all of these things are dropping in now. But I was like, I hadn't, I had worked on mindset years and years ago, and I kind of moved away from that. I was in the masculine more, I was in the business, you know, all those sorts of things. And I'm like, I want to bring that back. I want, I think that's time for it to come back in. And again, watching you with you know, my students in the the speaker spot that you're in, I was like hanging on every word, and I'm like, yeah, I need this, this is really cool. She encompasses it, encompasses it all. Coaching, mindset, conf, all of those things. So that's really what led me to you, Jess, and what I felt I needed at that point.

SPEAKER_00:

And you've highlighted exactly what her empire is about, as I've mentioned at the start. You had built something so incredible, but when you go and do something new, even though you have the seven-figure business off to the side, immediately your mind goes back to I'm a beginner, I've got to charge low prices, I'm just getting started. And yes, often you just need to do the mindset work all over again to remember I'm bringing all of that to the table. I have built a seven-figure business, and now they're getting access to my brain, my knowledge, my wisdom, my experience, that no longer makes me a newbie. Even if I am technically new in this industry, I come with all of this experience. Um, and I think some people do forget that just generally, even if you are newer to an industry or newer to a space, they are getting access to everything that makes you up as the human being since the day you were born. And that's as I've mentioned, every book you've read, every experience, every lesson, every hurdle that you've had to overcome is now packaged up in you as the human being that they get access to. And sometimes people forget that. They forget what they actually do bring to the table. Um, so yeah, we've flexed. That's so true. Yeah. Yeah. Now, in the past six months, you have hosted the most incredible bougie in-person workshop. We've completely pivoted the Stylers Club, and you are just changing the game when it comes to coaching in this space. But I would love for you to share some of your highlights over the last few months in your business, but also in her empire, that you would love the audience to know.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, there's so many, there's so many jests. Um the biggest one. Oh god, I mean, going back to the beginning, even thinking back to when we first started, it feels like forever ago. And this is the thing, and some of my students say this in a lot of them in the Empire House that just wrapped up, it's like it's insane what you can do and accomplish in six months. And like it's it's next level when you really, and as you say, you know, we want to work with a certain type of woman, and the woman, you know, the women that you work with, Jess, are the same where it's like we're ready to go, we're not in victim mode, like we can really make shit happen fast. Um, so some of the highlights was the of course the event that we did, Jess, that you spoke at and that we worked so hard on. That was, I remember having the most you guys saw me in the telegram chat where I was like, oh my god, I think I'm gonna cancel. Um yeah, no, I don't, okay, no, guys, I'm I'm feeling really good. It's gonna go ahead. Yeah, no, I'm not feeling it. We're not selling like it was literally a roller coaster. That is entrepreneurship though. But the girls in the group have just become like, I love them and adore all of them because they supported me so much. Um, you know, and it's just what this group is and what you've created, just this this home for us all. So that was insane. That was something I cannot wait to do my next event after that. That was definitely a highlight um that just took me to a whole other level and the stylist club to a whole other level. And something, again, you know, me, I've probably some people might be like, I'm not ready to do that. I mean, I know I went through this, but it's like I've just started a few months ago, you know. I really, and I'm I'm just I I was just like, I want to do an event, I want to do this, I want to do a branding shoot. That's how I work. But the work that you did with me, Jess, to bring that together was amazing. And everything down to you know, the details that you that you really create in all of your deliveries, um, they're premium. So that was definitely a major one. Um, pricing has been huge, so and bringing clients in. So the work that we've done in Her Empire is you know, working out and really not being afraid to charge our worth. And it's crazy because I I do that with my eyes closed in the design company. As we were just saying, it's a very different, you've almost got to go back to those bare bones. Um, and that's where the support comes in with working with her empire. So definitely just, I mean, we've just increased, I think, by 30% the Stylist Club and the Empire House. And we've already we haven't even launched yet. We've got four people in. I haven't even done a proper post. Okay. Yeah. Um, and so that's been huge. Just seeing you can actually show your worth and the way you present it and position it as to yeah, people understand, they appreciate, and they're willing to pay because they want to work with you, and having that confidence to do so has been an absolute game changer. Um, I think, oh my god, there's so many inevitable moments, Jess. Mindset's been a huge thing for me, obviously, as I've mentioned that. Um, and just the way that you handle mentorship in general has really helped me because I am a mentor as well. And having you there, Jess, to bounce off, and is just you know, you're so experienced in this area that it's like, yeah, why didn't I think of that? That's so true. Like, that's such yes, that's what we should do in this situation. So it's it's almost like her empire with a whole new elevated premium money-making machine with the utmost confidence. Like, I wish we could do a before and after video of our of when we first started, because I feel like this has really changed me in every way, you know. So whether it's pinpointing certain things, I think the overall standout is just how I've changed as a new business owner in this aspect, in this whole new world, which is competitive, which is one of the main things I love that I took from you, Jess, is that ignore the noise, ignore all of the other coaches out there, you know, because it can like before you creep, and this is what I did interior design. Again, I'm in a new space. So that, yeah, just those little tidbits and things like that have just been absolutely priceless.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And I think one thing we can really say is a huge testament to, and you mentioned this at the start, is you have been ambitious, but you've done it right every time. So, your event, for example, yes, it was your first event in your first year within the coaching space, but you booked the most bougie, incredible hotel to do it from. You paid a lot of money for a videographer, you went the extra mile to get caps made and goodie bags made. You gave it this premium look, which is why you sold so many tickets and created the room that you did, but it's why it's now elevated you to this next level within your business. When people see that event and they see the marketing from that event, they immediately position you as this premium mentor and then look at the price tags that we've attached to everything and it makes sense. They're not being pushed away by the price tag, they look at what you have created and it makes sense, it represents the brand. Um, and again with the stylist club as well. When you first came into my world, that was a$96 membership. Yes. So it's a four and a half thousand dollar program. But again, that's backed up by the premium shifts you've made to the actual format of it, the incredible photo shoot you've just had that you paid a lot of money for. Like you've done it right, which is why the results have been what they've been. And I think that's why you've experienced so much growth in such a short amount of time because you haven't sat on things, and some people may wait several years before they invest this amount of money or do it this this right, but you were like, I don't care how new I am, I'm doing it like I've been here for years and years and years.

SPEAKER_01:

And that's a major component. And I feel like I learnt a lot of that just with my own business brand collective, where it's like I've always been big on positioning. You know, that's probably been my main, my main point of difference. Um, it's one of the biggest things that I teach. But with that, you need premium content, you need to show that you are worth, you need them to book in calls and know who you are and that they want to work with you before you've even opened your mouth. And that's what premium content does. It does the heavy lifting for you before you even. I no longer have to sell myself, I found with brand collective and also now with the Styles Car, which is where I wanted to get to. And yes, it just really happened a lot quicker than I thought it would. Um even my students have said that wrong because I have to DM them and let them know that the program was changing, and you know, I adore them. Um, and they said we knew it would happen. It's happened, you know, really quickly because you are who you are, and you know, you've you've done all these things. And I was like, um, yeah, it's just been amazing. But with that, you know, with that content, I will invest in a videographer who is now, you know, works in TV. I'm very particular with the tents that I work with. If I'm teaching my students that obviously I have to be true to my word, and that's just something I truly believe in. With the photo shoot I just did with Amy from Azuri, that was a fashion, she's a fashion editorial stylist. Again, I'm stepping away, I'm being different, I'm creating my own world, which in turn, you know, yes, I want to grab attention, but it's almost like it's more about this is what who I am. Like now you're seeing me because this is what I how I want you to feel. It's authentic when we don't no longer have to sit in a chair and have a bright light, white light and look, you know, a certain way because that's how interior stylists should look. Um, so I really I guess I love pushing the boundaries, and that's something that this coaching world has allowed me to do. I do it with interior design, but it took me a while to get there. So doing all these things and you know, pushing the boundaries, breaking your ground, it's like it's so much fun. Like I'm literally having so much fun.

SPEAKER_00:

And this is her empire energy. We aren't here to build another business. We are here to build an empire. And in order to do so, you have to be willing to push beyond the edge. You have to be willing to do things a little bit different and then have the confidence to do it differently. I think that's can be a trap for some entrepreneurs. They may get the download to do it different, but then they immediately look around to see if anyone else is doing it that way in their industry. And if they're not, they then hold themselves back. But in her empire, we're so big. I even tell people block every single person on your social media within your industry. I don't want you to know what they're doing. I don't want you to be swayed by what they're doing. I want you to listen to the little niggle and then act accordingly. And because of the type of women that come into her empire, those downloads, those niggles, those ideas to do it differently, they're all sitting within there. You know, you guys have been born to do it different, but it is very easy to ignore that if you are so caught up with what's going around. The moment you turn that noise down, you've now got this clear runway to act on it all. And that's why we see the growth that you've had over the last year. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01:

Exactly, Jess. And it's like what we say, we were like, go and have that quiet moment. That's when most of your creativity and amazing thoughts will drop in. Like it's so true. And yeah, you told me like that exact thing, block out anything that's affecting your path. Um, and it was a really pivotal, pivotal moment. Because if you look, you'll find, and then you'll be like, oh, they're talking about what I'm talking about. Does that mean I'm I mean, you and I had this conversation, you know, like it happens for the best of us, where it's like, doesn't matter what anyone else is doing, stay in your own lane. And that's yeah, the women in her empire, where it's just like we are here to reach new heights, skyrocket, and just as I say to my girls, set the world on fire. You know?

SPEAKER_00:

We wanted heads. And before we hit record today, we're talking about Naomi's recent photo shoot that she's done. And as you mentioned, you brought in this um editorial style photographer, so it's not going to look like every other coaching photo shoot does. And you're like, it was a little bit raunchy, some of them, like my leg was out and my boobs were showing. I'm like, I love it. And I know you're going to love it as well because it's different. It's going to turn heads, it's going to, you know, set the world on fire. And that's the impact we are here to make. And again, that's when you go from being a business owner to a leader, an authority figure building an empire. It's yeah, it's a huge difference. Um, okay, so we've highlighted the growth you've had, your workshop, your mastermind. We actually didn't even speak about that. You've launched a high-level mastermind for um those who are a little bit more established in the styling space. That's now going to be a$10,000 product within your first 12 months. Again, we've taken the Stylist Club from this membership to this really solidified program, which has now got the most incredible collaboration attached to it as well. Um, whereby you've you've um yeah, collaborated with this incredible school that's going to also send leads your way. The growth's been huge. Um, but what I'd love to talk about now is your experience actually inside her empire as a mastermind. I know you mentioned that this is the first time you've worked with a coach within the coaching space for your coaching business. Um, I'm not sure if you've been in a mastermind before, but for those who have potentially looked at other masterminds or maybe had a bad experience in another mastermind, like what what have you thought about her empire in itself? Um, what you've enjoyed about it, something that shocked you about it, anything like that?

SPEAKER_01:

Something just dropped in, I totally forgot because I think I've blocked it out. I was in a coaching. You and I, I we I was, remember? I was talking about this a long time ago, and it's so interesting. Like, even when you just said must, I'm like, no, I haven't. And I'm like, oh, hold on. Yes, I was a while ago, not a great experience. Um, so I mean, you can't even compare the two. Um, but one thing, yeah. I mean, being her empire, well, I could compare, I guess, is that we get you. You, it's not some, you know, sort of sales pitch, which I have experienced. Um, which is, you know, come into our world, we'll give you everything that you've just said that you wanted. Yes, we'll give you that. And then it's like it's not at all what you expected, the support that you were so looking forward to, which is huge. That's what a main component of joining a mastermind. Um, and yeah, I guess the biggest, some of the biggest things is just the constant support, Jess. Not like you are always there, but but the other women in it are of such an elite level that we bounce things off each other. We have like, I mean, I've had a glass of wine in my hand sometimes at night, and we're like leaving voice messages, and we're like, what that okay, this is what you're gonna do, and vice versa. Like, it's just been incredible. Um, so I think the relationships that you build in her empire is really, really incredible. Um, I think that's again priceless, and it's something that we take with us, um, you know, which I I don't think you get in a lot of larger containers. Um, and that's something, again, I was only in this other mastermind for a short amount of time. So this is really the first experience I've had with something like this, and it it blew me away because it is a small number of people. I didn't expect to build relationships like I have. The feedback that I get and the support and the you know, education and everything I've learned from you, Jess, is always there, like at the press of a button. And I always look forward to our live coaching and things like that. It's something that gives you inspiration. I never thought I'd look forward to coming and watching a class on a fortnightly basis. I literally I get my cup of tea and I'm like, let's go. Like, I can't wait, you know, which is something I know ever all of us feel, which is something that lights up your week. It's something that you look forward to, and doing the work, it just makes it all so enjoyable. And that's what this is about, right? Like doing things that bring you joy. Um, so that's a lot that I've uh a lot about what I've found in her empire, and just like we. Don't want to leave, like, literally, it's like, what do we do now? Like, no, we can't. Everyone's start signing up again. I was gonna say, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, no, but I love that you did highlight the support and that it is next to none, and that is so on purpose because I've also been in masterminds before where you are craving that support, especially given the size of our businesses, the goals that we are setting, that level of growth commands mentorship. And I think that unfortunately is getting so diluted in the mentorship space. We're forgetting the whole point of a mastermind. It is to work closely with a mentor and actually get mentored, which requires support. It requires intimacy. And yeah, that was the whole reason I created Her Empire, so that that mentorship is actually there and serving. Um, it's why we keep the group so small, it's why it's an application process to ensure that I can vet every applicant and ensure that everybody who comes in is at a similar level. They're going to add to the energy of the space, they're going to create connections, like everything is so intentional. It's not this scalable program whereby I'm here just to let as many people in as possible and let them fend for themselves. Like it's it's such a selective process and such an intimate group. So I love that as the receiving on the receiving end of that, you have felt that intimacy and that support.

SPEAKER_01:

And I think that brings you more joy too, Jess. Like that's how you want to coach, and that's how I found I want to coach. And I literally reshaped the Stylus Club eventually, which was more like a membership, which you want we were like, yeah, no, and now I'm doing what you because that was originally the Empire House, the high ticket, but now we've made the Stylist Club that too. Because first of all, yes, it's much more enjoyable for a coach, I feel, to work that way. And the students just get so much more from it. We're in the trenches with you, you're in the trenches with us. Like it's just next level. Like this, you you can't compare it to anything because especially as you say, yeah, there's so many memberships out there where it's you get kind of get lost in the sea of things, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I agree. Yeah, and the connections that we have created in this group are so, so special. Um, yeah. And and just kind of going back to when you are kind of mentorship shopping, it's important to always ensure that the mentor you're working with aligns with the way that you want to run your business. And while I do always say, if if anyone asks me a question in my world, the first thing I'll say is, Well, what do you want to do? Like, what are you thinking? Let's start there. Because I'm never here to tell you what to do. And I know there are some mentors out there who may have a preference and then say, Well, this is the only way that will work, and this is the only way that you should go about it. So we always create this space of what do you want to do? Whatever you choose, we will make it work and we'll make it the best. Um, but it does help when you are in alignment with the preference of the mentor. And as you've mentioned, I do love higher priced programs and offers because it draws in clients who are looking for a higher price tag. I love creating these premium exclusive spaces whereby it's not so much about masses, but it's about individual mentorship. And so, because that's my preference and that's your preference, it's really an enabled us to create this brand that just feels and looks so, so, so good for you.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. And it just resonates so well with us, you know, it needs to be like alignment is everything. Um, so yeah, and I think even on that, just like bespoke, the word bespoke comes to mind, where it's like we can be in a room of like five of us, say, for instance. When we're talking, when it's our turn, it's just you and me, you know, as bespoke to whatever, it's not like this is what, and actually, that was the difference, a major difference, which was another the other where it's like you have to only talk about this, you've got this time allocated, you can't veer off this path, and it just felt so mechanical. Um, and it's like, but that I've got really got something that I need to figure out. It's like, well, well, no, you can't, you know, and that's what I love. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And you can't move off that. Which to a point, I feel like speaks more about the coach because a good coach I feel can work with whatever they're brought to the table. They don't need prep. They don't need like if I'm bringing you a question, um, then I mean, you and I have even said this, Jess, in our one-on-ones, where it's like, we'll know the answer, and if we don't, we'll go and find it for you. But I'm not gonna pretend that I, you know, that's not who I am. It's so authentic. But I love that it's just almost free-falling, or like it's just it's it's um, what's that word? Free dancing, like improvisation, like um, where it's like, so bespoke, come and talk to me about whatever you need to talk about, and we'll figure it out. We'll workshop that till we get it right.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. And that's entrepreneurship. We are thinking about a million and one things in one day and one week. Very rarely are we fixated on a particular topic this particular week. Um, it's always after the yeah. So, again, you've got to find a space that can hold the space for the roller coaster that is entrepreneurship and the many different hats we have to wear, and the many different challenges, and the lessons, and the wins that are going to come up. Like the mentorship has to hold space for all of that. Um, so yeah, I completely agree. There's so much power in that as well. Um, what what else do we need to speak about? Like, this is because you've covered so much. I love it. I know, I know, I know. Something about my world that was quite new for you. Has have you learned anything that's just been a standout, the biggest aha moment for you that yeah, was kind of a a new teaching for you?

SPEAKER_01:

How you teach, literally, like how you coach has been like so important to me to watch as well. Like, even though I'm in it, I'm also learning from you. Do you know what I mean? So that has been really, really important because I've had a teaching background in ballet. Obviously, I was a ballet dancer before interior design, all those sorts of things, but coaching through a computer screen is a very different thing. Um, and that's um, you know, a tactic you have to learn, and and it's really something that and I think also I remember one of the things I said to you just in our first one. I was like, you're so calm, and you're so like to the point. Whereas I am a very different, like, I'm a lot calmer now, and I was probably a bit more frantic back then, and I was like, I've got to get this out, I've got to, and it's like, have a method, you know, break it down, be sure and confident in your knowledge and your value and what you're offering, which you know, I learned that a lot from you, Jess, which was a game changer in my business. Um, and just sitting back and taking the time, and when you respond to messages, like you will really sit there and respond, you know, in Telegram, and you will go through all of the messages and you will leave voice messages, like you won't miss a beat. And I think that's been something for me to watch and learn from as well, where it's it's just take your time, you know, like this is changing somebody else's life. Yeah, yeah, it really is.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And there is always that difference between advice and grounded confident advice. You know, everyone can give an answer, but again, it's like, is the answer actually going to serve them and and and help them? Yeah. Um, yeah. Well, yeah, no, behind the scenes, I hit play on Telegram and I've got my notepad, and I'll listen to the voice messages and I take my notes and then I come back and then I respond.

SPEAKER_01:

I love that. I'm like, what has she got? I reckon she goes to get to cup of tea and then sit there.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm like, she's locked in. It's a moment. It's a moment. It's because some of the decisions that you guys are making in Telegram and also on our coaching calls are impacting multi-six-figure, seven-figure businesses. Like, we've got to get this stuff right, and we're here to get it right, as we've spoken about on today's call within all of the businesses inside Her Empire, and then obviously my brand is this very premium undercurrent. And every decision we make, every price tag, every offer is all to line up with having this luxurious, elegant um premium brand. And we've actually been talking about this a lot in Her Empire with Black Friday coming up. You know, how can we do this differently? How can we really stand out and not have our business look like a sales rack, but rather really maintain this elegance that we've all created. So um, yeah, everything needs to be Jess with you.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, you do that so well, and that's something that attracted to me as well. Like your premium brand, you can see that you're premium on all of your touch points. And then something like Black Friday, you know, I remember all the girls asking you, like Jess, how would you do this? Because you don't discount prices, you don't do this, and you know, we always want to add value. So, again, just looking from a different angle, and that's what I'm all about in with my students. Like, look, think out of the box. Yeah, you know, look from a different angle and the way you did your Black Friday, like amazing, you know, or are doing it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah, 100%. Well, what's next for you? Uh both within the styling company and the design company, because let's not forget about the incredible empire you've built there, but then also within your coaching brand.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. So still working, I'm doing five design projects at the moment, so they're not going anywhere, and I love them. Um, but I really love coaching. So it's like very excited. I almost get a little bit more excited about coaching. I'm always my computer. So I next up, next six months is the Stylist Club. So we're in a launch period at the moment where we are bringing on so we've got four sign-ups already, which is really cool. I'll probably cap it at around 10 because I love a small group, as we were saying. And then in June, we've got um the Empire House. So I broke it up. So one intake for each a year, which feels good for me. I can give them my all, and plus still work with my design projects because we've got quite a few in motion at the moment. But Newport, Palm Beach, Double Bay, Freshwater, like there's a lot going on. I imagine they're big homes as well. They would be massive homes. Yeah. Yeah, they're big homes, yeah. But again, they're just the most beautiful people with the, you know, because again, I'm attracting my drum clients, so I I love it. Um, but yeah, next year, I'm looking forward to a holiday at the end of the year, Jess. I'm not gonna lie. But in the best way possible, I was saying to my girlfriend the other day, Evie, who's also in the academy, your other um program, Jess, where it's just like, I'm I'm really gonna appreciate this break this year because I know I've done so much work. So yes, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

That's what's next for me. Yeah, I love it. I'm so excited. Well, I'm gonna link all of your uh links in the show notes below. If you are in the interior design styling space, then Naomi is the person to go and follow and be led by. Um, and of course, if anything that Naomi has shared today in terms of her empire sparks an interest for joining me inside this space, we are obviously filling 2026 spots as we speak. There are only a few left. This round is filling up very, very quickly. Um, so I'll link the application and the sales page for you guys below. But again, my DM and email is open if you want to chat about anything. Um, but yeah, hopefully this has provided some insight into what it's like to be a client in my world, but also the type of women that you will get to walk alongside in my world. Um, yeah, you get to to rub shoulders with women who are doing the most incredible things, building empires of their own. And that in itself is just next to none. So yeah. And Naomi, thank you for being here and for sharing your knowledge. I'm so grateful. Um, yeah, just so grateful for you, so proud of everything that you've done this year. You have absolutely not taken your foot off the accelerator once. I love it.

SPEAKER_01:

That's how I roll Jess.

SPEAKER_00:

Does that alongside like you know, raising a baby and doing that so well as well? Every now and then we see his little curls come up along the bottom of the screen is never far. Never far.

SPEAKER_01:

I love it. Um, thank you, Jess. Like it's just been the most amazing experience, like literally. Like, and then when you came down to Sydney, like my whole family adores you, like everyone that meets you adores you. So get into her empire, guys. Yeah. Next level.

SPEAKER_00:

And I actually am a part of the fam now.

SPEAKER_01:

You are. I think they like you more than me, actually.

SPEAKER_00:

I love it. Well, thank you again, Naomi, and thank you to everybody who has tuned into this episode. As always, um, I'm here if you have any questions, but I will talk to you guys in the next episode.
