Kansas City True Crime Cases hosted by sisters Hether and Haley. Hether, an administrator with The Doe Network, has 12 years of experience volunteering with families of missing persons. A friend of Haley's stepson (who lived with them briefly while attending high school) was murdered in 2016. After his death, she founded “We Are His Voice” (now called “We Are Their Voice”), a call-to-action community group pursuing justice for Kansas City’s crime victims. The sisters discuss missing person and unsolved murder cases in the Kansas City area and include interviews with family members of the victim's when possible.

One week later, Janina's body was discovered at the bottom of a well. Her manner of death was blunt force trauma to the back of the head. Police ruled her death as accidental.
