Al Kaufman is a product safety expert with more than 40 years of senior leadership positions addressing product safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and product testing issues for toy companies and retailers. He recently retired as Senior Vice President of Technical Affairs at the the Toy Association. Previously he has led global product safety management for Toys "R" Us, Disney, Mattel, Knickerbocker and Coleco. He is a past president of the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) and member of the Executive Board of ASTM's F15 Committee for Consumer Products.
