looking for things that I have seen,
on the outs and in the between.
opening drawers that I've opened prior,
this constant crying wolf's proof I'm a liar.
imagining places it's perfectly hidden,
just because it's gone does that mean it's forbidden?
believing it is where it's never been,
a penance I pay to atone for my sin?
running out of age to find what's mine,
believing I will if I have enough time.
And I don't.
