Three things are hidden in the Ark of the Covenant: A golden jar containing manna, representing God's provision over our needs. Then there was Aaron's staff. The staff was an almond branch, but this branch never dried up; it always budded. It represents this picture of hope - if we place our hope in Jesus, we will never be disappointed. Lastly, there were the stone tablets with the Ten Commandments. (Hebrews 9:1-5) The Ten Commandments are based on faith, hope, and love (1 Corinthians 13:13). What can we learn from the Ark of the Covenant? In the blood of Jesus, we have the promise of faith (provision), hope, and love.
