Vintage City Church

Vintage City Church // Teaching Series: Revelation // Greg Sanders // Revelation 2:12-17, Numbers 22:9-12, Numbers 25:1-9, & Numbers 31:14-16.

Continuing our series in Revelation, Pastor Greg focuses our attention on aligning our heart's desires with God's in the act of obedience.

Jesus has some issues with the sin of the church of Pergamum. In Revelation 2: 12-17, Jesus expresses His anger towards the sin of tolerating idolatry and sexual sin. The way Jesus addresses these issues applies directly to our culture. It means it's a word for the church today. Why is Jesus addressing these issues? Because we are responsible to Him for each other, we are responsible to each other before Him. We are part of one thing; we are part of one body. But yet, we are introduced to a life that we would compromise, which Jesus has not called us to live.
