A Brief Update
Okay, so this is kind of a difficult episode. Like. Aubrey, you're back so soon? Didn't you just publish an episode? Yes, yes I did. And if you haven't listened to that, you probably should, because it's actually a pretty good one. So anyways, this is actually going to be a little bit of a painful one to make. And I really just wanted to update you guys on what's going on. So it's complicated. I'm not going to get into too many details here, frankly, because it's not anybody's business. And it also is very much still fresh and it still hurts a lot. So that being said, you might have even noticed some changes on our Instagram. And that happened today without my knowledge really at first. And Emma has decided that she no longer wants to be a part of the podcast. So moving forward, it's just going to be me. She deleted Instagram posts that revolved around her, and as of right now, all episodes of us together are still standing. I do not intend to get rid of them. Uh, that might change in the future. I'm not sure, but I've poured, like, a lot of my hours into those episodes, so I don't really want to get rid of them. Things are just kind of difficult between me right now. So I obviously understand this dynamic, and it's been very difficult for me to process, um, especially because everything happened right now a lot of times with finals and everything, and it kind of feels like I lost two friendships at once. So. I'm not going to get into any of that, but, um, I've been trying to cope and give myself that grace to go through everything. Moving forward, it's going to just look a little bit different. I still want to keep up with the podcast because this has been a really nice outlet for me. Even just doing the Penguin one was very like decompressing for me in the midst of finals week. So. I still have a lot to yap about and I'm not giving up on this. So I will now be running the Instagram and I will continue to run everything else as usual. And so actually, things might be a lot more consistent now because I only have to work around my schedule. I still might have guests on the podcast. Um, I just don't think that there's probably going to be any more with Emma for the foreseeable future. Obviously, things can change, and that's fine. Um, I did not kick her off of the podcast. She chose that and I respect that. So I don't have ill feelings towards her. I just wanted to explain, because it is going to randomly change from two college girls to hey, it's actually just me. Um, and also all of our past episodes and our intros are all about both of us, so I might have to go back and change my introduction to the podcast. We might be doing that. And I don't know, I genuinely don't want to touch the episodes that I already completed because those. Like, I don't know, they exist and I've put a lot of work into them. And also, it's not like any of my episodes paint her in a negative light. So including this one. I just wanted to update you, I guess, on what's going on, what's moving forward, and it's painful. I'm processing things kind of confusing. And I know I'm not saying a lot of stuff that's going on, and that's like I said, it's just because it's it doesn't involve everybody. And also I am still processing things anyways. So moving forward, it's just going to be me on the podcast and I still appreciate everyone that listens. So thank you for listening.
